Visited today during a one night stay in Weymouth. Very friendly people and the food was superb. My son and I will definitely visit again. The burgers are excellent.

If I am in Weymouth, always visiting this Kebab place. Always good food in here. I prefer the chicken kebab in here. Really fantastic. Good atmosphere, great service, friendly people.

A Pirate’s Tale of Woe at Istanbul Kebab ⭐☆☆☆☆ Arrr, mateys, gather ‘round and hear the sorry tale of a weary old sea dog who washed up on the shores of Weymouth, starvin’ and desperate for a morsel to fill his belly. The name of this cursed place? Istanbul Kebab. Aye, when I first laid me eyes on that sign, memories of me time in the grand city of Istanbul flooded me mind—visions of spicy lamb, golden-brown shawarma, and feasts that could make a pirate weep with joy. I’d been there in me younger days, when the seas were wild and me beard not so gray, enjoying the finest fare the East had to offer. The thought of sinking me teeth into something as grand as I once had in the bazaars of old Istanbul filled me heart with hope. But alas, me hopes were dashed upon the rocks, just like me ship in the last great storm. With a rumblin’ gut and dreams of savory delights, I ordered a burger, expectin’ a taste of that faraway land. But what they served me, arr, it were no glorious feast. Nay, it was a soggy, pink lump o’ meat, lookin’ more like it had been fished from the bilge than crafted by a skilled hand. The blasted thing looked barely touched by flame, still bleedin’ as if it were just pulled from the depths! The crew manning this sorry excuse for a galley were a pitiful lot—three bumblin’ fools who couldn’t find their way out of a paper map. They fiddled with their cookin’ contraption like it were some enchanted artifact, each lookin’ dumber than the last. One of ‘em, I swear, tried to start the grill like he was casting a spell. I nearly drew me cutlass just to speed things along! But me true suffering began after I’d taken that first ill-fated bite. By the next bell, I was locked in the head, battling a storm within me own bowels. That cursed burger took its vengeance on me, churnin’ me guts like the fiercest of maelstroms. I’d rather be back fightin’ the Kraken than ever touch that foul mess again. So, to all ye fellow sailors and landlubbers alike, heed the words of this old pirate: steer clear of Istanbul Kebab. They promise you the riches of the East, but all you’ll get is the plague of the seas. Save yer coin, or be ready to suffer the same fate as this old salt. In summary: This place be more cursed than Blackbeard’s ghost. If ye value yer stomach and the memory of grand feasts, sail far, far away from this wreck of a food joint. Arrr, ye’ve been warned!

Early delivery very tasty and great quality

Went here and even though fairly priced, not worth it. The meat tasted off, and me and my dad ended up with diarrhea after.

Fairly decent kebab shop. It's a gamble who is working. One of the guys is very efficient and passionate. Another is a bit lazy and likes to try to entertain. Onetime he put chilli sauce on the kebab when I asked for cheese. I can't handle spice. Had to scrape it off and drink milk.

Chips brown you can tell they have just been re-heated. kebab meat barley luke warm, cheese put on top of kebab meat instead of chips. It was ready in 2minutes when request for 20mins collection time, but nonetheless cold all round. If I order to collect I want it hot, I don't mind the wait if its fresh.

I went with friends to buy and while we were deciding what to buy, the person serving treated us badly. very bad attention. I do not recommend it.

Ordered late on Saturday night while away at a caravan holiday with family. Food took over 2 hours to arrive, called the shop 4 times and kept being told it was round the corner or nearly there when clearly is wasn’t! The staff were rude and unapologetic even after me calling 4 times and saying I’d been waiting for 2 hours!! Everything was stone cold and wasn’t cooked properly!! One chicken burger which was inedible as concerned about it not being cooked. But the worst of it was the ‘veggie burger’ which was in fact a fish cake! I am vegan and have not eaten meat/fish in order 8 years, I had one small bite of the burger without realising what it was and when I realised I threw the rest away and had the joys of being extremely unwell for the following 2 days! By far the worst takeaways I have ever ordered in my life! Please do not order from here unless you want to be severely disappointed, ill and hungry! Absolutely disgusting in every way!!🤢

Burger greasy, kebab grisly. Delivery driver rude. Will use Weymouth Kebab again from now on

We have been ordering from this kebab shop for about 3 years,in the last year it has been getting WORSE Today we didn’t get our order and when we rang them up they said they would redeliver it 1 hour later and it’s still not here, TIME TO GO ELSEWHERE

Food was cold on arrival, they sent the wrong pizza. First time they sent the order they forgot my garlic bread. When they sent second order they sent the wrong pizza still. We all couldn't eat together

Awful experience. Waited way over an hour for my food. The driver couldn’t find the house and was calling me asking where I was. I was stood outside the house. He pulls up smoking whilst the food was in his car. My food was cold. I will be taking this further.

Your driver had no idea where he was delivering to, even though your drivers had delivered to the address on several other occasions, also the food was cold once located the driver, had to pick up from different location

Just had kebab delivered which came without salad or sauce and meat wasn't even in the pitta bread so it was a do it yourself kebab.

Really disappointing. Was amazing the weekend before. This time was very dry. All the edge bits and delivered within 15mins of me ordering. No care taken this time.

the food from here is usually really nice however this evening was everything but nice, my burger bun was burnt on all sides to the point I could taste burnt bread over the chicken, chips for some reason we're spicy and way overcooked? the kebab that was ordered was dead cold and all separated into different containers

Absolutely gutted. Order was exactly the same as previous week but this time the meat was as dry as a bone. Clearly the outsides of the meat from the night before. Very disappointing.

best place in Weymouth for pizza , burgers and kebab. never fails with any order. Just a shame he couldn't carry on with his fried chicken so much better than KFC 🤣 And the prices are better than most around. Delivery is the best around too!

paid for a pizza meal , for whole family , missing chips , garlic mushrooms and coke , also pizza was wrong , called as a good gesture to explain and asked the correct pizza and rest of food be dispatched , when second order turned up was missing drink , chips and mushrooms , called again and was told not our fault and that i was rude to complain about our food and made to feel like it was a burden to get the order right , waste of time and money

The food here is great, the owner treats his customers as personal friends, he really cares about them, hes a lovely man and so is his son, plus he always gives me at least one or two free items, plus a discount every time I place an order. They are very kind to their regular customers. The delivery is always early and the food is always delivered hot and presented well. What more could a person ask for.

Istanbul is the kebab place to go for us. but something has changed food is slightly different. plus our order was different ordered diet pepsi diet coke come, ordered kronenberg 1664 440ml and kronenburg blanc with a hint of citrus 330ml come. not too happy as I like this place and there food.

Portion was fair for a large doner kebab apart from tiny hard particles like stone found in my serve. Wont recommend.

The most disgusting kebab I have ever had. Chicken was raw, salad was soggy and pitta bread which comes seperate was like a brick. Honestly no hard feelings but never eat out of here . Absolutely terrible

Unfortunately food was quite cold when I got home, prices seems to change every time although I order the same every time. They always seem to be in a rush although it’s not busy at all, they always look very annoyed and angry. The service is very poor.

Burnt food and did not taste cooked

Food with delivery driver for nearly 30 minutes before it arrived. Food was stone cold on delivery, chips rock hard and cold, kebab was cold!

Over 1 hour and half late and didn’t get whole order

Just finished work ordered a pizza and has to wait 2 hours still no food tried to phone the place 3 times with no awnser wish I didn't bother. Terrible really

The first order, a few weeks back, the actual kebab was missing and all what turned up was 2 cans and onion rings... which for a kebab house makes no sense! I contacted and about 20 minutes later the delivery driver turned up with it... I put it down as a mistake and went to order again a couple weeks later. but it didn't arrive at all.... the system said delivered, I had no phone calls or anything back, I was unable to contact the restaurant at the time, just eat won't respond to the query, and I haven't had a refund for this order at all. Safe to say that trying the order again definitely didn't work out, and that will be the last I attempt to go to this place, especially as there are several other kebab houses in weymouth..

The kebab turned up not even in a pitta. The salad tasted old apart from the lettuce. Ordered my boys 2x chicken fillet burgers, and it was crunchy like he was chewing on biscuits, next thing my boy is nearly sick everywhere, and all I could smell what seemed to be some sort of cat food coming from his burger. Not sure if there’s new owners but will not go back again.

The food was so salty, rang them to explain and they couldn’t care less, wont be going back 😡

Used this place for years as a takeaway delivery service,the last 4 deliveries have been very very disappointing despite adding notes to delivery, cold pizza,rock hard stone cold chips,missing chips and tonight I ordered 6 hot wings and chips plus a pizza,what I got 8 hot wings no chips and cold pizza which was a mess in the box ,sadly I think I have given enough times now and may have to find a new kebab delivery takeaway.....such a shame as used tobe the best

Very disappointed with the portion size. Large kebab had minimum chicken content and chip boxes only half full. Not had this problem before. For the cost of £30.00 the content was not worth this amount
