Beverages are very expensive. Food is reasonable priced. Tried the butter chicken and tandoori roti and it was amazing on that particular day.

Cannot speak more highly of this place. I have been here on a number of occasions, both before and after the recent change of management. Prior to the change it was great venue with really good food and a relaxed ambience for dinner, with the additional benefit of a great DJ at weekends. Staff were always accommodating and attentive to our needs. I didn't think the place could get better. HOWEVER, since the recent change in management, it has been elevated to a different level. On a recent visit, the food was simply the best we have ever had there and trumps most of other local venues for flavours and value for money. The chef and team really know what they're doing. The staff are all really invested in making sure you have a great time and I see this place going from strength to strength. Will definitely continue to be a regular here, despite the 40 minute drive from my house!!

Has this venue had a change of ownership. Always one of my favourite places to eat but they have changed the menu (digital only) and the choices seem to have increased in price. The staff lovely as ever but I feel a proper menu with pictures of the food would be advisable

Not what I expected! Arrived on a Friday night and was seated immediately. Drinks order was quick but that’s where it stopped! We could see our Starters going to a table near us and they were looking bemused that they hadn’t ordered anything! They sat there for a few mins and then were brought to us minus one that the wrong table had started eating. I told the server that we was missing one and they said there was no more. We then sat and waited for 3-4 mins for more to come out or someone to say something and then a different dish arrived. I called someone over who said we could have it on the house but it wasn’t what we ordered, no sorry or choose something else. Our mains were fairly tasty and the Nan breads were very tasty. We had to try and wave servers down to order drinks and when the bill arrived they tried charging us for the starter that was meant to be ‘on the house’! In the meantime there were handy men putting ladders up between tables whilst we were eating to sort out the disco lights, I went to the toilet and nearly fell over a screwdriver that was on the floor. Would it return, no as there are too many great places in Ruislip to put up with that poor service! I was really shocked at the poor service and standards.

I went to this restaurant with 9 friends and was completely surprised from the minute I arrived, the decor was stunning with a menu to match. It is not your basic Indian menu, it has so much variety and the food came out quickly and was delicious. They also had a great drinks menu and I loved the 2 4 1 cocktails, I will definitely be returning.

My friend and I visited Masala and Coal and had a wonderful time. We were served by Cle who was very welcoming and took our order quickly. He made us some delicious virgin passionfruit mocktails which went down a treat. I understand the venue is under new management and therefore the items on the menu have changed. There are now many more veggie choices. We ordered tandoori chaap, masala chips, dum veg biryani and spicy Singapore noodles. The tandoori chaap was definitely the star of the show. So much so that the chef made a kaati roll for me to take home for hubby. All the food was excellent. Compliments to the chef who also came out to see us and have a little chat. Definitely a little gem in ruislip.

This was an excellent choice for my mums 79th birthday lunch. The decor is great and excellent food choices. We are vegetarian and there was plenty of great choices - the cauliflower starter and pain puri - best I have had. What really made it special was the hostess Alexa and her team. She made us all feel so welcome, always with a huge smile and great care to make us all feel special! Well done team and thank you for a wonderful memory

Firstly I would like to thank Julie and the team for being so attentive and amazing to me and my 30+ guests! Julie you honestly were a dream come true. I had the best night with all of our guests for my birthday . The food was delicious , the cocktails were fabulous and the music was amazing! once again thank you Dj Rishi!!!!
