Marks & Spencer Cafe in Hillingdon

This is ok but not fantastic. Toilets smell awful. Seating very squashed and not much room. Probably wouldn’t return

Best coffee shop in the whole vicinity. Lots of delicious treats and tasty coffee. Only slight downside is that it’s not situated inside Intu

This place is great along with the staff too! Great food range from sandwiches to jacket potatoes also pizzas, As well as food for children too. Small, clean and friendly!

Nice cafe with good staff. This is opposite the main brah h. The store is also good for food and clothes. Lots of cakes in the selection

Good service, food and atmosphere, wheelchair access, no steps and plenty of space. Good choice of seats.

Had vouchers for birthday afternoon tea. The day before eating, checked with cafe that everything was OK (they'd had a freezer problem previous week). Everything OK it was stated. On the morning was told there were no scones in cafe. I went to M&S shop across the way and picked some up and delivered them to cafe. When I turned up with my friend, no one knew anything and they claimed not to have any scones. Explained I had personally delivered them in morning. OK, we've no clotted cream. Also. only one packet of sandwiches which I also had to fetch from chiller. Then had to set up my own tray with scones on one plate, sandwiches (still in packet on another and find cutlery. Then the waitress demanded payment despite voucher. Changed her mind after examining the document. This was totally rubbish and a letter of complaint to M&S brought sorry and £5 voucher if you give us your address. I'm a long standing customer and they send me bills every month to my address. Seems right hand does not know that left hand exists. Overall, I try not to use this cafe except if I have my routine free drinks vouchers as the service is appalling. It's even worse than Costa in the same mall and that's some feat. I'd quite like to give it a minus rating but that's not possible

Whenever we shop in Uxbridge, say 2 or 3 times each week, we visit the M&S Cafe and never regret doing so. The coffee and snacks are invariably hot and tasty - I love the toasted cheese and ham sandwich - and the service is quick. The staff are always pleasant and friendly, and seem to get on with customers and colleagues alike. Sadly, on one occasion a male customer spilt a tray of hot beverages on his front, scalding himself and spoiling his clothes. Instantly a member of staff was out from behind the counter, mopping him up and then while he applied cold water to himself in the customers' toilet she cleared up the area and resupplied the drinks. It's these kinds of one-off occasions that test the quality of staff, and the staff of M&S Cafe Uxbridge pass the test regularly. My family will always use this cafe; not only is the service quick and friendly, but my clothes survived the incident mentioned above and I know that should I trip carrying hot drinks, my saviour will rush out from behind the counter and save me again.
