Marmaris Turkish Grill in Bolton

Ordered takeout, Donner and chicken naan with a pizza. I give 2 stars because the delivery was good and order was correct but the food is terrible. I paid £1 extra to have garlic naan but for some reason they sent a plain pizza base instead which was not tasty at all... How hard is it for a restaurant to make naan especially if paying extra for it?? Also the cheese they use for the pizza tastes very poor, I had one slice I don't think I can eat the rest. Feels like a waste of money.

Placed order Friday 15/3/24 at 5.30 pm not very good and cold when it arrived, had to warm up, disappointed.

Not happy at all. Can’t get through to them, constantly ringing… user busy. Still waiting for food, so far taking them 1 hour and 20 mins. We are starving. No update. Not happy. Won’t be going here again.

Gone major down hill. Used to be the best kebabs from here. Came stone cold twice on the trot , chips dry. Ordered my kids chicken nuggets and garlic bread it was rock hard and burnt.. past 3 times ordering the delivery time has been shocking. Won't be ordering again.

Much salad i ordered nann bread and it came back thin and crusty and i was supposed to get 3 pound 50p change and got 2 50. RUBISH

Quite expensive, quite greasy, but lots of flavour

think theve changed there donner meat its not the same anymore was very white looking ,, no taste ,, luckily i got a free garlic bread cause full kebab straight in the bin ,, donner was great before ,, i wont be ordering again

Used Marmaris a few times and always been happy with the food. Sometimes the delivery time may be a bit off but overall a good take away.

Ordered food delivery said 1650. I contacted them at 1735 to say I had to go out the order was now late and to cancel it as not delivered in time. I got a call at 18.05 to say order was at door but I was already out. Explained they were over an hour late and I would like a refund. Refund refused will never used again or recommend

Food is always ok/good just really poor customer service been here loads and each time we go they arnt friendly or helpful. Order over £20 for free iteam to then be told as it was order online and you get 10% then this doesn't apply but doesn't state this anywhere always collect and not great service. May consider spending our money else where

Had the best donner meat and fried chicken with fries from here 4 days ago it was delicious. The chicken was nice but the fries were amazing. Donner meat was generous portion, a nice thickness in nice long strips not dry but not greasy and was given lots of sauce as requested. Decided reorder the exact same because we enjoyed it that much and it was absolutely vile could not stomach most of it. The 3 large Donner meats were aweful. 2 portions were all just tiny little scrap like pieces but all 3 portions were absolutely swimming in grease and when I say swimming the grease was pooling around the meat in thetray, so bad the paper they were wrapped in were full of grease and the outer trays as well The chicken coating was burned and just fell/crumbled off but chicken was fine inside The fries were all pale and floppy, nothing like the lovely crispy seasoned ones I'd got days earlier. The chicken and fries were very disappointing but my boy still ate them but the 3 Donner portions were completely inedible. How can the food go from so good to so vile in a matter of 3 days 🤷‍♀️ such a shame I thought I'd found my near perfect takeaway but it's like I bought from 2 completely different places. 5 stars for the first order but 1 star for the 2nd and it honestly doesn't even deserve that

Ordered the Turkish kebab and in the description it states it comes serves with fresh salad and a choice of sauce. It didn’t turn up with salad I called up to complain and they were no help telling me I need to specify it in my notes. This isn’t the case in the description of what it says on Uber eats. They said a manager will call me back I doubt it. Would like a full refund

Good kebab and pizza let down by the worst naan in the world and badly cooked sides. Worst naan I have ever looked at. Dry cracked old mass production naan and overcooked sides. Shame won't be ordering again

I would definitely recommend this takeaway the food is amazing the carlzone melt in your mouth and fast delivery nice staff.

Sent wrong order, phone to complain and guy turns up 30 min later with a box of salad and a free burnt garlic bread with cheese, I assume as some sort of apology. The worst review I have had to leave!

I used marmaris for a few years, but now it's over. The portions are more expensive and smaller and smaller

Every order I’ve made sure to specify “vegetarian please” even if the order is obviously veggie. Today I found pepperoni under the cheese in my margarita. You wouldn’t know from looking at it that it had meat in. Just a warning for any veggies, this place can’t be trusted even if you specifically ask

Food was brilliant. The reason for the low stars is simply the shop front and waiting area needs a very good clean!! Also needs a new front door as I'm pretty sure its about to fall off its hinges any day now. Apart from that the food is really good. Maybe order online so you don't get put off.

It's very rare to find a takeaway that have the full package. Not only was the food well cooked and tasty, but it was well packaged, delivered 15!!!mins after the order was made which I have never experienced before and the staff member we spoke to on the phone was pleasant and helpful. Food is greasy and low quality, I ordered a ‘royal burger’ which comes with donner meat and bacon and they didn’t put any donner meat on and for the bacon they put a warm slice of ham on my burger and called it a day. Will never be ordering again

Amazing kebabs tonight, donner and chicken and donner mix. Used marmaris loads of times always arrives before time given, staff/delivery drivers always friendly. Always better mid week when they are less busy tbh. Definitely recommended. Thanks xx

Ordered 2 steak kebabs absolutely disgusting the steak was that tough I could of put on bottom of my shoes never again will I order from here again when rang them they said they only use top class meat what a crok of s.. t u need health and safety there all I can say is disgusting

I am a regular at this take away but not anymore its not the first time ive had rubbish food from here i had to wait just over an hour it was stone cold and where was my salad and sauce tiniest squirt ive ever seen and a pinch of lettuce wont be ordering again in a hurry oh and last time my brother ordered from here it didnt even turn up and fobbed off with excuses!!!

As a quite regular customer I was incredibly shocked by my experience last night. I ordered what I usually would for delivery at 19:50; it arrived at 21:08. The food I ordered arrived stone cold in a greasy, dirty pizza box that had collapsed in the plastic bag it was in. I tried to call the shop immediately and persistently for over an hour but it just kept ringing busy. In between calls I got in contact with the delivery driver and asked if he was going back to the takeaway, he said yes, I raised my concerns and that I wanted a new meal and he said he would sort it. Its 24 hours later and I haven't had a phone call back nor anything. Although I appreciate that stores are busy at the moment, it is absolutely not applicable here and I would like something sorted by Marmaris as I actually quite enjoy their food.

This is the first time I ordered. The food was delivered early and was hot and tasted great. I was however a little disappointed I didn’t receive the free garlic bread I had asked for. Other than this I will e ordering again.

It just wasn't right, very very sloppy pizza, very greasy and not much flavour. Some ma say 30 mins early is good but no, I order for a time for a reason, ok maybe 5 mins early or late maybe acceptable but 30 mins early is not good. What if I wasn't in?.... Overall not very impressed so I won't be ordering again.

All over cooked, had chicken and chips the chicken was grey and sloppy. I also orders Peri Peri chicken on garlic bread, it's usually really soft and cooked perfectly, not this time I could of killed my neighbour with that garlic bread, it was solid. And again chicken was burnt and dry. Very dissapointed

I was staying at the Last Drop Village with a date and after we had finished getting it on, we decided we could do with some food! .. We took a look at the hotel room service which was priced ridiculously so decided to have a look on Just Eat and chose this absolute blinder of a takeaway, the delivery driver came into the reception area called me when he got their and was a really happy chap. Next time I need a romantic weekend and i've burnt of some calories I will be ordering again! .. fantastic takeaway and the food was piping hot! .. just like my date ;)

The food quality was absolutely Shocking!! The garlic bread with cheese had been dropped and just chucked in , the meats didn’t taste Cooked from the kebab and didn’t bring the correct sauces will not be ordering from them again very disappointing.

The kebab was lovely but I never got the drink I ordered and the cheesecake was frozen.

First time customer nice food one I will be using again as everything was to my liking and being fussy with food that's a big thing for me if your asking me I would give it a call.

Used to be good take away ,now my last order Donner Meat very bland,Kofta blood in the middle,7 bits of chicken&6 lamb,no salad apart from lettuce and a little onion,very poor,take aways in bolton suck !

Usually just order in the shop to get my food fresh but decided to get delivery and I wasn't disappointed food was hot and came early pizza was cooked perfectly with plenty of toppings and the mixed kebab although a little pricey the potion and taste made up for it. Just one complaint the chips this time where soaked in grease this doesn't usually happen though! other than that 10/10

First off, I left a message for the takeaway to not have cheese on the free garlic bread and to have a certain sauce on a kebab, both were not ignored. Food was average, delivery was on time and food hot.

Food’s great, delivery time is 9 times out of 10 early but the delivery driver is abysmal. My chilli sauce had burst all Over the inside of the bag and we wouldn’t do anything about it.

Just ordered 2 kebabs from here for the first time. Food was hot, clean and very tasty. Will be ordering again soon I’m sure.
