Massalla Hut in Havant

Just ordered a chicken phall (my go to Indian from anywhere) from here asked them to make it as hot as they could and they really did! It was amazing! Will order again!

The food we had delivered was honestly the best Indian takeaway I have ever experienced. Perfection!

The massala hut is probably the best Indian takeaway in Waterlooville and the surroundings area. Iv been using them for the last 20 years. The food is tasty , hot and extremely reasonably price for the quality you receive.

This is the second time I've ordered from here, the quality is great and the service from the staff is brilliant, highly recommended!

The food was absolutely amazing and so much of it, nice and spicy but not to hot, really enjoyed it and will definitely order again.

I had an issue and sent message to just eat as my £10 off voucher did not work, following this I ordered without any money off at 18:30 the deliver time said 55-60 minutes after ordering my delivery changed to 19:55 - 20:15 and didnt arrive til 20:45

Prawn starter inedible, prawn korma over cooked, lack of flavour throughout, including the nan breads

Meat was overcooked, potatoes undercooked, sag paneer was cold, coke cans were hot from being sat in direct contact with hot food. That’s everything ordered having something wrong with it! That with waiting 2 hours for delivery! Never again

Having lived in Waterlooville for the last 15 years, we’ve tried a number of take away curry houses. But it took us 14 years to find the best one, ever. The prices are reasonable, the portions are big and the taste is A-mazing. To top it all, each delivery comes with a few extras. Can’t rate this place and the people, high enough. My hubby usually has lamb bhuna, while I tend to go for king prawn madras/dupiaza. Their prawns are something else. Full of flavour and BIG!

Always great food from here. This has become a firm favourite in our household. The dishes are prepared fresh and are piping hot. Great taste and great value.

so we were going to have a nice family dinner so ordered a Indian and an hour past so we got a bit concerned therefore called up the restaurant and they said that it had got sent out by a bloke. The next 45minutes go by still no sign of any Indian food. therefore, call up again and they say we have no trace of your order for a good five minutes then suddenly say that they have it and have had it for the past two hours and have just been too lazy to send it out. what a shocking experience. We had to leave our familys house as we had important things to do. The place did not offer a refund,

So I've been eating here for years great food but last weekend they forgot to put part of my food order in I phone to let them know I went in tonight Friday 24th for food remind them about last weekend ordered my food and they charged me full price I was a very disappointed

Fancied some Samosa's so ordered a portion each of vegetable and meat. Delicious. Also love the fact you can see straight through to the kitchen. Will definitely look to go and buy my takeaway from Massalla Hut in future.

We waited 4 hours for delivery, we phoned & were told the driver would be contacted, so you can imagine the food wasn’t hot when it eventually arrived and not enjoyable, who wants to eat their dinner at gone 11pm when ordered at 7pm.

2 hours late! Was told it was out for delivery twice (half an hour apart) and that it would turn up hot, that was a joke! Normally a fan but very let down tonight.

Been using Massalla Hut for years and years. Always consistently good quality and value food. Chicken Tikka Dhansak and Mixed Jalzrefi our favourites.

Great service, good always delicious. Will do home delivery if you prefer. They prefer cash which is fine as we all know businesses pay for using card machines.

delicious, loved it, first time I believe, and everything was spot on , onion raitha came with poppadoms as an unexpected bonus,and the raitha itself was in a huge pot👍 loved it.

The food was not that great, a little disappointed, the korma and the madras sauce was thick and tasted like it had to much curry powder. It tasted more like a paste than anything. Madras wasn’t really that spicy. The naan bread we ordered tasted like flour. The egg fried rice was good and the popedoms were good but all in all not great. Sorry but we would not order from here again

Wrong dish delivered. Called me as mine had obviously been delivered elsewhere but wouldn't change as I had already started to dish mine up. Not happy, had to give it to the dog as it was sweet and not to my taste at all. On the plus side my partner enjoyed her lamb tikka masala.

It was stone cold, must have loads of deliveries with one driver for it to be stone cold. Tasted OK but not anything on the shalimar so will forgo the delivery option next time and go back there.

I accidentally ordered a madras to go with my biriyani but wanted just the normal veg sauce but for some reason on just eat app it didn’t give this option. Was still editable just really hot and not the restaurants fault. Just won’t order biriyani from here again

First time using Massalla Hut. They will now be our first-to take away. The food was hot and delicious. A friendly delivery guy as well. Well worth the 5 stars.

We’ve been using this place since we moved here and never been disappointed until now. As usual it was delivered after about one and half hours after ordering it. Usually half an hour later than estimated. The madras wasn’t even half full in the container. It was not a great choice and bland. The onion bahjis were missing. The patia again didn’t come up anywhere near in the container. Overall very disappointing as always had really good food from here.

It's an OK restaurant , they are open on Xmas and boxing day , the food is good but not the best , I will buy from thim as a last resort .

Absolutely dire, twice we've been here and both times completely ignored, clearly don't want the business, waited 20 mins the first time to be served and 10.mins this time and they couldn't be bothered to say anything despite us and another customer asking, just looked at us blankly. Won't ever use again

Really delicious food and good value too. I had a veg korma and my husband had a chicken tikka masala. Would definitely order again. The only thing we weren't keen on was the garlic naan bread as it has chunks of garlic on which was a bit strong and crunchy but everything else was delicious. we even got free poppadoms, mango & mint! Would recommend.

One of the best Indian take away restaurant. We have tried it several times. The staff is very friendly. The chicken biryani was delicious and the Peshawari chicken was so coconuty and creamy.. They also gave us free Samosas. Thank you guys for always being so kind to us. They give 20% discount on Sundays.

Went in to grab this and was met with the friendliest staff! The food was delicious too: lots of flavour and great portion sizes. A hit with the whole family. Bit skeptical to get an Indian usually as I am Asian and very picky - but this was great. Happy.
