My favourite restaurant in London. If you love Indian cuisine, and like to try things other than curries, then you must try this! A huge variety of food and drink to choose from (try the black dahl!), exceptional service, great atmosphere (this Dishoom is our favourite out of the 7) and very reasonably priced. Need to try the breakfast menu too!

You never cease to amaze me at this restaurant! The food, the vibe, the bloody beautiful music and the always absolutely splendid customer service! Thank you as always for making London a much vibrant, tastier and diverse city. Best restaurant in London, hands down!

Came here for late lunch. Curries and side dishes were good. £19 for a portion of lamb chops, with 2 smallish pieces of meat is a complete ripoff. Service was average. Was interrupted by three different staff asking if everything was okay.

The food a service was an amazing! The flavors were crazy just make sure you bring enough people so that you can try a ton of different dishes!

This place is epic overall but the breakfast is next level. I bring all my family and friends whenever they visiting and pop in when I want to treat myself.

We waited in line for almost an hour. The staff is very nice and was treating everyone in line with complementary chai, mint tea and cherry wine. The food was delicious and fresh. I would come back again if not the long wait.

Incredible food and atmosphere!

I came back to Dishoom for my birthday breakfast and was overwhelmed by how incredible the food was ! 1. We had the wrestlers naan which is extremely generous in portion size and the flavour honestly out of this world 2. We also ordered the eggs on toast which was an interesting dish to try 3. The bacon and masala beans are a must have side. The staff were also super kind and gave us a birthday card and dishoom key that I am so excited to use on more breakfast visits !! However I do not recommend the main meals for lunch and dinner - the Indian in me strongly disagrees. Dear Dishoom, please start an only breakfast Dishoom shop in the city I love the customer service and I love the decorations and aesthetic appeal of the restaurant and the generosity (food and flavour and birthday card) on my birthday was something I will never forget !

Polite and attentive staff (apart from the grumpy maitre d’ but it was Sunday am after all). Friends had the naan breakfasts and I had the Keema with chopped chicken liver. Keema was fantastic and furnished with bottomless chai, I went away a happy customer. Can’t say much about the masala baked beans side though. Keema was good and rich with spice flavours. It’s always a good sign when you find whole spices in your dish..... you know they are cooking the way it should be done

I visited Dishoom with a group of friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was great. All the staff were friendly and all wished my friend birthday, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat which we shared on Dishoom. Half eaten before we even recommended to take a photo. 😋 I would highly recommend Dishoom Shoreditch to others. Thank you!!

Great service and a great experience.

This was my third time dining at Dishoom, and while the food quality remains consistent, I was very disappointed by the service during my recent visit. My phone was critically low on battery, and I politely asked if I could charge it, explaining the urgency of the situation. I hardly ever ask to charge my phone in a restaurant, but this was an emergency. My request was declined due to the restaurant’s policy. While I understand the need for rules, a degree of flexibility and empathy is essential in situations like this. When it came time to settle the bill, we were provided with a QR code for online payment—ironically requiring the phone I was unable to charge. No alternatives were offered, and the staff seemed completely disengaged, chatting amongst themselves rather than assisting us. Even as we were leaving, they continued chatting loudly, offering no acknowledgment or confirmation that our payment had been processed correctly, leaving us unsure. While the food remains consistent, the lack of attentiveness, empathy, and professionalism from the staff was disappointing. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected much better customer care and service.

Very tasty food. Significantly better than most of what you are used to at Indian restaurants in Berlin. However, the selection of vegetarian dishes is very limited and leaves a lot of room for improvement. If you want to eat here you shouldn't be a vegetarian. But the food that is served is really, really good. However, I found the distance to the other tables a bit small.

I had a blood merry for 7£ but it worthless. It should cost £2.because of the amount of tomato juice and ice, I really regret to order something that should be great and nice to drink but it was too expensive for the 100 ml of tomato tomato juice

Après avoir tant entendu parlé de cette adresse, j’ai enfin pu découvrir l’univers Dishoom! Je n’ai pas eu à faire la queue et nous avons pu être placé très vite, en arrivant sur les coup de 11h45 un samedi. Le lieu est immense, si bien décoré aux couleurs de l’Inde. Nous nous sentons baignés dans un autre univers, celui de Bombay! La carte est dense qu’il est difficile de faire un choix, nous avons fini par se décider sur le samousa agneau (bon mais manquait d’un petit quelque chose en plus), puri (très moyen, et ce n’est pas le puri que je connais), palaak végétarien (delicieux!) et le roll chicken (incroyable, le poulet était si tendre). J’étais inquiète des critiques autour du bruit mais nous avons eu de la chance et avons été placé dans un coin calme. Le service est particulièrement efficace et rapide, et nous avons été très bien accueillis, merci pour cette expérience réussie!

Brilliant service and incredible food as ever

The food was good and the service and atmosphere was exceptional. A big shoutout to Dan and Pedro. Dan accommodated our seating request as soon as an opening came up and Pedro's smiling service was top-notch. The experience justified the long wait.

Every few months I like to go to Dishoom for a solo brekky date with a book. It always feels like such a treat. I appreciate that I'm not made to feel weird being on my own/ rushed to give another party my table. The staff is always super respectful and hospitable and the food is always delicious (I'm a woman of habit, I always order the same thing and it never disappoints). Thanks for being wonderful!
