What a lovely little find this was. The menu is extensive with lots of variety for the non steak eater and for the steak eater it is a small slice of heaven. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. For quite a big space it still seems like a personal dining experience with a lovely ambiance. Would highly recommend.

We went for a Bottomless Brunch at Prescot and it was absolutely amazing. Liam, was so attentive and explained everything and the staff and food was more than expected. We would definitely recommend Maturo to all our friends xx

Best steakhouse, Firat is the best salesman! He always gives the best deal. The steaks were amazing, had two T-bone steaks with some lovely sides. Really love this restaurant, and definitely prefer it over the sister restaurant Noir in Monton. Definitely our favorite steakhouse.

Fantastic steak excellent service definitely back again

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my visit to Maturo 😅 A friend and I went in for food on a Friday and were asked if we booked, told the waiter yes and he walked away to a large table. We had followed thinking he was taking us to the enpty table next to them, but he seemed to be seeing to their needs and just left us there, not informing us of whether it was our table or not. We awkwardly stood there for a bit before returning to the front desk area. The manager (maybe owner?) came over and sorted us out a table. We got our drinks quickly and food wait was a little long, but they were extremely busy. Sadly, I can't say the food was enjoyable. Spicy turkish sausage was covered in a lukewarm congealed cheese sauce, and wasn't spicy. My friend had the feta wraps and said they were good though (but be warned they're big!) For our mains, the fajitas were covered in so much oil, and lacked any seasoning! I also suggest that you bring your own wraps too, as they give you plenty of meat and veg etc. but only 2 wraps (it's one tortilla cut in half). This just wasn't enough for the dish. Friend had the garlic chicken, but it also had no flavour (no sauce) and the dish doesn't even come with any vegetables? Strange it lacks a basic side like those. We weren't offered if we wantrd desserts or anything after our plates were cleared. We waited over 20 minutes until we could grab someone to eventually get our bill. Place is extremely noisy - which I understand and expect to a certain level on a weekend. But it was unbelievably loud, where everyone has to shout so they hear each other. They also play birthday music, bang on tambourines and sing when they bring out cake to people - amazingly we heard it at least 3 times (maybe 4) that evening. Just not my sort of place at all unfortunately!

Wow, just wow! We decided last minute to dine here on Saturday and made a booking on line with ease. On arrival, our tables wasn't quite ready so we were offered complimentary drinks whilst we waited. The restaurant was bustling with two birthday celebrations, a private event upstairs and every other table full with large groups. We were seated and our food order taken shortly after. The different steaks are visible in a giant fridge so it's easy to decide what you'd like to eat and the staff bring it out to you to choose the size of the piece if you opt for the specialised steak like the Wagu which is extremely popular. The atmosphere was merry with 'happy birthday' being sang by staff to the birthday people and it kind of Mexican themed in its delivery with the whole restaurant joining in clapping and singing. The food was divine, my fillet steak being one of the best I've ever eaten and the cocktails complimented it perfectly. My daughter and fiance both thoroughly enjoyed their steaks too and each of plates were completely clear at the end. The staff were extremely attentive and we did not want for anything. Unfortunately we're only in Manchester twice a year visiting family but we'll be eating here every time we visit from now on!! Thank you to all the staff working on Saturday night - you did a fantastic job xx

My Mum and I decided last minute to eat at Maturo this evening! So happy we did! Throughly enjoyed! Had the feta & king prawns for starters, both had fillet steak, potatoes, asparagus and onion rings for mains - Both with glasses of Merlot and Chardonnay (no deserts) all was delicious and cooked to perfection! Special mention to Courtney, who was lovely, friendly and made us feel super at easy!

My son and I went in for the early bird menu. Two courses £18. Food was really good, I'd highly recommend!

This place is amazing, there is no words to explain how good the food and service is. We will be back here every week now. My mouth is still watering from the taste of the whole meal 😍😍😍 the steak is cooked to perfection and the staff match the perfection of the meal with outstanding service and smiles.

Prescot is much better waited 15-20 mins be asked if we needed a drink and the place way empty so id hate to be there when its busy asked for medium rare steak it was medium and the mrs got fillet was 40% blubber lol.. not worth the money here

Went on saturday 20th july 24 our 1st visit to this restaurant and was so impressed by the quality of food the service and atmoshere. A special mention to our waitress Maisie she gave us a great service and made us feel so so welcome amazing young lady. Will go back again when back in Urmston. To everyone at Maturo keep up the great work Excellent time had hopefully see you all again real soon.

What can I say the food was Outstanding garlic prawns We're amazing. I have never eaten prawns like that before. and the Calamari was perfect . Steak was Cooked. to perfection.Absolutely.Recommend this restaurants at anyone.Staff was also outstanding friendly and we were well looked after Even had complimentary shots at the end. 3 friends and I had a bottomless brunch at Maturo on Friday afternoon.. It was absolutely fantastic. Great value for money. Food was great and the staff could not be faulted. I’ve only marked the atmosphere low as we were amongst only a few folk in there but I imagine if it was busy it would be great. A big plus is that there was NO loud music as one of my friends is hard of hearing. Would thoroughly recommend it.

We both had fillet steaks perfectly cooked to our liking with a decent portion of sides. Everything on the menu is at a reasonable price especially considering the quality. Very nice wines to go with it, overall would recommend 🥰.

We had a fantastic meal at Maturo Meathouse last night for my dads birthday. The food was excellent and came quickly. The staff were welcoming, friendly and entertaining when singing happy birthday to my dad. Ugur & Firat went above & beyond to make it a lovely meal and celebration. We will definitely visit again, thank you so much!

The best steakhouse there is! Simple as that! I have been a regular customer since the restaurant opened and I won't go anywhere else for steak! Brilliant and friendly customer service!

Table of 6 for a 50th birthday, have to say I don't understand the hype. Ordered starters waited 30 minutes at 6.30pm on a Saturday, before everyone had finished they started clearing the table, when I stated someone was still eating I was told by the waiter "its ok" ! . With the rush to clear started plates we then had to wait a further 30 plus minutes for our mains, which were brought out, with so much confusion as to whose was who's !! I ordered medium well ( yes i know lol, but I hate the taste of blood) for it to come out bleeding ! Oh and mains were again cleared before everyone had finished MASSIVE NO NO , let along the fact last person still eating was the person celebrating his birthday! It's no wonder they keep it dark in the restaurant, then you can't see the temperature of your steak! Having spent around £300, ten quid off wasn't good enough to be honest. Highly unlikely to return, sorry ! 😞

We have been to maturo a few times now and believe me when i say we will definately be regular customers going forward! we tried the mixed starter for 2 which was delicious and the perfect way to try all of the starter options. I had the lamb for my main and my husband tried the fillet steak and both were cooked to perfection and super juicy. They also have some amazing steaks in their display cabinet which would be perfect for a special occasion. The couple on the next table had a tomahawk steak, and the service of this was jawdropping, really theatrical with flames and the meat looked delicious too. All in all, thefood was amazing, the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere was great. The prices are also really reasonable for the quality of the food. Would 1000% recommend

Sinew , gristle and fatty Texas steak. How can a specialist "steak house" serve such poor quality cheap steak. A chef of any decent standard should know if the piece of meat they are cooking is good enough to serve by looking at it prior to cooking. But to then send out what they did , they should be ashamed. 350g steak I would say over 60% indelible..very poor ... Taking it off the bill did not make up for this disappointment.

Great food , great atmosphere highly recommended

Went the other week with a couple of mates, we're not local and didn't know what to expect as I'd just seen it mentioned in a top 8 Manchester steakhouse list. Was pleasantly surprised when I walked into an atmosphere that felt more like a busy bar than a restaurant, everyone chatting and in good spirits. We also noticed straight away that they make a massive deal of birthdays, with loud music and the staff encouraging the birthday table to get up and dance and celebrate, was pretty funny and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We ordered a lot of food between us, including a Tomahawk, Japanese Wagyu, and a huge T-Bone, plus starters, sides, and sauces. Of the starters we had, the Rib (which was massive) and the feta spring roll things with marinara sauce really stood out. When the main course came, the meats were perfectly cooked well seasoned, and well worth the hefty price tags (which is still good value given the weight of the meat you're getting). We were missing a few sauces, the staff were ran off their feet busy and didn't get chance to bring out before we finished the food, so these got comped along with some drinks for the inconvenience, which was a nice touch by the management. Sides were decent, hallumi salad, sweet potato fries, and normal fries. Fries were a little too salty but not worth moaning about as still tasty. Finally, we took a few deserts home for the other halves and kids (we were stuffed at that point), and they loved those too. Will go back again!!!

After reading other reviews about good service and friendly staff, our experience did not match this. I’m not sure if we were unlucky, but the service was very poor. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children. All the meals were brought to the table, apart from mine. After 5 mins I had to go and ask where it was. When it finally arrived, the rest of my family were half way through their meal. I received a half hearted apology. We did not stay for desert. My family don’t live locally, so we always dine out when they visit. We did not enjoy our experience and we will not be returning.

Lovely restaurant, the main meals were very tasty. I did feel the prawn starter was overpriced but was nice. It was very loud in the restaurant but that was possibly due to there being a large party seated near us. Good, fast service.

Visited Maturo with a friend for a girly catch up, the food here is amazing! The servers were polite and non invasive. Nothing was too much for them. Even though they knew they were booked up, they found us a table! And the food was amazing.. a little pricey, but worth it.... you have to try the teriyaki chicken!

Been wanting to try here for a while, so we decided to go on the Early Bird special. The service was brilliant and the food was lovely, I had the calamari , lamb steak and a cheesecake all for just £20 it was so good and what amazing value. My partner had a garlic leaf steak and chicken wings to start which she really enjoyed. I will definitely return for the early bird and would also go back and try the various cuts of steak they have which are all on display.

We had the bottomless brunch and it was amazing! It was £35pp, the food was immaculate and were very accommodating to a vegetarian too eventhough it's a meat house. Would 100% recommend.

Ordering Country chicken burger and firecracker burger second time round as the first time both were perfect. Unfortunately this time the buns were drenched in burger sauce, resulting in soggy buns that didn't hold up the filling. A bit disappointed as the burgers didn't live up to the expected taste and texture. On the plus side, onion rings were absolutely delicious, crispy and flavorful!

We Had my husband 70th Birthday surprise party here 6th April. There was 21 of us . And it was purfect .Staff did everything to make it a special night for us . I recommend it to anyone. Food was excellent .we will go again .Thankyou to all the staff.

Very underwhelming for the price and service wasn't great. Didn't get drinks until after the meal and had to ask someone. Didn't get someone to take Any orders until 20 mins after we arrived. Food was pub quality. Onion rings were mush and tasted just like shop bought Didn't even get a steak knife! Didn't find the service very friendly either. It was so loud as well in there and was very overwhelming. Cost too much for the quality and wouldn't be going back
