I was really excited because I heard that the best thing in London is curry. As someone who has also been to India... I liked Agra, Korea better 😂 The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great!

Get over Dishoom. Food is good but not great. Vibe is fun but loud. Far better indians around. Maybe not as trendy though

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday, absolutely marvellous food, amazing service and a very cool restaurant. Would recommend for any occasion!

Flavourful and delicious food. We ordered few bits and my favourite was the lamb chops - for 2 chops it’s quite pricey, but the flavour and cook was worth it. The chicken Biryani and tikka were good too, while the warm aubergine chutney is a must. Lamb sheesh were ok, samosa is nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Chili chocolate for dessert which was a nice finish.

I'm a very picky person and I don't like trying new things. But this place was fantastic. Waitress helped me pick something that fit me and how picky I am. And it was amazing. Definitely will return.

5 stars. It says it all. The Chai Tea blew my mind—it was delicious! And I loved that they kept coming back and refilling it. The food was so good, filling, and satisfying! We had a Big Bombay (an Indian revisitation of the English breakfast), Kejriwal with extra bacon (so cheesy and tasty), and fire bread (lovely jams tickling my palate made with a combination of spices and fruit). The staff is welcoming, attentive without being suffocating, kind and skilled. Lastly, the entire venue has a vintage, cosy vibe, and the bathroom was clean and beautifully decorated! We paid 50£ ca in 2. Do not miss the chance to check out this treasure while in London!

We had an amazing lunch at Dishoom Shoreditch today. The food was fantastic, and Dimo’s service was exceptional—he went above and beyond for us. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

The restaurant is very busy. We came with no reservation and waited willingly to get a table, based on the good recommendations. They brought tea outside while waiting, which was nice. At the door they also ask about allergies. While waiting you sea a little cozy space with lovely interior. When you then actually enter, it’s a very basic, loud room with bare minimum. Drinks out of silvercups. The Cocktail I had was good, but glass sticky from previous drink. Everything - even when not explicitly written - is spicy up to unbearable. I had paneer, which was a tasty consistency but for a person you can handle little spice only, almost impossible to eat. Rice and Naan in dishes is not included. 3-4 pieces of Naan are 5£ !! My boyfriend ordered meat and vegetables, veggies were just greasy and not even salted. Little options for vegetarians, they have apparently a vegan option, that was not presented. They informed about day specials but actually they were out of them. Everything is out for most profit and atmosphere is getting quickly rushed through the evening to serve more customers. Support small local businesses!! Question the hype a bit more!

Big dissapointment. Food quality is average even putting a side that it is quite over-priced compared to other similar places in London.

Must try the Keema Pav here and the Pistachio Kulfi. Generally the place is crowded and needs a reservation. So, book ahead and satisfy your Indian food craving.

There was a 40min wait but the grilled chicken I had was incredible. Extremely juicy and flavorful. The ambiance inside is comforting yet lively.

Wow, this was one of the best diner experiences i’ve ever had. My dad and I celebrated my birthday tonight and they totally spoiled us!!! The best Indian cooks ever and the service by Ruben, Azzie and Monsie made our night!!! As cherry on top we saw them giving free chai to the people waiting in line outside. 10/10 Experience, highly recommend:)

Having eaten great Indian food across the world, I was really looking forward to this highly rated offering in London. Unfortunately each dish was a major disappointment except for the simple fried okra. Strong smelling spices were used to the point that I have been unable to get the smell off my hands despite scrubbing with soap multiple times. I’m someone that enjoys spicy foods, but these sauces weren’t spicy, just pungent. While the meat was tolerable, the chefs special prawn dish was simply bland. Two of the dishes came with a side of raw red onions. At this point the chef isn’t even trying. Even the deserts were mediocre. I really can’t believe the hype this place gets, there are far superior Indian restaurants probably down your high street. Very disappointing.

Food is great. I usually go with a friend who eats vegan, and I'm a meat eater. Last time I went, I got grief over the dog on the terrace so that left a bag taste.

Best breakfast and the most attentive staff

I love Dishoom and usually have great experiences there, but I can only give 3 stars for service this time due to a disappointing encounter last weekend. The girl at the entrance (short and red haired) didn’t even make eye contact with us and directed us downstairs to a dark corner table, even though the restaurant was nearly empty and there were plenty of tables available upstairs. The environment downstairs felt isolating, and my sister started to feel really anxious. Thankfully, the waiter was understanding and allowed us to move to a better table with more light. While this helped, the initial treatment left a negative impression.

After great anticipation of our target breakfast from Q4 2024 the Dishoom experience was everything I anticipated it to be and more!! the chocolate chai latte was absolutely to die for and if it could be bottled for daily consumption i would highly recommend it.

Epic lunch for five colleagues to celebrate achievements of 2024

Dishoom never disappoints. We had a delicious feast of so many flavors. Everyone left happy and full. Recommend chicken ruby and samosas!

Arrived on a rainy Sunday afternoon , Warm reception at the entrance , shown to our table , Treated by the waitress as I don’t care much about you two kind of service. Menus thrown together with drinks menu , water ordered. Never asked whether we needed help navigating the menu. Never informed the monkfish was 86 until we ordered it , no recommendation was made. Dishes were dropped down Never came back to check if it was good or not Never came back to check if we needed more water , which we did Lamb shank was hard and tepid Jackfruit biriyani received instead of chicken, she never noticed it , when we told her she replied , really ? And she turned back Dessert was bellow standards , the ice flakes were more clumps than flakes. We asked her to clear the table , asked for the bill and she just said , scan the QR and pay please , when mentioned about the biriyani she ignored us . No thank you no good by by anyone

This restaurant is always a safe bet for extraordinary food and fast service. Staff is kind and fast and whatever you choose to eat you are guaranteed to enjoy it!

Dishoom Shoreditch never disappoints. Have visited the restaurant a few times during my London trips, and admittedly the warm& cosy vibe along with a very familiar menu, consistent quality of drinks and food, makes one really feel at home. Would highly recommend the place whether you are a Bombay (Indian) food enthusiast or a stranger to it.

One of the best servers I have had in any country & very honest

Absolutely perfect. The dishes are served within minutes, the curry and cheese naan's were delicious ! Special mention for the rose lasse which was really good. The waiter was kind and listening. I strongly recommend ! My compliment to the chef !

A lovely place to split meal with friends. The depth of flavour on everything was amazing. We were wowed from the very first bite.

Food was amazing however the staff serving us had a bit of a sour attitude which lowered the impression a bit. Overall good tho, will come back

The food was incredible, perfect and the waiter was the best, his name is Bruno, he advised us and took great care of us. He speaks several languages.

Bruno is wonderful, he speaks Spanish and he saved us because he recommended the best and we ate so delicious that I didn't even have time to take a photo. Thanks bruno you are the best
