From the warm welcome to the food this place really hits the spot. Boe and his team can't do enough for you. Nothing is to much trouble, portions are very generous and price point is excellent. Ibstock really has a gem of a restaurant. If you are in the area Bombay Bistro will not disappoint.

Great food, piping hot and very tasty.

Delivered 15 mins later that latest time stated in the delivery slot. But notified it was with driver over half an hour before it arrived. It’s a 10min drive. Consequently the food was all cold. Really disappointed.

We are staying locally at Pinewood lodge, we decided to order takeaway from here, the customer service is excellent, food was fabulous with very generous portions, we had the set meal for two, food was delivered super quick and was piping hot, highly recommended 👍

We had the takeaway and it was one of the best we have had. The delivery time was excellent and the food was red hot. Excellent value for money and a great menu to pick from.

I have ordered a number of takeaways recently all have been of an excellent quality. Food is always on time, cooked to perfection and is always at the correct temperature. I would recommend this restaurant for a takeaway or a sit down meal. All of the staff are polite and friendly.

The restaurant paid attention to my notes requesting mushrooms in my Madras (not vegetables) and it was one of the best Mushroom Madras curries that I've ever tasted. My husband's Patia was equally delicious. As were the naans, rice and poppadoms & pickles. It was delivered on time, by a nice, friendly guy. Top marks all round. We will be ordering again!

The food was piping hot and I was surprised to get 2 popadoms which for 1 meal is good. Also I ordered the cheese & garlic naan and it actually had cheese on it this time.

Where to start… Food was lukewarm, chicken was chewy and gristly. Sauce was bland with no flavour and the chips were still crunchy.

Chips uncooked poppadoms soft and soggy. Ordered garlic nan got garlic and cheese. Very poor.

Probably the worst curry I've had. Delivery took an hour and a half and food was luke warm. Ordered 2 different curry's both tasted the same only a different colour very bland with no taste or spice. Will not be ordering from there again. Very disappointed.

Great food alittle late but not a problem.

Ordered a takeaway form here tonight. It advertised a 45min waiting time, but I was instantly told it would be 60 mins - I could cope with this. BUT, here I am. 50 minutes AFTER the delayed time (so 110minutes in total) and the food has JUST arrived Couldn’t cancel, as I rang 53 times without an answer!!! VERY poor

I recently ordered from Bombay Bistro via Deliveroo. Ordering was easy and the food arrived quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals although the vegetable samosas were a bit on the spicy side which was fine for me but none else could eat them so be warned! I’ll definitely be ordering from Bombay Bistro again though!

Been here 3 weekends on the bounce now. Lamb was cooked to perfection melted in your mouth and the bombay aloo was amazing also! See you next week

We have had 2 take always from Bombay Bistro I’m recent weeks and both have been really good. My wife doesn’t eat spicy food and the Chicken, chips and salad from the ‘English’ menu is very nice. The Indian cuisine is well cooked and authentic and always hot. Would recommend and will be back.

Delivery is often at least 40 minutes later than stated and cold. Would think twice before ordering again, especially on a Saturday.

I had to call the restaurant 3 times, food was delivered an hour late and even though I was assured it would be hot it was stone cold, was offered to be sent another meal that would be 30 minutes. Decided to bin the food and cook are own as had lost all faith in the food being delivered in 30 minutes and I informed the gentleman on the phone that I would not be placing another order with them again. I require a full refund as the service was a complete joke, food had clearly been sat in the delivery vehicle for a long time. I had got a message at 7.02 that food was on it way, we are 5 minutes away from the restaurant. In the end I actually believe this order went over the hour mark. I will be rasing a claim with Paypal if just eat dont rectify this.

Really bad. First it was late. The food (£80 order), all of it tasteless. 90% of it went into the bin. Wont be ordering again! How is this 5* rating.

Superb takeaway, our first, but definitely not our last. Had dinner for 5 with starters all different meals, delivered exactly on time.

Absolutely beautiful food, I ask for my Dansak to be cooked in less oil (I am on the Slimming World diet), which they happily do. It tasted divine and my partner loved his food too.

A small restaurant so book in advance, i have not had a take away but, by all accunts, thes is also top notch. There is free parking across the road, the food is excellent. Every time we have been, ive tried something different and never been disappointed. The staff are extremely attentive. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The food is always very good and the staff are always very friendly. I've had soft lamb dishes where the lamb isn't quite as flavoursome, but otherwise they are always spot on.

If you want a GREAT Indian meal, that is served by GREAT happy staff and then this is the place, reasonably priced and has a free car park across the road, GREAT takeaway aswell

Lovely food, ordered bengal butter chicken and garlic fried rice both not too hot that you had too leave to cool and not too cold, they were just right. Only downside was that the onion pot looked like it had been sat for awhile but other than that it was perfect

I love Bombay they are always so generous, I always find a little something extra even if I haven't ordered in a long time, and they always seem to remember what little extras I like! The foods always tasty and fresh, clearly lots of love gone into each dish. Delivery was bang on time too, not a minute out!! Man who delivered was also very kind. Thanks Bombay!

First meal ordered tonight. The lamb biryini was delicious, my chicken naga delicious, chicken pasanda also delicious. I asked for a vindaloo sauce and rice for my son with mnd,it was superb. To deliver on time was also exceptional. Absolutely impressed. Thankyou also for the added poppadoms and pickles. Will definitely be using this place again.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal at Bombay Bistro in Ibstock tonight. Service was brilliant, we felt very welcome and were looked after so well by all the staff.
