Very good restaurant! Since reservations aren't possible, expect a wait of 1-1.5 hours. While you wait, complimentary drinks are served, and you can continue ordering. Once you arrive at your table, you can choose from a wide range of traditional dishes. Although the restaurant is very busy, you never feel left alone by the waiters, and there are plenty of servers on hand. The food doesn't arrive all at once, but one after the other when it's ready, and it's very, very tasty. We ordered about two dishes per person, plus naan and rice. In summary, it was a very good evening with very good food.

For a relaxed breakfast out in the sun room, this is the Dishoom to be at. Due to our fondness for Shoreditch, this might be our favorite Dishoom. Come as early as possible in order to score comfy couch seating with no wait. Otherwise, there will be a wait. If you come for dinner, make reservations ahead of time.

Lovely spot, the veranda atmosphere is especially nice. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I've honestly never had chicken as tender as that of the chicken ruby. Biriyani was also a delight. Great cocktails. Best meal I've had in London so far, price wasn't bad for quality and quantity!

Great food - loud, very warm atmosphere We waited about an hour and a half to get a table for 7. We were put off twice, saying we were supposed to wait 5 minutes, but it actually took 10 minutes each time. Okay, that happens. The food was delicious and arrived promptly after ordering. However, that was also the point at which we last saw the waiter. We waited 25 minutes for the Mango Lassie we ordered later. So, the service could be improved.

Really amazing service at Shoreditch!

First Indian restaurant where you have to pay for plain (tastless) rice for your curry. Very loud location and you have to wait 40mins to get a table. Prices to high for small portions and mediocre taste.

Wait was quick but definitely worth it. Food was incredible and so was the service and the vibes. So many different options and flavors - will definitely be back!

Greenhouse seating area is extremely stuffy. No ceiling fans, no ventilation, and musty old fabric couches. Food is good, perhaps visit another chain location if you don't want to feel like you're actually in Kolkata.

Terrific place for breakfast. Food is excellent, service is pleasant and attentive. Interior design is uniquely rustic. Like a trip in time to Mumbai of old.

My server was the best! Super kind and helpful with the menu and even brought me a taster of the chicken curry. Now I know i have to order a full order next time! It was spectacular! Cannot wait to come back!

Waited over an hour to get a seat at the bar while waiting for a table... ordered drinks and starters. The glasses all had to be returned as they were dirty with lipstick on them when they arrived, the popadums are chips and not real poppadums... etc... we paid and left because the whole thing was very unpleasant...

Era un hermoso día soleado, así que sentarse afuera era realmente preferible. Pedimos una regular y una virgen sangrienta - Dios María, junto con el luchador naan y tortilla Parsi. Amazing experience all around! There was a 35 min queue but the staff handed out multiple free small beverages while we waited. The food was some of the best Indian food we have ever had and the staff were so nice. The ambiance was bustling yet cozy. Really transports you to Bombay

This place was fantastic! I concur with Reddit crowd. Very tasty. The black daal roasted for 24 hours was so incredibly tasty! The okra fries were YUM YUM! Everything we had was delicious! The ambiance was adorable. The music added to the scene. They even relocated the incense when I asked, as it was literally right next to me and made it difficult to enjoy breathing.

Just go. ✨ After the first time I went I thought to myself, “that was the best I’ve had outside of India” (I had the black lentils). When I went back (three days later because I couldn’t stop thinking about it), I said to myself, “that was the best Indian food I’ve *ever* had (ordered the prawn special). I feel high it was so good. I was dancing in my chair. Just go. Spectacular vibe, VERY friendly staff. 11/10.
