Dishoom Shoreditch in Hackney

Reservamos una mesa para 2 pero también teníamos nuestro cachorro, Hendrix, con nosotros, así que tuvimos una corta espera para sentarse fuera en la terraza. Era un hermoso día soleado, así que sentarse afuera era realmente preferible. Pedimos una regular y una virgen sangrienta - Dios María, junto con el luchador naan y tortilla Parsi. Todo fue servido rápidamente, con poca espera. La comida era deliciosa, como siempre, y las bebidas refrescantes en una mañana cálida. Gran servicio amable también. Lo recomendaría a fondo!

Aunque no es su casa de curry tradicional, visitamos Dishoom para un almuerzo en equipo a principios de este mes y lo pasamos muy bien. La decoración era encantadora y única, creando un ambiente elegante y acogedor. Optamos por el banquete del almuerzo, que era una manera fantástica de probar una variedad de platos. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, y los tamaños de las porciones eran enormes — definitivamente gran valor para un grupo. ¡Todos se fueron llenos y felices! Recomiendo encarecidamente Dishoom tanto para la comida como para la experiencia general.

Vinimos a desayunar en nuestro aniversario de bodas y no podía faltar! Fantástica comida, fantástico servicio... una mención especial a Oliver el gerente que vino y conversó con nosotros y era muy cálido y hospitalario! Nos encantó nuestra experiencia y no puedo esperar a volver!

This place was fantastic! I concur with Reddit crowd. Very tasty. The black daal roasted for 24 hours was so incredibly tasty! The okra fries were YUM YUM! Everything we had was delicious! The ambiance was adorable. The music added to the scene. They even relocated the incense when I asked, as it was literally right next to me and made it difficult to enjoy breathing.

Amazing experience all around! There was a 35 min queue but the staff handed out multiple free small beverages while we waited. The food was some of the best Indian food we have ever had and the staff were so nice. The ambiance was bustling yet cozy. Really transports you to Bombay

Just go. ✨ After the first time I went I thought to myself, “that was the best I’ve had outside of India” (I had the black lentils). When I went back (three days later because I couldn’t stop thinking about it), I said to myself, “that was the best Indian food I’ve *ever* had (ordered the prawn special). I feel high it was so good. I was dancing in my chair. Just go. Spectacular vibe, VERY friendly staff. 11/10.

We were very surprised because normally Indian food is very spicy, but that was not the case here. Everything was very good! And nothing spicy unless you wanted to.

Very attentive and caring service. I am a coeliac and they catered as best they could and made me feel very secure. The 100% gluten free options are limited but lovely.

Missed this place so much. The naan rolls are so delicious! The chilli jam and coriander elevate it to the next level. The bottomless chai also never disappoints. Service was exceptional too. Thanks for continuing to do such an amazing job. Can you please open a restaurant in Melbourne Australia so we don't have to wait 8 years to visit? You would do so well in Aus!!

You should really chai it! It’s very good.

The food was very well prepared and the house chai is a perfect pair. We tried the chicken curry, gunpowder potatoes, chili chicken, and naan. It was very good, and there are seemingly unlimited options to choose from on the menu for future visits. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and fun.

10/10 great food and staff. Location was good, plenty of seating and was offered outside or inside. The outside is a covered outdoor eating area with fully furnishings. Food was amazing Booked for 5pm and when we left it had a lot of people waiting outside. I suggest booking ahead. Toilets super clean too

Don’t skip the Bacon Naan Roll if you’re there for breakfast—hands down one of the best in London. Service was thoughtful and well-paced. Staff checked in without hovering, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The chai refills were a cozy bonus. Dishoom blends flavour, atmosphere, and hospitality effortlessly. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this place is absolutely worth the queue.

Amazing ! Some plates are very spicy but délicious

Splendid lunch with my colleagues at Dishoom in Shoreditch. Attention to detail across the board from the excellent service, lovely veranda, and of course the amazing nosh. Dishes are meant to be shared - we tried the okra fries, lamb samosas, special prawn dish (incredible flavor), special lamb daal, and the ruby chicken. Accompaniments included cheese naan bread, rice, and three different styles of side sauce (spicy, fresh/herbal, and sweet). Highly recommend!

Have been eating at Dishoom since 2019.. tried their different outlets in London, Manchester, Brighton but this was my first visit to Shoredirch outlet... As usual like any Dishoom outlet it's busy even on weekdays... Long waiting queue, thankfully I had a booking... Snacks, unusual cocktails and Indian dinner is what you go to Dishoom for... Enjoyed their snacks and dinner as always but somehow the cocktails were just ok this time ...

Fantastic food, the raving reviews we’ve seen before the trip proved reliable. Ordered the mutton fry, chicken ruby, biriyani, okra fries, and naans. The mutton and the okra fries are the top two. Okra fries were so good you can just order a big bowl and binge eat it. Will definitely return to try their other dishes as well the next time I’m back in London!

The server we had was so lovely with us, and brought my girlfriend and her twin brother birthday dessert on the house. The food was great, and menu explained with care to us. Long wait to get in for a walk in, but it was well worth it.

Not as good as other dishooms we’ve been too. Food overall was good, but mixed across dishes. We sat outdoors and the ambience took a big hit compared to main restaurant.
