Been back multiple times now 😋 Noodles' texture is excellent but the soup is always served warm, not hot. If it was hot, it would be perfect!! Pigs ears are excellent. Flavorful and goes so well with the noodles. Chinese beef burger is not for my taste but, to each their own. Waitresses are always very nice and welcoming.

Inside the restaurant is very basic and nothing special but the food overall was delicious and very cheap. In particular, I would highly recommend the pan-fried scallion pancakes, although it does require a soy sauce dip, in my opinion, which is available near the counter (self-service). The pancake surface is very crispy and has a good texture. I also ordered the biang biang noodles. Although I ordered a small size, the portion size was still pretty big as the bowl was full with the hand pulled delicious noodles. I have had slightly better flavoured ones, but for the portion size and price, I can't complain, and these were also pretty decent. I would definitely like to return again if I am in Newcastle.

Authentic Chinese flavours. We tried their dumplings in chili oil, beef shin noodle soup, beef and wonton noodle soup. Enjoyed the dumplings and the beef shin noodle soup but the beef wonton noodle soup could’ve been a bit better. Their broth is made from beef bone marrow.

The real thing, walk through door and your in China. Genuine food. Only cash. Mostly soups and noodles. Do not expect usual menu it's all home cook

Can’t believe the amount of good reviews this place has, honestly some of the worst “Chinese” food I’ve ever had. The steamed chicken was in a pool of ‘chilli’ oil with no flavour, just an oily mess. The scallion pancakes had barely any scallion in, and were floury and dry. The atmosphere inside was cold and dead inside, no music so was uncomfortable eating and talking. Overpriced and that’s an understatement.

It's my second visit to this restaurant. The food is good overall but I think the restaurant is definitely lacking manpower. There's only one staff member taking orders while having to serve food and collect bills. You can tell the kitchen is lacking staff too as our food was not hot enough when they're being served (it's like they've done the dishes earlier but were left unserved so it turned warm instead of boiling hot). The chicken dumplings were ok but overpriced (not really recommended), but other than that the noodles tasted good. Be prepared for a longer wait time because the restaurant is always packed and they only accept cash.

The food hygiene is very poor!!! My friend and I started to have stomachaches after dinner, and we both had persistent diarrhea the next morning. This is obvious food poisoning!!! After my friend informed the boss of the situation, the boss did not admit that there was any problem with the food hygiene and kept shirking responsibility!!! Regarding this situation, a complaint has been made to the local authorities in Newcastle.

Second time to have a food at master wang. The first time, I went at noon that they’re very busy. Most of customers come since the restaurant open… The noodles soup is good but too much oil for me but it’s still good not bad! We have to take a long time for waiting to order and we understand that. So, I recommend to go on dinner time that is better because the restaurant will not too much busy and make you do not to rush in eating. I love this place! The pork burger is incredible, and with the noodle dishes it's impossible to walk away still hungry. The noodles are fresh and light, and the portions are big enough to fill you for the day.

The noodles are too thick, so I’m not satisfied with it, and I’m used to praising it.

The picture on the menu does not look like what I ordered, therefore quite disappointed. I ordered braised beef and wonton noodle soup. I received exactly three small wonton a few small pieces of beef (quite fatty and tough) and one leaf of iceberg lettuce (not the nice quality green choi on the menu photo). Just let you know the menu photo is not what you will get. I even ordered large (£11)! The large option is just extra noodles, that's all. On the positive note, the staff were polite, the soup broth was tasty and the noodles itself were deliciously handmade with a perfect consistency. Hence, three stars. However, I went in January and the place itself was cold n no heating. I had to leave my coat on, eat and go. Hence, the atmosphere is minimal.

Authentic xi'an Chinese cuisine, the kind of food you will find in China. This is not an anglicised menu, I'm so glad I can go here and eat like I did in China. This is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Newcastle. Definitely worth a visit. Get the 肉夹馍 （rou jia mo). You will not regret it

I had my first experience here eating Chinese food for the first time in life. They gave me two small sized sticks and being a veggie, ordered an egg noodles and they gave it a bit of watery sauce on it. It was a different experience but felt hard to eat with 2 chop sticks. The noodles were big and good with juicy sauce. The place was small and the seating was very close to each other. But overall a good experience for the first time eating with the chop sticks.

Poor service. Waited 10 minutes at the door and no staff is willing to serve. Then seated by ourselves and asked for the menu, waited for another 10 minutes still not getting the menu. The staff only focus on serving Chinese customers. Terrible experience.

We came here in the afternoon on a weekday, and the restaurant was packed to the brim with patrons! Just look at the menu! Their specialty is indeed the noodles, and it really is delicious! I ordered the Spicy Beef Shin Noodle. Tender beef chunks with a rich broth, and tangy noodles ( I believe they are hand-made in this restaurant. Correct me if I'm wrong). Spicy, and incredibly rich with Umami. 🍜 For Chinese noodles, here's the spot not to miss in Newcastle!

Food is really oily and salty, I actually add some water, but their mapo tofu tastes good. This place has self-serve water and sauce area, it reminded me of restaurants in Asia, which was very nice. Like other Chinese restaurants, it's a cash-only place.

Must try!!!! So much flavor in the noodle soups and it was also relatively cheap. I got a small chongqing noodle soup. It had a mildly spicy and very delicious peanut taste, topped with crushed peanuts, cabbage and other vegetables for added crunch texture. The small bowl is more than enough for me, and it was a very warm filling meal. I can't wait to be back and try out the other dishes on the menu! Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept cards.

Best noodles in Newcastle by MILES Unassuming decor, chill staff, standard drinks; followed by the most delicious noodle soups ive maybe ever had. My partner had the Chongqing noodles and I the beef flank with wontons. Its been a week now and we've already been back twice to try everything else and its all been absolutely delicous and each dish incredibly unique. The Chongqing noodles are by far my recommendation. Spicy, rich stock with cabbage and peanuts. Sounds simple. But really really really good. Really.

今天在王师傅面馆点了外卖，点了一份酱脊骨和两份小包子（店里吃应该是没有，要直接跟老板私信），等到餐点到达，我惊奇发现送过来一个高压锅，由于惊吓过度没有拍照片，里面满满的全是酱脊骨，两份小包子将近20个，一共加起来28磅，真的是太良心了，而且味道没得说脊骨非常入味。包子虽然不是完美的味道，但家常的口味对于身在国外的我很满足了。 之前下课总是去王师傅面馆吃，性价比极高的学生食堂。今天的外卖更是震惊到我了，真心希望这么实在的店家能一直红火下去。必须5星好评。
