Marks and Spencer's Cafe in Dacorum

So disappointed. Popped in for a takeaway coffee. £3.44 for a decaf soya cappuccino and a half full cup. Waited 15 mins as 3 staff served one customer. Will now use our independent coffee shops where the customer is valued and the coffee doesn’t cost so much

Love their range of light bites. Reasonabley priced tasty soups and sandwiches. Staff friendly and very helpful.

It's not that the food or drink are bad, or that the staff aren't good, but it's a supermarket cafe and that's all.

was it town, fancied a coffee , saw some snacks and decided to have lunch there, could not complain about the food, good veggie selection, but the coffee was so much better than the place next door, a coffee specialist, been back since for coffee in general, 5*

Traemos a los niños a M&S café a menudo antes de ir a las islas! Sirven una variedad de deliciosos pasteles y tartas, incluyendo sándwiches tostados y sandwiches de té y especialmente para los niños. Café, té, chocolate caliente y zumos de frutas son siempre populares. Es un café funcional sin ningún particular ambiente, pero está bien para una suave media hora o así que comer comida de buena calidad. Tienen sillas altas y también para colorear y hojas (aunque ninguno a la izquierda la última vez) para los niños pequeños. Seguiremos volviendo, estoy seguro.

Finished shopping and then went into cafe. Very busy. Staff very friendly and polite. Bacon roll, very soft roll and bacon very salty. Latte hot and good taste. Okay for a quick fix but not the quality would expect from M & S.

Very often after my high street shopping on a Saturday I end it off with coffee and cake at Marks and Spencer Berkhamsted. Café never over crowded although it can get very busy at times. Its always clean and has a lovely bright feel to it with large windows overlooking the high street. I love M&S coffee and their carrot cake is the best by far. My kids love the gingerbread biscuits and apple turn overs. I have always experienced the staff to be very friendly, chatty and helpful.

Good coffee, large portions, my husband loves their sausage and bacon rolls. Staff very helpful as I have been visiting here with my wheelchair and later on crutches. They have good selection of seating and free newspapers.

Our visit was just after 3 pm, there were only four people sitting in the Café, nobody queuing, maybe because there was no staff to be found behind the counter, if they want to hide backstage and chat amongst themselves perhaps they could install a bell push on the counter, so customers can press it to get somebody out to serve them. Most of the sandwiches and toasties were available, but really we fancied a hot drink and a slice or two of cake, or maybe an apple turnover. Only one sliced cake available chocolate, there were a few scones, sadly these had not been baked enough and their appearance was seriously off putting, no other bakery items available, looking later at the instore bakery where the scones came from, all the items unsold had the same pale appearance, insufficiently baked. Eventually after making a lot of noise somebody came out to serve us, we noted it was a great strain on them to actually engage with a customer. Surprisingly the tables had been cleared of dirty crockery and had been wiped down, plenty of seats to be had. The chocolate cake now £3 a slice was dry and offer very poor value, whilst the two coffee`s lack much taste. Other customers came in whilst we eating and everyone of them found no staff behind the counter, truly disgraceful for a company like M&S, really poor service best to go elsewhere.

This could be a great cafe but is sadly let down by poor management. Service is patchy and most annoying it frequently runs out of many chilled food items well before lunchtime. It's lovely to have a Simply Food in Berkhamsted but both the store and cafe could be so much better.

We went there as we use the one in Welwyn Garden City often, but what a disappointment, we got the sandwiches we wanted then when to the till to order tea, we waited while there were three members of staff chatting, after quite a wait, I said to my husband it doesn't look like anyone is serving so let's go elsewhere, just then one of the staff although still chatting served us, I should of walked away, they even served with attitude, having said that after we had eaten a woman came to clear the table, she was very friendly, they others should take a page from her book

Awfully rude, surly and aggressive staff who think it's acceptable to talk in insulting terms about customers. According to one elderly member of staff, customers cause her a headache if they pay for items amounting to £3.90 with a five pound note.

Been here several times and the quality of food is always excellent. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your food or drink. My only gripe is I would like to see more lunch time items on the menu, otherwise, its great.

Standard M&S fare and service. As one would expect, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for buggies and yummy mummies to congregate.

I have coffee in here when Costa Coffee is busy. Coffee comes with small biscuit and a smile from the servers. It's M&S; so you know it'll be good.

Been to this cafe several times with my granddaughter and always found it very pleasant. Think several other grandparents have the same idea.

Durante muchos años, el M&S; era nuestro lugar preferido para las compras de comida, donde estábamos viviendo o visitar en el tiempo. Sin embargo, esta tienda, que está a menos de cinco minutos de donde ahora vivimos, ha sido consistentemente decepcionante desde que abrió hace menos de dos años. Nunca, nunca, tienen todos los elementos en nuestra lista de compras. Hoy fui a buscar las cabras leche, leche y soya, leche y almendra. No es uno de ellos estaba en stock. En otras ocasiones, ellos tendrán una, o quizás dos, estas cosas, pero nunca las tres. Eso es sólo un ejemplo. Podría citar otros, más convencionales, ejemplos de alimentos básicos cotidianos que no son habitualmente en stock. Muy a menudo, como hoy, me terminan saliendo y caminar dos minutos de la carretera a Waitrose, que tiene todo lo que quieras. añade a eso, la simpatía y amabilidad del personal en Waitrose son casi Obviada inexplicablemente mejor de lo que experimentamos en este M&S.; Ninguna explicación que tiene sentido para esta otra de mala gestión Shambles.

Marked down only because I found the "Cauliflower and kale pasta with cheesy melts" devoid of any cheese taste, but in all other respects the cafe and staff were clean and tidy, and service quite speedy.

Disappointing food. I found a piece of plastic, from the container it was delivered in, in my soup. Everything is pre packed and bland. Lots of staff but still slow service.

Visitamos el nuevo M&S; Café para una taza de té y tarta y quedé muy sorprendido de lo decepcionante el servicio era. El café en sí era preciosa, amplia y fresca, se veían las sillas y mesas buenas y modernas. Por desgracia, el servicio era muy pobre. Nos sirvió una mujer que obviamente no quieres estar en el trabajo, hay otros cuatro trabajadores callejeando por no hacer nada pero charlando entre ellos. Las mesas no estaban despejadas y sucia. Me servían un trozo de tarta limón seco de llovizna en un plato caliente, mi amigo se sirve un bollo y mantequilla también en un plato caliente, y cuando pedí una fría el trabajador barman chistaba en mí.
