Martin's Craft Bakery - Unsworth in Bury

As always, as regular customers we visited Martins Bakery it doesn't let us down, I had a lovely sausage roll and vimto, we even tried breakfast. 5 STAR

Not the best experience. Went on recommendation from friends but disappointed with the food and service. I hope it was just one of those days as our friends gave us a good reference.

Came in here and you now have to order and pay at the till straight away Don’t like that personally as you can’t add anything on as you go along onto the bill you have to keep paying as you go along which is a faff It used to be heaving all the time in here now it is super quiet most of the time I have to say though when I came to use one of the 2 toilets (unisex and accessible), I was totally horrified at the state of the toilet brush as I was going to clean the bowl before I sat down as it was manky and you would pick up all sorts of diseases off it it was that dirty no joke and half the handle was missing I made a swift exit without bothering after cleaning my hands as thoroughly as was possible If a health and safety person came in there and saw that I think they would shut the place down Sorry but only saying what I saw

Pies are nice, but they sell out quickly so if your not early the choice is limited, cakes ok, prices high

The food is quite nice but it took quite a long time to come and was only a sandwich. not as welcoming as it used to be may be to do with the staff being rushed but okay place to pop into now and then

Good variety of food for a lunchtime snack. Setting is a bit sparse and it’s always cold so wear a jumper!

When this first opened it was brilliant somewhat gone down hill a bit food average staff attention average just basically average but not bad if that makes sense.

Pleasant, clean surroundings. Some unusual twists to standard fare, but quite edible and palatable. Great. Place to meet and chat away the hours
