Dishoom Shoreditch in Hackney

Dishoom never disappoints. We had a delicious feast of so many flavors. Everyone left happy and full. Recommend chicken ruby and samosas!

Arrived on a rainy Sunday afternoon , Warm reception at the entrance , shown to our table , Treated by the waitress as I don’t care much about you two kind of service. Menus thrown together with drinks menu , water ordered. Never asked whether we needed help navigating the menu. Never informed the monkfish was 86 until we ordered it , no recommendation was made. Dishes were dropped down Never came back to check if it was good or not Never came back to check if we needed more water , which we did Lamb shank was hard and tepid Jackfruit biriyani received instead of chicken, she never noticed it , when we told her she replied , really ? And she turned back Dessert was bellow standards , the ice flakes were more clumps than flakes. We asked her to clear the table , asked for the bill and she just said , scan the QR and pay please , when mentioned about the biriyani she ignored us . No thank you no good by by anyone

Amazing food (I have had food from all over the world) , friendly diverse staff, although super busy, are helpful & great at explaining the menu & providing tips & also good humour. London as a city has such an amazing array of worldwide delicious & exciting food. Thank you!

This restaurant is always a safe bet for extraordinary food and fast service. Staff is kind and fast and whatever you choose to eat you are guaranteed to enjoy it!

Dishoom Shoreditch never disappoints. Have visited the restaurant a few times during my London trips, and admittedly the warm& cosy vibe along with a very familiar menu, consistent quality of drinks and food, makes one really feel at home. Would highly recommend the place whether you are a Bombay (Indian) food enthusiast or a stranger to it.

Busy spot so there's a wait. The food is nice. The lamb shank is fantastic

Absolutely perfect. The dishes are served within minutes, the curry and cheese naan's were delicious ! Special mention for the rose lasse which was really good. The waiter was kind and listening. I strongly recommend ! My compliment to the chef !

Great staff, wonderful food and just an amazing experience. Even the wait for a table of about 40 minutes was a lovely experience, with complimentary drinks whilst queuing up and a seat at the bar about half way through the wait.

Food was amazing however the staff serving us had a bit of a sour attitude which lowered the impression a bit. Overall good tho, will come back

A lovely place to split meal with friends. The depth of flavour on everything was amazing. We were wowed from the very first bite.

Tried the breakfast. Keema & parsi omelette were pretty good.

The food was incredible, perfect and the waiter was the best, his name is Bruno, he advised us and took great care of us. He speaks several languages.

This was our first time at Dishoom. They say London has the best Indian food (well if u dont count India 😉) so we had to try it out. We ordered cheese naan, chefs shoreditch special, okra fries, some rice, lassi and another drink which i forgot the name of. I think we are quite weak LOL because that chefs special was a bit tóó spicy for us, so we couldn't finish the meal (we did try though). I guess we should have picked a standard chicken curry haha. The other dishes were good. We got ourselves an icecream (malai kulfi and pistachio kulfi) and those were delicious ✨️

Everyone was super nice!! Especially Dylan who served my friend and I. Amazing quality, it was my first time here and I’m so glad I went! Can’t wait to try more of their food 😊.

Phenomenal. Best food I've eaten anywhere in literal years. Do yourself a favor and just go. I wish I could add pictures, I ate everything with the gusto of the cookie monster.

Spotted a mouse in the outside seating area. Manager dealt with it very well - good customer service. Trust that it won’t happen again too as have been going here a few years with no issues.

Absolutely LOVED this place! All the people working here were so so nice and definitely added to the experience. Their house chai is the best chai I’ve ever tried and their food genuinely reminded me of food back home. Thanks a bunch Dishoom, we will be visiting again! 😁

Visiting London for a trip. I travel quite frequently and always explore cafes But the experience here was exceptional!!! The food being good as is, the service from the hosts were by far one of the finest I’ve experienced anywhere!! I’d highly recommend this place!

I would highly recommend this venue. The people are polite and attentive. The food is amazing and really flavoursome although quite spicy. It would be great to have non spicy foods. However I would avoid all the LASSI drinks. We ordered 3 different types of lassi and it tasted like water , even the mango lassi tasted like diluted water. I would avoid these drinks

We made a reservation for 5:30 which seemed like a good idea at 6 once we saw the huge line waiting outside. The food was very good although I wouldn’t say it blew my mind. We sat in the attached semi-outdoor area which isn’t quite as nice as indoors. The real outstanding thing was the service, which was extremely professional and friendly and helpful.

My favorite restaurant. I've been here probably 8 times in the past 6 months. This was my first introduction to Indian food and now it's my favorite cuisine. Everything about this place is awesome. Delicious food, perfect balance of traditional vs innovative, fantastic service, bottomless chai is fire, ambience is wonderful. Wish I could live in this restaurant. The outdoor area is particularly magical in my opinion. Don't skip out on breakfast!! The naan wraps are so good. I love the vegan sausage and tomato chutney Tbh the grilled stuff isn't my favorite but still worth a try. Can just be a tad dry

Beautiful place, pleasant atmosphere, very tasty food and excellent service. It was delicious and satisfying fun. One appetizer with a salad and a main dish for one person was more than enough.

My favourite restaurant in London. If you love Indian cuisine, and like to try things other than curries, then you must try this! A huge variety of food and drink to choose from (try the black dahl!), exceptional service, great atmosphere (this Dishoom is our favourite out of the 7) and very reasonably priced. Need to try the breakfast menu too!
