Marks and Spencers in Weymouth and Portland

I was really disgusted at the toilets there was toilets paper all over the floors and generally unclean I thought the whole store was very shabby not marks standard at all.

They have self-service checkout so I had to queue for over 15 minutes to pay. These machines are slow and error-prone and one of the reasons high street retail is struggling despite every advantage.

Went to go and have lunch today at the restaurant with my friends as we love M and S food only to find the toilets closed. The restaurant was open but the toilet facilities were closed. This is crazy when there is a pandemic on and you are sent downstairs out of the store to use beachside toilets which are not the cleanest when you want to eat!! Apparently they have been like this for days!!!

Dropped in for coffee and cake. My latte was only warm, and the cake stale. Not a cafe I can recommend

called in to get some sandwiches and cake for our lunch and some to take on our journey home it was a very nice shop and very clean plenty of choices

Went to Marks and Spencer in Weymouth to do last minute grocery shopping stood by the turkey's as l have had a stroke and let my partner shop and bring the food to the trolley while l leant on it for support. Next thing l was approached by a chap in a check shirt wearing an M&S badge saying we are not reducing turkey's today we have changed our policy this year. But what l heard next from another customer made me quite mad she over heard the same man say keep the turkeys for the staff and if you can't eat them freeze them. The lady then went on to say that last year Weymouth M&S chucked out turkeys and food that was sprayed with dye.... I do not know if this is true but she was adamant that it happened as her friend works there and told her! Disgusted with the thought of good food going to waste when there are homeless people on the streets places trying to feed the homeless a donation might of been better to the needy other stores have done it or do M&S think that they are better than that! My business is going elsewhere!

Even though it's a small shop it's bursting with food, clothes and has a lovely cafe, Staff are helpful and friendly nothings any bother. If you want food for the day on the beach this is the shop for you.

It was a relief on such a hot day to sit in a cool cafe and drink chilled spring water. The customer in front of me had coffee and had to plead with the server to have a free biscuit. M&S are still insisting they throw more biscuits away if they give each hot drink customer one, which I find hard to believe. The windows looking out to the road, looked as if they had not been cleaned for many months, as they were spattered with bird mess.

Usual quality cafe in M&S but the whole store was just the wrong size. It wasn’t big enough for a wide range of clothes and was too large to be really intimate but the cafe was nice and clean and up to the usual standards expected

The food and drink for sale is of the usual M&S high standard and not too expensive but I'm afraid the service is very slow hence the score of 4. The staff are all pleasant and polite but if they could improve on the service then I would definitely give them full marks.
