If it wasn't for the one star I wouldn't of left a stars at all. We went in at 4pm Sunday 23rd March! When we walked in got told that they only had turkey and beef no gammon! When the rest of the family went up they only had beef. The food was horrible the potatoes were hard. Never again!

Had a weekend stay next door at the premier inn.. used pub Saturday afternoon for food and drinks(was 10 of us). Food was OK nothing special.. NO wine glasses.. how can a pub have no wine glasses.. then ran out of small bottles of prosecco.. very slow in clearing tables of empty plates ect from previous customers...Sunday evening after being out all day we thought we'd have a nice chilled drink before retiring to be ushered away as the were closing.. it was 9pm. Little tip .. behind premier inn there is a wonderful little cafe and the food is amazing..

The food was pretty good for the price, the portions were a decent size and they catered to all of us (party of 15). Dominic was brilliant - he sorted our tables and made sure everything went well. He is an asset to the resurant. The free refills of drinks was brilliant but it would have been nice to have coka cola original on the machine as well. All round a pretty good place if there are a lot of you, with kids in tow!!

The service on booking food choice was brusque and much of what was on the menu was not available....even to the point of not being told until 10 minutes after ordering. Service was lacking in client importance. On the whole expensive for what is provided in terms of food quality, service and atmosphere.

We specifically went there for dinner at 5PM so we could use the soft play which is advised to close at 7PM as our 3 year old can get impatient waiting for food. Well, apparently 7PM means 5pm. This did make life a bit more awkward for us as parents. The sign outside still says 7PM. Also, the food is over salted, but otherwise okay. The staff are lovely.

Not a great experience whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door on a work trip. Stayed for dinner and breakfast. Staff were friendly but the food quality wasn't great. Dinner was okay for what it was, you can't really complain for the price. Breakfast I gave up as the coffee was weak and the buffet food didn't taste of anything. Definitely is not with £10.99. Unfortunately because of this, I wouldn't stay at this hotel with restaurant again.

Christmas eve with the family, staying in premier inn. Arrived to freezing cold pub Ripped seats , Disgusting food , menu no better than fast food take out. Desserts ordered at 9.25pm x 3 coffees ordered x 3, sorry coffee machine is now turned off So not ones to be defeated, family invited us to a pre book breakfast on Boxing day, mistake. No room at first for wheel chair, then shoved in a cold dark , loud corner , as speaker was blaring out. One coffee machine working, cold breakfast. Shameful. Some of the staff just didn't want to be there. And we live in Portland and won't be back. Tatty, scruffy, cold.

A good brewers fayre. You know what the offer is, but this pub was a bit above the average. Nice welcome on a busy Sunday. We booked tables and arrived a bit early. This pub does a superb carvery which is good value. Decent portions and refills on veg. My wife's veg was a bit cold in places ( plates vould have been warmer) but overall she loved the carvery. Friendly staff all round. Would recommend and return. Ps. if you have table rable card you can use it here to build points ( we had discount offer we used on the day so it's definitely worth building up.

Impromptu stop for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was fully booked for carvery, but the team advised us we could order from the usual menu in the bar area. This was perfect for us, so we went with this plan. Food arrived in a reasonable time, considering the busy nature of the venue. Clean plates all round and no complaints. Average prices for standard pub chain food. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Some could have used some updated uniforms, which would enable a better visual presentation. It is a family-friendly eating establishment, so be prepared for lots of background noise.

Myself, two children and grandmother ate here for lunch. Softplay was shut (as usual!). We ordered the children's food from the kids menu, their desert arrived before they had even had their starters. When their spaghetti finally came, it was stone cold and frozen in the middle. The table was never cleared and we had to go and ask for desert to come out and still took a very long time! My son and I shared a sundae from the adult menu. That night we were both very very ill, vomitting with food poisoning! We believe this to be from the cream. We have had so many problems with food here, we will no longer be using this 'restaurant' Stay clear if you can

This is our second time trying to eat at the Brewers Fayre in Weymouth and the second time we left unable to order any food... Hard one to judge really, it's a seaside location, and we went in the peak of the summer, We had three breakfasts over a long weekend, and each day, there was a shortage of plates, which meant a queue and a wait for a plate, before a queue and a wait for buffet style food. I'm assuming the business has either a small bottom line, or a previous problem with food waste, as the food didn't come out in particularly large quantities, so would run out almost as fast as it came out, so that almost meant lots of people hanging around with half a plate of food, waiting for other items to come out. Food was nice though,

About what you'd expect really, the quality was 'ok' - not exceptional. Started off feeling cheap but ended up spending nearly £7-80 for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was alcohol free drinks! Tried to do us out of one corn on the cob saying that the 2 sides were one cob and something else, but the menu clearly states that one side is '2 corn on the cob'. Garlic bread felt expensive. TWO slices TWO. For £4. So if the kids want garlic bread you are looking at the 2/3 of the price of the entire kids menu on garlic bread and they weren't that great. Also the kids pizza is small. Have cut a deal with my son wrt to pizza and kids menus following the tiny portion .

Without doubt the worst carvery I’ve ever had. The gammon option wasn’t an option, the “roast” potatoes were deep fried to the point where the inside was just full of oil and the outside were as if made of stone. The parsnips weren’t any better either. Again they were deep fried to a very overdone state. The meat was not carved, it was cut into chunks. Cauliflower undercooked and the peas overcooked. All in all, a very poor effort.

We have had the pleasure at spending a couple of days in Weymouth and have visited this pub as it was close to our accommodation. The Morning staff are lovely and the breakfast you can have is worth the money, it is cooked well and there is a good variety and you can go back for seconds 👍. The evening staff seem to be a little bit disorganised. We ordered the Smothered chicken platter x2 with other meals also, but it arrived different with the excuse we have ran out of steak. They did not tell us at the time of ordering so they chose what we wanted, but they did rectify it once we said it was wrong with the option to change it. The pizzas are a little greasy but we’re ok. The bread that came with the prawn cocktail was stale with the edges turned up. They did rectify this when asked. It just meant we ate at different times. On the Bar side we were told they had ran out of Stella and Carling with the bar staff giving Coors as they said it was the same as Carling. It turned out to be Coors light. It is not the same. The next Bar staff member then pulled a pint of Carling. ???? The staff member blamed that the manager had told her the beer was off but did not offer to replace it. The Coors was destroyed at our expense. It may have just been one of those nights. I’m sure this pub will be good or could be better just with a little better communication to the evening staff.

We went here for a weekday lunch as a family of 8. We had booked to eat at 12:45, but we had to wait over an hour for our food. They restaurant is very busy, and we were told there would be a wait when we arrived, but when there are families with small children, over an hour is really a very long wait! We were then missing some of our food items when it finally arrived so had to chase that up. The staff who served us were very friendly, but the service time really needs some work.

Place was busy and waited longer than expected for food, but staff friendly. Toilets were messy and no paper to dry hands.

My family and I visited here for my mum's 60th birthday, whilst on holiday in Dorset. There were 18 of us! Wow. The most accommodating staff, the most beautiful location, and the best food. Despite having to make changes to the booking, and adding food, and the restaurant being fully booked - all the food came out hot and at the same time! The brisket burger was the best I've ever had, and my sister said the duck was the best meal she has EVER had out!! I cannot thank the staff enough for letting us bring cake, sing, blocking off a part of the restaurant for us, being nothing but polite and friendly. I wish I didn't live 4 hours away, because this would be my new favourite restaurant! They were amazing.

Food is a pretty good friendly staff. Service pretty fast. Always use the APP to get the offers of the day. Big Mac and fries are the best thing on the menu with the wrap of the day. Kids love chicken Nuggets and MCFLUFFY to.
