Martin Bros. Micropizzeria in Leicester

We come regularly to this restaurant because of the pizzas but the service and rudeness of the two staff is unbelievable, to the point where we’re going to stop going. We always have to ask to order even though they are just chatting behind the bar and if you ask for anything extra there’s a tut and raised eyebrows. You’re made to feel like they’re doing you a favour by serving you. Such a shame for the owners, a lot of our friends feel the same and it’s only a matter of time until they will start seeing a decline in customers.

Went again recently, and we have always enjoyed what is certainly the best pizza around. Proper Neopolitan crusts, with interesting toppings, and an adventurous beer menu. Its several notches above your standard lager to swill down the margharita. We've always found the service polite and straightforward, so a bit surprised to read a couple of negative reviews on that aspect. The owner clearly loves pizza and loves beer, and has great knowledge about both! Prices - more expensive then buying a Sainos ready to heat pizza but really, given the quality here, what do people expect!! Coffee and tirumisu good too...

Ordered some pizzas for collection at 5pm. Called in advance to pre warn and be polite, met with alot of attitude on the phone. Pizzas were disappointing and very soggy, especially for the price. Focaccia was dry, and edges were burnt - dont think it every saw olive oil in its lifetime. My husband went to collect at 5pm with my 4 year old son, was told to wait (which is fine) but he wasn't allowed to wait in the restaurant even though the restaurant was open, so they had to wait outside in the rain. Rude member of staff, almost like we were bothering him. Will not be returning unfortunately.

My family and I love coming here for what we all agree are the best pizzas in the UK. We were not disappointed today! And great service - lovely to see the place buzzing on a Tues lunch.

Pizza is bland and soggy and perfect to throw at the owners! Beer great. Place nice but lacks warmth as the servers are unpleasant and rude. I’ll go to my usual pizza place as opposed to ever coming here again!
