There was an offer on Groupon for four individuals to dine at this restaurant. It appears that the food, worth £130 pounds, was offered for only 38 pounds. Sound appealing, doesn't it? However, it was just a series of cold starters and could not have been more than 30 pounds. All the food was merely average and nothing exceptional. Why falsely claim on the website groupon that its £130 pound of food is included? Although it mentions some type of food included, I am disappointed with the false information portrayed.

Been coming here with my parents for years now. I must come at least once a week, and their food is absolutely amazing. The whole atmosphere is so nice and it’s perfect for any occasion, either nipping after a long day at work or for lunch and birthday occasions too. Aisha is so lovely and the owner and other staff are extremely accommodating too. I recommend this place to literally everyone and the people who visit are hooked straight away. Their prices are so reasonable and especially for the quality of food. One of the best Turkish restaurants in Sheffield

Food from here is generally absolutely fantastic but tonight I had the hot mixed starter combo which was dreadful. £16.50 of tasteless bits of fried stuff with either salad cream tasting dip or sweet Marie rose type dip, really disappointing.

Unprofessional sense of duty. Arrived at 9.30pm on a Saturday and refused entry stating they were closed - perhaps consider updating your timings on google which state you close at 10pm.

Absolutely lovely food. Such friendly staff. The restaurant was clean. The only minor gripe I have was it was uncomforatbly hot in there. But I highly recommend it and I will definitely go again, a real hidden gem. Fantastic! and thank you for the service and great food.

Visited on a Wowcher deal had the mezze. The cold platter was absolutely delicious as was the bread. The hot platter was nice but mostly fried food. Borak was a little soggy and falafel a little dry but overall the food was very tasty.

We have been to Marmaris restaurant with our business team. We had Mix grill and homous and salad. All mix grill is mouthwatering taste and crazy sauces. Definitely will go back again. I recommend Turkish mint tea with delight.

The staff and chefs were absolutely brilliant. I cannot fault their hospitality. However, I didn’t rate their food highly. The chicken was dry and the salad wasn’t that good. I hated the bread. It was a big piece of carbohydrate. I wanted wraps. I suppose it’s ok, but massive disappointment after eating Envers.

We had a great time at Marmaris today celebrating my sons 18th birthday. We were a large party of 14 and had a great spot in the resturant with plenty of table space to feel relaxed and enjoy ourselves. The food was fantastic, we had starter, mains and desert which everyone enjoyed. The meze and grilled meats were especially good, as was the ali nazik. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Marmaris today celebrating my sons 18th Birthday. We were a large table of 14 and were well accommodated with plenty of space in our own area of the resturant so it was really relaxed and a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We ate starters, main course and deserts which were all tasty and a reasonable price. The staff were super friendly and the food was all served to us in good time. I couldn't fault anything....we will definately be back.

Came here with my partner on new years eve. We both had MIX GRILL and SALAD accompanied by a bottle of red wine. We had MIX MEZES for starters which was minestrone, an absolute beautiful cooked to perfection meze with sauce and vegetables for our main, followed by a lovely desert. This is probably one of the nicest cooked mix grill I've ever had. The mood/setting was really nice and the staff were amazing. Overall very enjoyable experience and a decent price . We will definitely be coming here again. Thankyou so much for a wonderful evening.

This Turkish restaurant hit the spot! The food was really tasty, especially the chicken tikka—it had great flavor. The staff took good care of our group of 10, making sure we had a pleasant time. For delicious Turkish cuisine and friendly service, this place is worth a visit!

First visit snd couldn't fault the place. We went on a Tuesday evening so it was quiet. However food really good and the member of staff was lovely. Will definitely go back.

Unfortunately arrived quite cold. Driver came in a car in rush hour so yeah, traffic will have been an absolute nightmare. The food was tasty when I'd microwaved it, but I really begrudge having to microwave a £30 meal.

Over 40 of us were here for a private function for a friends 60 th birthday. The food was out of this world especially all the guvac dishes. They coped well with serving such a large group. Prices very reasonably and everyone spoke of how much they enjoyed the food. The drinks were great as well. Really friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Tried this place for the first time in October 2023 after several years of walking past it. The restaurant is nice and clean, ample seating for large parties. Ordered hummus, Turkish sausage, Marmaris special mixed grill which is really filling and a lot of food for one person. The lamb chops, Adana, chicken cubes and lamb cubes was delicious. The food is cooked freshly. Great service by the waitress. Also tried. Lamb dish and lamb burger. Good value for money. Was given complimentary Turkish tea which was lovely with Turkish delight.

Finest Turkish cuisine, Islander adana was the best. Polite friendly staff,nice Turkish tea to top up the experience. Highly recommended.

We bought Groupon voucher for 12 meze for £20.95 in June which was great value for money. We visited the restaurant yesterday (25/8/2023, prior to visit we made a reservation) and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We were given plate of 6 cold meze with Turkish bread (which was their version of naan bread) and plate of 6 warm - all very tasty. The ladies who served us explained each plate and they were very nice to us, customers. We ordered also 2x glasses of Ephesus sultana white wine (each £4.50), bottle of sparkling water (£1.95) and 2x dessert Baklava (each £3.50); originally we wanted to try Kadayif but the waitress apologized for not having it on the day. So additionally to our voucher we paid £17.95. All mezes were very tasty and we felt really full after having the dessert - which by the way was not extremely sweet but lovely. We recommend this restaurant and we will definitely come again. Just to note there is no car park as it is on the main road but we had no problem to park on one of the streets behind.

14 people, we used a groupon deal. . We had meze’s but much more they tailored our meal to suit us it was tasty and great atmosphere the food tasted fresh, selection of nicely seasoned well cooked meat and vegetarian meals we shared between us. From stuffed vine leaves to rice dishes….excellent

We've never had a Turkish meal before but what my husband and I have just eaten, I will definitely be telling my family and friends about this restaurant, will most certainly use this restaurant again the meal when it arrived at the time you said it would was both hot and very enjoyable

1st visit to this restaurant, used a Groupon voucher which entitled us a Meze meal for two, this incuded 2 platters, one hot and one cold with a good variety of food, dips and warm bread. The food was delicious and tasty, service was welcming and quick, the venue was clean and bright. Will definitely visit this place again to try out the rest of the menu.

Ordered Iskender Lamb came with missing items no yogurt food meat and rice was so dry When I told them they said we can’t do nothing about it and we are sorry for missing items 🤷🏽‍♂️ I wouldn’t recommend their service

walked in with a family of 6 - it felt unwelcoming. Sat down, placed an order. The restaurant was so cold. i asked them why its so cold, and they put a fan heater on for us, which to be honest wasn't that great. we got lovely complimentary bread, and condiments, were lovely. We ordered sea bass, which came out with the head and it put my daughter off her meal. very pricey food, no taste whatsoever, staff were nice. overall restaurant atmosphere was not nice at all. We sat at the back part of the restaurant and it was cold. overall it was a waste of money, I won't go again. my mouth hurts after eating the salmon.

Simple menu but good choice of typical Turkish food all freshly cooked including charcoal cooked items. Also sell Efe’s beer in bottles which is excellent. Staff are so friendly and helpful and make the visit a delight.

Had a meal last night at Marmaris restaurant. £21.60 plus VAT for small amount of lamb which was that tough l couldn’t eat it . Third of the plate was a dollop of yoghurt . I mentioned the toughness of the lamb and the young woman just shrugged her shoulders. The place was very noisy could hardly hear your speak . Will never go there again . Everything over priced .

Really good authentic food! I go to Turkey twice a year and can say this is about as close to the Turkish riviera as you can get in South Yorkshire. Friendly waitress although she was on her own so was slowed down when we visited, but these things happen. Visit this if you love meat.
