Another fantastic curry from Massala. Delivered on time, hot and tasty. The poppadoms are crisp and the portions are generous. Thanks!

Nice food. The only thing I’d say is that the batter on the chicken pakora was too thick and the chicken was of the tiniest piece. Make less and make bigger with a side of hot sauce to accompany it.

Estimated over an hour for delivery and was here within 30 mins! Amazing, tasty and good portion sizes. Thank you 😊

Food was excellent. Really enjoyed it. I’m quite regular with this place on n off between another one too and I can safely say that, Massala is very consistent with delivering decent flavours and good food.

Half of the order was missing and I got insulted with a ridiculous offer of a 1 pound refund! By the time eat of our food come it was cold. Would Never order there again

The prawn bhuna was pretty flavourless and the mushroom bahji was a little undercooked for me but the paratha was nice.

I think the ice cream was lovely just too expensive for the size. And as it was not home made and probably came from a multi pack. £1.50 is a more suitable price for how small it is.

The food was good, but wasn't that hot by the time it arrived. My main issue was with the delivery, on the ordering page it estimated 35-50 mins but as soon as i checked out the time frame it gave for delivery was about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 35 which was a massive change. I would not have ordered if i knew the delivery time was going to be that long. The order was then even later than that, arriving around 1 hour 55 min after i ordered, very dissapointing.

This time around, the driver was not careful enough to tighten the bag so as to avoid a little oil (from the Bhuna sauce) from spilling onto the other container below it.

Food arrived 1 hour late hence the food was cold however its a very big let down as it seemed it had potential spice level was good but I couldn’t enjoy it unfortunately the chicken had gone cold. So on this occasion i can not recommend to order i will give them another chance down the road maybe.

So disappointing! A waste of 30 quid. I got the very same dishes last week, and it was outstanding. Tonight it was terrible. Tasteless, oily and Luke warm. Literally like night and day for difference in quality. Clearly inconsistent and a gamble each time, so won’t be coming again unfortunately.

Very nice indeed. Ten out of ten for taste and portion size. Only neg is that food wasn’t quite hot enough. That said, we all really enjoyed it. Will buy again definitely.

Slow delivery, forgot the two naan breads we ordered, food was cold.

The main meals were great but the appetisers and extras were overcooked. The onion bhajis were really hard to eat and the chapati was slightly hard too.

The food was excellent and good for money and will order again.

Really shocked how poor the food was. Very salty, too much tomatoes leading to a somewhat bitter taste. No idea why the food was so poor and I would like an answer. Not impressed and sincerly disappointed.

We got the food two hours after we ordered it after several calls to the restaurant. It seems the driver couldn't understand the concept of house numbers and flat numbers and had delivered our food to a complete stranger at a different address. The Just Eat app also didn't work as normal, so we weren't aware of this - it kept just saying he was on his way. The restaurant were very nice and communicative and made the food again, but the grilled lamb was very tough and, while the flavours in general were good, it wasn't special enough to inspire us for the huge party order next Wednesday for which this was a test run. We'll be taking that business elsewhere.

Masala is now our favourite local takeaway. The Naga lamb, aubergine bhaji and bindi bhaji were all delicious. The mutter paneer wasn't as good as the other dishes, so will just avoid that one dish next time. Thank you!

I've used this restaurant for over 20 years, it's a family favourite. The food is always fresh and delicious, it will always be my go to, (even when I'm home alone 😆)

i can`t complain on massala restaurant their foods is delicious on time but their aurbergine curry was less, anyway it is very tasty good cooking massala.

As someone who doesn't eat dairy it was so helpful having all of the dishes labelled with whether they include it or not. We've struggled to find somewhere near us that does & Massala was great! Super tasty food, not too oily, and friendly+helpful service from the restaurant

First time using Masala & “seasoned” authentic Indian Food people… we were impressed with the meal ; fresh, delicious food. Only thing was arrived warm & had to reheat some dishes but this a small thing really! Thank you

Food is normally good, it was a bit cold this time though.

The dansak was not oily like curries at some places but was so so sweet and over flavoured. I'm struggling to find a good enjoyable curry anywhere these days.

Food this time wasn’t up to usual taste standard unfortunately. I guess it depends on the chef and if it’s really busy or not. I’ve been a Reasonably regular customer who usually spends an average of £35 each time. I asked for a poppodom on the house and didn’t get one lol. Seems a bit tight imo. So many decent alternative places to buy from so I’ll keep shopping around.
