the food was burnt instead of grilled so it was hard to eat. The photo shows the remains of the charred shashlik . The portions are small compared to the price and other takeways. I do not recommend them, their rating speaks for itself

Basically paid over £1 per piece of chicken breast, I presume each breast is cut into about 10 pieces-very disappointed at the portion size

really disappointed , there food is lovely but time and time again i call the restaurant and leave messages when i order online about the curry gravy leaking every single time i order from them , but man on the phone seems to ignore what i’m saying as again today i received my order and the whole bag was covered in curry … which ment 0 gravy in either of our curry’s again… please please please next time fing film the curry’s of place then on the top as the lids are just sinking in and making a huge mess.

lovely food as always , only complaint is that the last two orders we’ve made have come with the curry’s leaked everywhere with the kids squashed down.

Use this take away regularly, usually at least once a month. Food is great and always hot. Service is quick but, sometimes takes longer depending on how busy they are. People are friendly. We always collect as we live nearby, so cannot comment on delivery service.

Ordered naan bread and a chicken shaslik with mushroom Bhaji. Honestly the most dry meal I have ever had the chicken seemed like someone had put it on a bit of string and dragged it with a car over a desert while the veg I couldn’t tell what was an onion and what was a pepper which is a worry because one of them is green! The mushroom bhaji was just mushy like eating something a cat threw up with bits of green flakes thrown in. I spoke to them about the naan which in all regards looked like someone left it in a toaster for an hour when I told them they said “don’t you mean charred” by all means if charred meant something resembling a tarred frying pan. Won’t be eating there again used to be an alright place just gone down hill

Food was ok, tasted like standard takeaway food. Mixed veg curry was a little runny where water had separated and chilli paneer has 4 cubes of paneer in it. The peshwari naan was really tasty and the coconut rice was good. Overall food was hot and I was pleased with service and portion size in general.

We use the Zeera home delivery facility on a regular basis: often once a week — other times twice, and very occasionally, three times a week. In recent months, the standard has dropped considerably — and I don't just mean forgetting to deliver your full order. Will you be given one complimentary papadum (broken into many, many pieces), or two. Vindaloo curries are touch and go — will they taste like a vindaloo or a korma? And will the actual curry be swimming in water or not? And will the nan bread be cooked or not? (Uncooked, doughy nans are becoming a habit!) Tonights meal did include a mild vindaloo curry slopping around in water. And with it came an uncooked and inedible nan bread which contained coconut (which I loathe) and crumbled into numerous pieces upon touch (see photo). To say the meal was disgusting, is being kind. What has gone wrong Zeera? I won't be ordering a takeaway in the immediate future.

Our local takeaway, and constantly have food food from here. We always collect as only across the road from us but is always hot, tasty and fresh. Always friendly & have delivered to us in the past when my husband broke his leg and couldn’t leave the house. Always a thumbs up!

Delivery driver and the gentleman from this restaurant was extremely nice and accommodating. My cousin was unwell so I have ordered some foods while I was in the City and unfortunately my cousin wasn’t home at that time. However, they have called me couple of occasions and offered to deliver the food to their parents house which was nearby. I think, it was very nice of them. Food quality was also great as they did enjoy it! Thanks

Ordered on-line as no cash at home. Have to order through the Chef On-Line web pages, which give no alternative but to sign in (why not) Was reluctant to sign in but wanted a delivery and not to give card details over the phone. Confirmation email came to my phone, delivery 6.19pm. Checked phone 6.15pm - another email 'Order Cancelled due to too busy'. Phone busy - why wasn't i informed by phone or text? Phoned another take away - placed order 6.30. Checked the Chef on line website, order not shown. Checked card website - payment pending. Rang ZEERA - told to take it up with Chef On-line. Doorbell rings, delivery from ZEERA of my order. Still on phone, told I should order from somebody else as it didn't arrive on time. Delivery driver refused to take it back. Just how bad is their service - I now have to cancel the transaction with the credit card company.

Very disappointed this evening, we have been oddering here for many years and have always received tasty food. I rang to say that everything on our order tasted very different and the portions were alot smaller we didn't enjoy it. We always order the same thing tried and tested. Something is definitely wrong possibly new owners and new chef. Such a shame.

Food arrived on time, temperature of food excellent really hot. Just a little too bland for us. We would certainly ask for more flavour.

I am struggling to get my head round how good Zeera's Patia is. It is definitely up there with the top 5 Indian curries I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve been enjoying curries since I first discovered Indian food in the UK back in the 1960s. Top marks Zeera.

The Lamb Tikka massa was just terrible. Meat was soo hard and not well prepared and the massala sauce didn’t taste like a real massala and was just too sweet and too red like it was made with catchup. Sainsbury’s massala ready meal would be a better option than this.

The worst lamb tikka massala I ever tried. Meat was harder than a shoe sole and the sauce was simply just too sweet and not even close to a massala flavour. Better to stick with a ready meal from Sainsbury’s. Definitely not recommend

Amazing food as always. Ordered a curry I had never tried before which was delicious, could have had some more meat though as it felt a bit lacking. I got some korma sauce to dip my chips and some poppadoms in, but it didn't really taste like korma sauce at all and mysteriously had veggies and potatoes in it, which was still nice but perhaps the menu should say that the tubs of sauce has vegetables in it as I assumed it would just be plain sauce for dipping. The food arrived early, but was missing a few things, but as I phoned the restaurant the delivery driver was already outside with the missing items so they realised before I did!

Sometimes we try other takeaway food outlets just for a change, but we always return to Zeera because none of the others are as good. Zeera are simply the best - and I’ve tried many over the years. Another perfect meal tonight. 10 out of 10

Absolutely delicious lamb curry and Nan bread so nice even they gave me free pappardom and mint sauce.The staff is so friendly and welcoming.Definately would recommend this place.

Who on earth adds coconut to butter chicken? Worst ever butter chicken. Ordered first time looking at 4.3* rating on Deliveroo and it was total disappointment with coconut flavor and texture ruining the food. The tandoori chicken was bland but ok. The naan bread was packed carelessly in simple brown bag, and not the one lined with foil to keep it warm, wasn't even fully covered. It was almost cold by the time we received it. Could have been cut into half and packed better. And the special fried rice turned out to be egg fried rice without any accompaniments though it was the only item which we could eat without any complains. Also, would be better to ask the customer if he wants a complementary poppadom(or papad), it went in the bin too.

Spent £50, the chicken and lamb were dry, the food came cold despite the takeaway being 5 minutes away, everything was bland. I used to use this takeaway a lot but has obviously gone down hill recently

First time using this restaurant. We will definitely use again. Both our dishes (korma) were the best we'd had in a long time from anywhere else.

Ive been ordering from zeera for a very long time but, this is the second time in a row that I’ve ordered from zeera, and they have messed up the order, the first time I ordered two pilau rice and they forgot one of the rice, but I was still charged for it, this time I ordered two pilau rice, and was given two plain rice instead which was very bland and not well received, even after telling him before I didn’t receive the rice from the last occasion he assured me that it was fine and it was there, and gave me extra mint sauce as an apology for last time, however the rice was also wrong this time and ruined my meal completely.

Veg table curry is bland and watery the chicken tikka is the worst I’ve tasted from any Indian restaurant
