Food was lovely but arrived an hour earlier than we ordered for. Food was not as nasty due to having to be kept warm for an hour whilst we waited for our guests to arrive.

Complete shambles, gave our order to someone else, re cooked the wrong order, arguing in the kitchen something out of a carry on film.

Food was ok but spare ribs weren’t spare ribs just little bits chopped up although taste was ok but not really worth the ever increasing price .. but early delivery which was great 👍🏻

Ordered food for my wife's birthday waited 2 hours on a Monday for delivery. Got a £11 refund even though the food was cold. Staff put the phone down on us. Very poor service. Used them for years never again. Such a shame.

Great food as always worth the wait as know are very busy at weekends

The 1/2 duck was tiny, the fat hadn’t rendered and the skin was soft and rubbery. Very expensive and an hour late even after a call to the restaurant after no delivery 30 mins after it said it would be delivered. The chicken balls were also soft and cold on delivery will never use this restaurant again.

Egg Fried rice was overcooked, rice was hard. I think it was lumps of burnt egg or over used oil. Everything else was just OK. Not found a good Chinese apart from WOK 1, but they are on holiday.

soup was not soup just noodles, spare rib very dry, couldn't give a description of duck rolls more like creasy rolls not enjoyable threw most away.

Amazing food, arrived early and hot. Will definitely be ordering again.

I asked for whipped cream on our iced latte but by the time it came to us the cream had evaporated. it was supposed to part if 50th birthday pressie.so disappointed.

Just Over an hour late, was told it had already been delivered so had to ring the restaurant twice to actually get updated.

Alittle late but very worth the wait. first time using the restaurant but will definitely be repeat customers. Food fantastic, thank you.

Order acknowledged at 19:01, delivered at 20:32. 91mins to cook 3 ‘standard’ items i.e pre-prepared and deliver 2.4miles away. Had lost interest and my appetite! Wont use again, will stick with my usual Chinese takeaway. Food ok, although the honey ribs were dry by the time they got to me. Soggy, not crispy prawn balls, needing cooking longer, mushy inside. Smoked shredded chicken was excellent, nicely done.

Love this Chinese but won’t be using it again as they’ve put their delivery minimum order up to £25 and our usual order is £22. We don’t want anymore than that order

Good was 10/10 and hot when it arrived but the order was over an hour late.

Food was estimated to arrive in 45- 55 minutes, called after 1 hour 20 mins, was told that they couldn’t see it on their system, so it must be a few mins away, so phoned 15 mins later to be told that it was just leaving the kitchen then. When it arrived, one of the dished was incorrect, and 1 was missing. Food was good, but not worth the wait.

we waited 1hr 45 mins for our food. the app said it was delivered when it wasent. rang up twice first time my food is out for delivery should be there soon. waited 15 mins later to call up again to be told my food is just leaving the kitchen and they got my order mixed up with someone elses before hand.It arrived the beef curry had spit 🫣 and the rest of the food was semi warm. Not impressed will not be going back anytime soon

Awful, this chinese has gone massively downhill. Food took nearly an hour longer than stated. The food was cold and parts missing. Called the takeaway and they told me the boss was out and back in 2 hours. I called back and they left the phone on so that I could hear as the boss shouted in the background just tell them I’m not hear. They then cut me off the phone. I called back and asked for the manager, a woman came into the phone and said that the boss wasn’t in and she would be back tomorrow. I asked approximately 7-8 times what the bosses name was and the woman said that she didn’t know her bosses name. Do not use this Chinese it was possibly the worst service I have ever received and I was charged over 50quid for the privilege.

Such a shame, as I usually like this place for food, however. I ordered food on 7.8.24 through their app, all mone was taken and order accepted. Waited well over an hour, and then called them, to be told by voice mail that they were closed until a later date. So had to go elsewhere. Now, I can't get hold of them for a refund, email doesn't work and geys returned , and no one answers phone. Hopefully they will see this and rectify the mistake. As I enjoy the food from there.

My food never even came! I should have listened to the bad reviews on here, I got a notification saying food was delivered, but it hasn’t been! So disappointing

4 of our orders were cold. I have requested a refund.

Items missing and wrong items delivered. Phoned the restaurant and they said the Just Eat driver had left so I have to contact Just Eat. They packed the order wrong. It's their fault. The lady hung up on me. Never using this Chinese again. Rude and incompetent.

note to self (do not use). Wow, when did take out food get so bad? Special fried rice from a Chinese should be straight forward … slime which was supposed to be chicken and beef. Tasteless ‘gravy’ hunks of carrot and spring onion mixed with tinned salted veg (water chestnuts & bamboo shoots) and a rotten (sour) cabbage leaf with king prawns they were way too smelly/fishy to be eaten- is there no pride in what one sends out to their customers? Seriously have some self respect and work ethic.

The food was good as always! I love their Chow mein noodles and any kind of beef dish. Will definitely order again.

Not good every dish was floating in watered down sweet and sour sauce. Chicken chop suey was a disaster again floating in a red watery liquid. Small portions for an expensive price Prawn crackers were fine.

Ordered some food and asked specifically for BBQ sauce instead of sweet and sour with the chicken balls. The delivery turned up with sweet and sour sauce, and a missing tub of food. I wasn't too happy about this, so to be told it would take another 20-30 mins for the sauce and food to be delivered was disappointing! Staff didn't seem too bothered but I eventually got the missing bits. Food was mediocre, nothing special. Real shame because it used to be one of my favourite take aways, unfortunately the quality of food and service seems to have gone down rapidly. Won't be ordering again

Been ordering from here for years and never got around to leaving a review. We think it's the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Food is always great and hot. Will definitely keep ordering from you MasterChef. Keep up the good work!! 👍

Delicious food and excellent delivery

Ordered through just eat spending around £45 they missed out the rice so I call immediately and they tell me 20 minutes and I'll have my rice then deliver my rice 50 minutes later after complaint.. we usually enjoy this Chinese and order at least once a month.. now never again this place has ruined a family meal for us.

very surprised it was early on a bank holiday, but very welcome as we were hungry. Great food as usual.

Excellent food. Big improvement on our usual place. Good portion sizes and good quality tasty food! Will make this our regular from now on. Set menu C was simply perfect and I’m glad we tried something new.

Ordered just before 7 didn’t arrive until gone 8:30 estimated delivery was 7:25-7-45 it was pretty disappointing as I waited all that time for it to be below average and pretty much cold

Over 2 x hours waiting for delivery despite initially being told 45 minutes and fobbed off. Cancelled in the end. Given no reason as to delay

I put in my order a little before 6:00 p.m. and scheduled a delivery timeslot for 7:45pm and it arrived at 8pm. Still delicious food and would still order again just a bit pointless to schedule a time when it doesn't come when asked.

AVOID. We called up after the estimated delivery time (1 hour 10 mins) at half 9 at night to be told the food had not been prepared and they can’t fulfil our order. The lady then said the food order would be cancelled and I then had to call back to be told we had to go through just eat to get a refund.

Was quoted 1 hour wait from ordering for food to be delivered but then was late, complained and was told would be another 15mins, then was another 20 mins. When requested some money back was told no as they were 'busier than normal'. Shame as the food wasn't bad but ruined the experience. Would be better to quote longer if busy, then we could expect and plan around it, or order at another time.

We made are order at 6.10pm it was meant to be an hour. It turned up at 7.45pm and it was cold called up master chef they was very rude on the phone but finally agreed on them to re cook are order.For us to collect when we got there they hadn’t even re cooked are order. They said we will re delivery but we waited a further 25 mins at there shop.we will not be ordering from here again It was a shambles !
