First time we visited the food was great - really fresh mushrooms in the mushroom curry, tasty sweet and sour. Second visit the mushrooms were old and rubbery, and the chicken in the S&S was chewy and fatty, and the spring rolls were soggy. Service isn't great - both times I've had to wait to get the attention of the ladies at the desk who are so engrossed in their books/phones. A real shame - I was hopeful we'd found a gem after the first visit, but now not so sure.

Ordered from Master Chef last night 22/02 and would definitely order from here again. The food arrived hot, was absolutely delicious! Very quick and good service, we did not have to wait for our food to be delivered for long,and we recieved free prawn crackers and spring rolls too. one very happy customer.

Absolutely awful Chinese. Waited 2 hours for food to arrive and when it did, the quality of food was disgusting. The chicken was reminiscent of something made of rubber! When we complained, no reimbursement was offered. £30 wasted on food that in the end wasn't eaten. Horrible!

Very disappointed with the food. Although it was a good price and portion sizes were impressive the quality was not. All meat dishes we ordered were tough and over done. Sauce on the BBQ ribs was bland and tasteless, nothing like BBQ. Prawn toast was once again over cooked and burnt. Unfortunately it was the first time we ordered from here so not sure if it was a one off but after tonight we wouldn't order from here again. Really didn't enjoy it. First impressions go far.

Always very good food .. no complaints on that score whatsoever .. We use master chef regular .. Would have been 5 star but for delivery .. it is around 45 minutes to one hour

I have been looking for a new fish and chips shop and I have found this one. Unfortunately looking at some of the reviews (good and bad) I feel very put off giving this place a chance. This is because of the low level of professionalism from the shop when responding to a customer complaint. I understand that customers are not always right but the response from the owner has a fowl attitude which makes me believe the level of standards I would expect would not be on existence upon my arrival. Maybe if the shop owner had a more friendly approach towards such negative views, I may consider buying.

26 Somerton Road Somerton, Newport NP19 8LD WalesPopped in for a quick chip lunch, got the kids fish bites meal. Very odd taste, fish smelt really strong and the batter was wet and soggy, really really thick, over cooked on outside and uncooked inside. Didn't eat barely any of the fish due to the strong smell. Chips were fine
