Always the best shawarma in Sheffield, it’s my go to place! Halal, and the service is also very good. They evened us stay past 10pm just because we wanted to eat in, you would not find that a lot in UK!! Love their culture.

I only go there for the £4 wraps, which are great and an amazing value, you have so many options of meat, salad and sauce so you definitely can find something you'd like. Only criticism is that the place is really small and usually busy so it's always packed if you plan to eat in,

The hotel staff are very rude and ill mannered. It is shocking to see the way they responds to the queries from customers. We came as a team and had a very bad experience in terms of service and hospitality from the staff. Not recommended for my fellow students!

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Rude Staff and Unjust Charges I had a truly awful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was far below expectations. Not only were the staff members unprofessional, but we were also charged an additional fee for two empty plates on the table, which was absolutely ridiculous and unjustifiable. When we asked for a detailed bill to clarify the charges, the staff refused to provide one, which only added to our frustration. The situation took a turn for the worse when one of the staff members, in a shockingly rude manner, told us never to come back again. To be treated with such disrespect is simply unacceptable in any service industry. I’ve never encountered such poor customer service, and I will not be returning to this place. I would advise anyone thinking of dining here to look elsewhere, as there are plenty of restaurants that actually value their customers and provide quality service.

I'm a regular at Kurdistan Grill and I swear, they serve up the best wraps in Sheffield! The staff are always smiling and super welcoming, making each visit better than the last. The wraps are delicious, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous, all at a great price. If you haven't been yet, you’re definitely missing out. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Kurdish food!

They are not respectful at all. I went today and ordered 3 chicken sandwiches. I told him I don’t want the salad inside the three sandwiches, but rather put it in a small box. He refused and said, “If I put it in a box for you, you have to pay me more.” I told him, “Okay, I don’t want to.” We ate the sandwiches inside the restaurant. When we finished, I went to him to pay the money. I told him, “Then I have to pay you less because I didn’t put any kind of salad inside the sandwich.” He said, “No, the price is the same.” I said, “Then why didn’t you give it to me?” When I asked you to put the salad in a box, and because the restaurant was full, he denied it and said, “I told you I would put the salad in a box and you refused.” This was very annoying to me because when I go to any halal restaurant and ask for salad, they put the salad in a box and smile, but at Kurdsat Restaurant, they were very rude.

I gave this restaurant 5 stars seven months ago, but today I had to change that to 1 star. The chicken shawarma has gotten worse it’s not even cooked properly. On top of that, the staff messed up my order and tried to blame it on me. As a regular customer, I found this really disappointing, and it’s clear they know me well. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I visit this restaurant

I don't live in Sheffield, but, for many years, whenever I'm in town, I come here. Having not been since lockdown, I was delighted that this was even better than remembered: such succulent shawarma, served with a complimentary lentil soup (rich with a fabulous chicken stock, I think) and totally fresh bread. It's incredible value for money, very friendly, and totally delicious. Thanks!

I've been to almost all Kurdish shawarma places on Sheffield and this is the best chicken shawarma in town well seasoned large portion and great price the garlic sauce is the stand out and is next level, mixed grill is awesome too and the soup is amazing

Best place to eat in Sheffield! Usually go on a Friday after work, can get busy but if you don't mind waiting 5/10 mins the turnaround is pretty quick

Filling, grilled meat and stuffed with goodness and flavour

Probably the best Kebab mixed grill I’ve had in the UK and I’m 50+! We had two Kurdistan specials at £17.50 each and the food was fantastic. I really can’t rate it highly enough and all cooked on a charcoal grill. They do wraps starting from £4 ea.

It was my first experience with food that wasn't Brazilian. It's simply delicious, I loved it, I loved the food, the service is great, very polite staff, I highly recommend it

Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to review this Sheffield institution. Some of the finest food this side of Yorkshire for excellent value prices. I’m partial to a half chicken but you can pick anything and you won’t go wrong. Ever grateful to the boys at Kurdistan 🙏

Absolutely brilliant. The lamb is tender and perfect, veg is crisp and tasty. I ordered a houmous 'side' for £3 too and got what would have cost about £8-12 in a supermarket -and it was actually fresh and full of garlic. Prices here are amazing, quality is great and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

I paid 4 pounds for chicken shawarma and 4 for lamb tikka. Average quality. But worth for the money you pay.

Lamb and shawarma wrap was the best wrap I've had in years. Very impressed with the taste and quality of food. It's a small place with only a few small tables inside and no toilets.

Outstanding - even on a quiet Wednesday, early evening, when other kebab shops on London road are empty, there is always a crowd here, and with good reason. Very friendly staff, excellent and quick service, and delicious food. Don't let the takeaway counter fool you, the food we had while seated would match any high-end restaurant. If you want an excellent charcoal grilled kofte, look no further.

I’ve never left a review before but i just had a lamb kofta wrap and it was by a country mile the nicest kebab I’ve ever had. Meat had a nice char on it, salad was fresh, sauces so tasty and the wrap itself was just the right amount of chew. 10/10 and for only £4

Good quality tasty meat done over a real charcoal grill. So good! And for such a fantastic price! Quick bite at its best. I’ve been so many times now it’s so good. Comes with complimentary lentil soup. Yum!!!!

The review bought a Chicken tikka Wrap (£4) and a Lamb wrap (£4). The chicken was juicy and flavourful, the lamb was dryer but still flavourful. The salad was fresh and mixed, Lettice, onions, pepper and filled the Wrap out without dominating the meat. The Nan was soft and fluffy with a bubbly feel and texture yet still had the distinctive Tandoor flavour. I could easily eat the Naan by itself. I choose the green garlic Mayonnaise sauce which complimented and didn't overpower the food. 1 wrap is a good potion for a light meal. Service was swift and professional. Other reviews have indicated raw meat. I did not have this experience.

Fantastic grill. Best in Sheff? Visit with wee son on a Friday early evening. Busy service but found seat right away and ordered quickly. Lamb tikka n kofta wrap. Banged full of fresh salad. All the sauces. Charcol grilled meat and the bread is superior. Couple of lads eating in shared their chips with my wee lad. taaa. Aye super friendly service, quality produce, a tonne of taste and 6.50 is more than reasonable. Recommended.

Not cheap, not too expensive either but it's bloody amazing food!! Had the Kurdish special last night and I have to say it's in my top 5 places to get a takeaway in and around Sheffield. That Kurdish special at £17.50 will easily feed two people, possibly two people and a kid or two at a push. Looks like a nice place to eat in as well but not many tables. Nice friendly staff too. Can't vouch for the delivery as I've gone in and ordered both times I've eaten from there. Even though it's busy as hell, from ordering to receiving my food it's taken about 10 minutes both times.

I enjoyed the marinated lamb with chips and wow, the marinade ingredients are spot on! It also came with four different sauces for dipping - raiita, houmous, avocado and a slightly spicy tomato one. Great quick service from friendly staff. It would be nice if the water wasn't in a plastic bottle, but that's just me being fussy. They do bottomless tasty naans and a free lentil soup starter was included! We finished it with some good quality Turkish tea. Try it, you won't be disappointed! Most mains are under a tenner. It is a nice relaxed place which was pleasant to eat in. We'll be back!

Excellent food. Can't think of a bad choice- I love a wrap from here when on the go, and something bigger if I got the time and room it. I'm a particular fan of the lamb kofte and shawarma, partner likes the chicken tikka.

What amazing food and excellent value for money. I had the chicken shish with rice and chips flavours like I’ve never tasted before absolutely fantastic and a decent size portion oh and you get a soup to start which again full of flavour, I wished I lived closer and wasn’t just working here.
