Massala in North West Leicestershire

Very tasty, best Indian takeaway local to Ibstock in our opinion. We had one on Friday and another tonight!!! :-) Quick delivery and the food way hot.

We’ve been trying various Indian takeaways in and around Ashby since we moved here over 12 months ago. This is the very very best by a country mile! Lots of choice and every dish was full of the main ingredient (meat etc). Will most definitely be ordering again very soon. Well done and Thank You

Living in Leicestershire we are spoiled with Indian Cuisine. My friends and I have been Chilli N Spices devotees for many years. I tried Massala some time ago when it was bought by the current owners and now, this is THE ONLY place we will order Indian takeout from. The food is the best I have ever tasted from from any takeaway (and eating in... other than Gandi's many moons ago in Market Bosworth). I picked our order up on Saturday as we had friends over ours and the guys who gave us our food highlighted recommendations in their takeaway menus based on my last few orders (2 in a week, don't judge me!) so I will certainly be trying something new next time.

Take away is always hot and on time. Indian food from here is fantastic, competitive prices compared to my local town. We have had all different dishes and every one has been fantastic. A good example of a curry house. Thanks.

What a joke and run by cowboys!!! Place is never open, only open the doors when they feel like it which obviously isn't good for business if they can call it a business. When they are open there just eats ordering system is always off, and when I did get my food this once there was no keema meat in my keema naan. 10/10 for total failure.

Ordered the food and eta was 9:10. It was a little late but i must say this was the best experience i have ever had from a takeaway service. The chap rang me at 8:45 to explain and apologise the food would be 25 minutes later than stated. I was extremely appreciatative of his call. Under the circumstances of whats going on in the world we need to be understanding. And even if the food was awful i would still have been satisfied. My gosh the food was amazing. My first time here and it definitely wont be my last incredible service and absolutely fantastic fresh food. 5 star service. Definitely recommend.

I was told how excellent the food and service was from Massala, we decided to have a punt. We studied the menu and found it hard to choose so we had a mains, three starters, rice and chips. All of the food was fresh hot and delicious. We decided on a selection so that we could have try of a few different flavours. All 10/10.

Very disappointed. We ordered food which had a one hour wait time....after 90 minutes we chased to be told that the order wasn't even in the queue.

Tried our first takeaway this weekend and will definitely be going back. Varied and reasonably priced menu. Friendly service and the food when it arrived was amazing, really fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

Just had our first takeaway from Massala, it was lovely, the poppadoms are out of this world. Good price and friendly service. Will definitely be back for more.
