After shopping in M & S Food felt the need for a pitstop. Wasn’t impressed by the range of food but ordered a flat white and panini. The coffee was fine but can’t understand why saucers seemed to have disappeared from M & S Cafes. It must be easier and cheaper to wipe tables than wash saucers. Enjoyed the panini and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff are great but each time I visit they give me a list a mile long of what IS NOT AVAILABLE THAT DAY! No bacon rolls, no soup, no cake selection, no pizzas - the list goes on. Apparently the management dont send stuff out, which is a shame for the staff as they get the blame. There is a bigger selection at Greggs or Starbucks and they dont run out! One staff member suggested M&S are having financial trouble and cant get stock, that or the management are idiots. You choose. The Middlesbrough town centre cafe is no better :(

I'd suggest you stick to Costa over the road as we thought we'd try here for a change and were most disappointed. It's like a bit of the shop has been partioned off and called a cafe. It's dingy and cold and not the standard you would expect at M&S. Not even the service or refreshments were good.

Its good but sometimes when i say PLAIN burger they give me ketchup on THAT burger (or tartar sauce on filet-o-fish) so, just use the app. Its better.

Been here a good few times and the food has always been ok. But tonight was the worst ive ever had. Chips were dry and tasteless, asked for 2 fish you would exspect both similar size but one was tiny and other was normal size but the fish was just dry and horrible. Not sure what has happened but this visit makes me not want to return... It was roughly 7.30 tonight i ordered 2 fish and 1 potion of chips with tub of curry and gravy, i paid on card sum of £19.40 I sat talking to older gentleman who asked for directions to wetherspoons from your staff..

The manger here has an attitude that needs correcting. When he served two drinks with the same mixer and asked which one was which he just said smell them and had a very poor attitude. Then went on to accuse me of having an attitude for asking. When told that he would get a poor review more or less said he could not care. Is this the Wetherspoons standard now?
