Costa Coffee in Hillingdon

The Costa Cafe within the outer area of the Mall Shopping Centre, Uxbridge town centre , Middlesex England. Is a busy two tiered large cafe. With good seating area for all , with washrooms on both floors. It’s quite tidy , but can be a bit chaotic when busy ! Staff are obliging , but watch your bill And change given ! As it can be varied. But it’s a friendly atmosphere within , and wheel chair friendly. Young and old will like the helpful staff too. Also it’s very touristy friendly. The menu is typically good range of hot / cold drinks and snacks for all to enjoy ! Prices are reasonable too. Worth a visit during a busy browse around the large and varied shops.

This Costa Cafe is situated within the Odeon cinema complex in the Chimes shopping centre , Uxbridge, Middx. I’ve visited the cafe before and it’s always like a hidden gem ! Never really full with customers, despite being always tidy , clean and inviting seating area. The staff are always friendly, and helpful too. Good for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea as well. Large range of hot beverages, hot and cold drinks. Food excellent too! Very good pit stop to rest your limb’s in between a shopping spree, or before / after seeing a film at the excellent Odeon cinema adjacent. Well worth a visit !

I needed painkillers urgently and had no water, I ask a member of staff called Meyer and he was very helpful and got me my water. I cant praise the staff enough for there customer service. Thankyou costa keep up the good work.

I came in for a cortado and it was pretty good though not as good as the independent coffee shop I go to or Caffe Nero. At least it wasn't too milky which is my usual complaint but I did ask them to show me how much milk they would add beforehand.

I’ve been to Costa a million times and you probably have too so I’ll keep this short. There are three or four different branches of Costa in Uxbridge; this review refers to the shop located in the Pavilions shopping mall. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in late August to meet my mum for a coffee. Costa have made some changes since they reopened after lockdown. For example, they’ve erected plastic screens to separate the baristas from the customers; sugar and serviettes are no longer available on the shop floor and you must ask the barista if you would like them; and some of the tables are off-limits in an effort to try to socially-distance the customers. However, on this last point, it didn’t stop us being seated less than one metre from customers on our left and right so bear this in mind if it worries you. I ordered an Americano and biscotti and my mum had a hot chocolate and a raspberry and almond bake. The coffee is good and extras on top of the hot chocolate like whipped cream and marshmallows make it extra decadent. I regretted not ordering a raspberry and almond bake for myself because it looked delicious and Mum confirmed it was. The shop was generally clean and tidy and there’s no code required for the toilet, which is convenient because you don't need to ask a barista or try to decipher it from a coffee-soaked receipt. They have nice big windows on the ground floor and first floor that are good for people-watching if you enjoy doing that like I do. It was a bit chilly but we realised we’d unwittingly chosen a table right underneath the air-con unit so that explained that. All in all, we spent a nice hour or so having a catch-up over hot drinks and watching the world go by.

Good service, lovely service. Felt safe in this new normal world. Good one way system, and fantastic assortment of sugar free and vegan snacks at the counter

Great service, even though was really busy. Lots of seating and very hot to escape the cold. The even do a great meal do which is very reasonable.

First time in here We enjoyed our drinks - no arguments , nor questions asked - exactly as we asked for as well ac our sandwiches. Clean Toilets are open ( not locked like the one of West Drayton branch ). The seats are very comfortable in an excellent location inside the mall. Service is very good.

Coffee isn’t bad for a stop when shopping. However, on this visit there were prams and children everywhere, I was scared to walk my piping hot coffee to the table in case I spilt any. Please review your health and safety policies for prams as they should especially not be covering and obstructing the front doors

decided i would go in to costa and had a frozen drink the woman made it for me and after she rushed to throw it back in my face once done. i was walking back to go home and i looked down and noticed half of it was done my white t shirt i had to put in the bin as the rubbish paper straw dont help when drinking something frozen

Ok before I begin just for clarity I would like to point out that the branch concerned is not listed so for those of you who know Uxbridge, or visiting. It is the branch located at 172 High Street directly next to Uxbridge Tube Station. I was on my way to a meeting and agreed to meet my client at this location to grab a coffee on the go. My client met me and we went in to order. It is generally a very busy branch as its situation next to a train station in the main High Street sees a lot of footfall from members of the public and commuters alike. It is my preferred branch, however I very much doubt I will visit again given the customer service experience of today. On entering there was 1 person ahead of us, who was about to leave having got their order. We we then serviced by the rudest most abrupt staff member, a young man by the name of Badri. We placed our order and paid and stood to one side so otthers could be served while we waited while the two Barrista's began to prepare my order. which was swift. Due to noise of the machines I did not hear the lady barrista ask me if I wanted chocolate on top immediately, however as my client and I were discretely chatting, Badri decided to rudely interject abruptly raising his voice hey do you want coffee. There were now several other customers behind us. I pointed out how rude and abrupt his interaction was, because quick frankly if your going to attempt to be rude to me, your gonna get it back. Difference being I'm not serving you, I am the customer paying for your offensive behaviour, and one of many that therefore contribute to you wages. We got our coffee and sat outside, I would like to point out the behaviour of the staff member made my client anxious,. Reason being I am a community health professional who deals with vulnerable persons. Obvious from the NHS lanyard clearly displayed round my neck. Given the impact I decided to return in store to request from the female barrista the name of the offending colleague, for the purpose of formal complaint. Once again Badri took it upon himself, and in front of other customers abruptly, rudely interjected "my name is Badri". I pointed out I had not asked you directly due to you rude and offensive manner !! His colleague wrote his name on the back of the receipt for me. I left again and rejoined my client outside, when 10 minutes later the gentleman, and I use that term loosely, came to our table to try to apologise, clearly realising or having been prompted about his manner. I asked him to leave us alone as I was no longer concerned with his behaviour. He stated "I was not rude but you have the right to complain if you want", again quietly asked him to go away. A further ten minutes went by, before his colleague a polite young lady, came out attempting to bare some kind of patisserie with compliments which were declined as politely as they arrived. Realising my client and I would not get the peace that we intended to discuss our business, we decided to move on to our meeting unprepared. Nice customer service training Costa. I am afraid on this occasion I will not be returning to this branch any time soon and would remind you that in the immediate location there are many other reputable brands of coffee house available to choose from, Pret, Cafe Nero and Harris & Hoole to name a few.

I just have a cup of coffee in this busy branch, staff are very professional and friendly, shop looks very clean. Definitely will be back

They make the very best cappuccino on the planet. Great place to pop into when your feet are tired from shopping the Uxbridge shops.

Went here for a fab bacon roll not fatty!! And a great coffee!! Noisu yummy mums and pushchairs everywhere.. Pricey!!

Staff were very rude and messed up our order. One continuing to make 'hurry-up' hand gentures when we were ordering. When asked about the incorrect order the barista continued to be sarcastic and rude. Won't be visiting this Costa again.

Stopped in here to people watch and some quality time with my step daughter. A good atmosphere, decent service and a good brew.

Downstairs area had closed down 2 hours before closing, even though there were no available seatings upstairs...

All OK, good coffee and panini. It was pretty busy for a Sunday morning lots of families. Service OK, bot again upstairs sitting area grubby and in need of a good clean !

I am regular customer on Costa Coffee. I like this place in Uxbridge,because it's very clean and very friendly staff, ofcourse making lovely ☕. Definitely I will be back.

Service was pleasant and relatively quick with several baristas working. Coffee was nice enough and seating areas clean and tidy. However, the same can not be said of the toilet which is dusty, dirty and well used but not often cleaned properly!
