The attitude of the staff was awful The customer Service was shocking. When I asked how long the food was going to be, they said you’ve only been waiting 15 minutes which was wrong. I’ve been waiting 25 minutes

So weird how people concentrate on the cafe! There is also a well stocked shop with tasty M&S food! No is not the shop it's probably the customers around you ...

Closed again at 5.00pm. Cafe advertised as being open until 7.30pm this is third time of us going after work to pick food up and wanting a coffee at cafe. Other times of closing are 4.30pm, and 5.00pm. Why advertise 7.30? Bizzare. Asked why cafe was closed and was told a staff shortage lol. Please. What is like to know is the cafe a franchise or a marks run cafe?

Went with my husband for a quick coffee at around 3.45 pm meanwhile our dog was getting groomed we were totally ignored when my husband got asked what he wanted the person behind never asked me only my husband and I was queuing up too!! I was left standing there like if I didn't exist, it was not busy and all the tables were empty I am not english and I dont want to think I was ignored for that reason but the way things are we all feel more vulnerable.

Until about 2 months ago I always bought M&S fruit scones at Bidston Moss bakery, there was a fire in the bakery which supplied the store and since then a replacement bakery has been sought out with much smaller scones than the original I will not be buying again at 70p each.

We were window shopping in a furniture store on this retail park spotted they had a cafe so called in. We both had a cappuccino, very nice, service quick and friendly. Typical M & S always clean and good quality.

Was kept waiting ages despite being the only person in the cafe queue. There was a previous ‘spillage’ and I understood that needed attending to, but not once did the server acknowledge me despite standing directly in front of me - no “Sorry to keep you waiting” or “I won’t be a moment, sir.” When I suggested that acknowledgement would be nice, a her colleague just gave me a hard glare and told me how busy they were. Then she said with another glare, look we’re sorry but we ARE busy.” There was no one else behind me in the queue. They just closed ranks and refused to understand and treated me like some kind of trouble maker. After my drink I went to see the manager - she reiterated that they were very busy and she took far too long to apologise or understand. It was a very unpleasant experience and I still don’t think they understand the basics of customer service.

Called in to the M&S coffee shop after visiting Halfords across the way Had a Latte coffee and a heated croissant - excellent taste and texture. Jam is not cheap at 60p for a small single portion but it is good. Prompt service and bright, airy seating area adjacent to exit/entrance

Visited for a few items and had time for a coffee. I have stopped at few of these small coffee shops in M&S and never had a bad drink. The shop had not long opened and there was a lovely smell of freshly cooked pastries. Enjoyed the coffee and fond the premises to immaculately clean and well presented.

This M&S is convenient as it is close to where I live. It is pretty standard as M&S foodhalls go but, unfortunately, a lot of the staff were new to M&S when it opened and it still has a feel that the staff don't quite know what they are doing compared to other stores.

Overpriced refreshments served by disinterested staff in an unwelcoming corner near the shop doorway. Go anywhere but here for your coffee break. I certainly will in future!

Clean, spacious, British, quality, modern, was what greeted me at my first visit to the M & S Cafe today. I had a turkey stuffing xmas sandwich and coffee. Average food I have to say, prepackaged, fresh, coffee in take away cardboard cups, all in all very good.

I appreciate a good cup of coffee and will travel miles to get a good cup, It was a surprise to find a little coffee shop in the new Marks and Spencer after my shopping trip, I thought I would try a vegan Latte, made with soy milk, it was near perfect , the staff was very efficient and polite , even mentioned he might try other non dairy type milks , like hazelnut/oat/rice milks, will call back again .

Stopped by for a Flat White coffee after shopping, drink in or to take out!. It was quite strong but enjoyable, just what I needed. All drinks served in disposable cups! The three staff were polite & friendly and when not serving were topping up supplies or cleaning. A nice bright clean coffee area with 8 small tables for two and two table areas for 8 people. Hot drinks and real fruit smoothies. A selection of toasted & cold sandwiches and some children's meals. An enjoyable drink in air conditioned premises.

This shop is on the Too Good to Go app. I have placed two orders and the shop have summarily cancelled both. Looks like they put too many bags on the app. This has been somewhat irritating and I won't be trying again or paying them a visit.

Visited with my 2 girls & opted for the family deal for £15.Food was ok apart from the 2 children’s sweets came out as 1 .There was only one chocolate brownie with 2 scoops of ice cream,There are supposed to be 2 of each.pointed this out to the helpful waitress who said that she would go back to the kitchen to sort this trivial matter out only to return saying that the manager was not prepared to do anything about this & that I could speak with him if I wanted to.I declined saying that it would be a waste of time
