Marks and Spencer Cafe in Pembrokeshire

Visited 4.15 yesterday with my daughter + grandchildren after school there were no cakes at all, couldn't do toasted teacakes or chips as they had stopped doing hot food , basically all we could have was our drinks , very disappointing as we have been this time before + there has always been plenty there, friends of ours were there said the same. The lad serving us was polite but that's the only positive, I wont be going there again.

We went to the cafe mid morning 5/1/2023 before the rush, wanting a quick break of croissants and lattes before a hospital appointment. The woman making coffee wasn't up to the job. I had to wait (standing) for over 15 minutes ( only two people in front in the queue) and when my turn came I had to explain twice what we wanted as she couldn't seem to grasp the request. The queue behind me built up very quickly. We've seen efficient staff at the counter in the past, but this staff member was monumentally slow and didn't seem to care. Because I have a fractured rib and found standing for so long quite difficult, I nearly had to abandon the whole affair. Don't think we'll be bother going back if we see her on again. I also find it annoying that sometimes there isn't always full fat milk in the fridge when we request it and someone has to go and get it, which takes an age.

Well, I don't know where to start really. Ordered food, sorry havnt got that, ordered something different, sorry have none left.. OK, what have you got? Pointed to the board and said choose.. OK third time lucky.. I'll have a pizza.. yaaay. Im Lucky. Would you like a drink with that? Yes please, can I have a coffee? A flat white, thankyou. Took an age to make my coffee. Paid for the pizza and coffee. I pointed out that he'd overcharged me, oh sorry. He didn't know how to rectify it. Called for help. People in the queue sighing!. Sorted my change out. Took my coffee to find a seat. All the tables were full of dirty plates and cups. I counted 9. So I cleared a table myself. Even using the cleaning fluid and cloth which had been left on one of the tables.. assuming that's for the customers to use? Sat and drank my coffee.. (which was lovely). 20 mins later my pizza was brought out, ooh lovely I thought. I'm starving.. looked at it, it was still in the wrapper. Excuse me, I called as the lady walked away, but do I have to cook this myself? She apologised and took it away. 15mins later, I sat and ate a hot/cooked pizza. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT THIS CAFE AGAIN

Had 2 large breakfasts today, sent them back freezing cold.Another 2 came and got to say they were terrible.If that’s what they call good it was horrible.Coffee was lovely.

We had the big breakfast today which was awful. The bacon and sausages were of poor quality which I did not expect of M&S. The meal was like warm on a cold plate. We won't have another breakfast there but the coffee was good, and hot. We paid top price for a poor breakfast comparing it with other breakfasts in the area.

Service slow , tables uncleared ,order taken incorrectly so charged twice ! When I pointed it out , no apology . Customer service zero !

Every table free covered in dirty crockery Filthy trays at the entrance Nothing we wanted available 1 member of staff on till with long queue and when he asked for help he was yelled at by a female colleague. When we asked him if our table could be cleared he asked a colleague at the kitchen area they all rolled their eyes looked at the mess and went back inside Even though I had empathy for the 1 bloke working he grunted at me when serving and so we cancelled our order and went somewhere else. Absolutely hopeless. Don't waste your time.

The cafe in M&S upstairs has not customer service what so ever. Staff don't work as a time ,there are slow so often I have to wait for so long in a queue. Only some individuals know how to make coffees. There is one member of the staff her name is LIZ,she should not work in customer service at all,she doesn't bother much ,she has chewing gum in her mouth most of the time .

We visit this store every year when on holiday. Every year we go to the cafe. Every year we leave without having a drink. Every single time we go there the queue is enormous - one person on the till and she us also making the coffee. Other people behind the other counter chatting away, leaning on the counter. Nine people in the queue. Nine. He comes out - looks at the queue - does zero about reducing the queue. Leaving the one staff member making drinks and taking the money. Ggggggrrrrrrrr! Went over to Costa walked there and got a drink and some food and that was a shorter time than I stood in a queue in M &S and left when the queue was down to seven. I hate this cafe. Never going to even attempt to go there again! Quality of food and drink - no idea - have never got to the front of the queue to find out. This was a Monday about 9.45am.

I cannot fault the coffee at M&S, it's always good. I usually avoid the food as I'm usually disappointed but on this occasion I'd been to a hospital appointment next door. I was Hank Marvin and opted for the mac & cheese toastie and chips with a black Americano. I almost choked at just under £6 for the toastie!! My god, the profit on that?! My daughters small bottle of fruit juice was nearly £3. The toastie was tasty but the small bowl of fat chips were awful. Pale and undercooked was how I'd describe them. Yes, probably just cooked but who doesn't like a little 'crisp' to their chips? No garnish either but I can live with that. The staff are always pleasant but there are not enough members of staff. Usually there's only one making the drinks and doing the till, clearly could use some help. This has nothing to so with covid as this was the norm before. Marks and Spencer, you really need to get your act together!! I'll stick to coffee only in future as I don't crave disappointment.

Called in for light lunch. I fancied the frittata and some chips and thought they, at least, would be a good option for me. The menu displayed above the tills had no gluten free information on it, so I had to ask the staff. They didn’t know and had to go to the kitchens to ask. Meanwhile, as it was busy, I was getting annoyed looks from the queue behind me. It turns out my only option was a soup and gluten free roll, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I had to send the bread roll back as it was not gluten free. Looking further, there was nothing, absolutely nothing in the way of gluten free products on the display. No sandwiches, no flapjack, no choice of cake. Sorry M & S, this is very poor. I doubt I’ll be returning.

Not coming back at least until Covid regulations end and it might get back to a decent service. Slow to get served only one person per side preparing, this couldn’t have been because of Covid because at one time there were two. Screens everywhere except middle seats where we were told to sit and right next to children.

Wish there was an alternative coffee shop in the vicinity. There is always a queue in Marks and Spencers for a quick cup of coffee.The staff try ,but they are always up against it.The tables had not been cleared,and saw several customers having to clear tables before they could sit down.

Like most customers, l find the staffing levels are very poor, tables are left uncleared so people cannot sit at them. Yet it is often busy as there isn't anywhere else to eat in the retail park. The acoustics are dreadful and now that the extra seating has been removed , due to the expansion of the men's department, there isn't anywhere to enjoy a conversation. Also, people in wheelchairs cannot actually get to a table, if the ones at the entrance are in use.The local population is elderly and enjoy getting out M&S are not listening to their customers.

Fully agree about the staffing levels and tables not being cleared. Only once had scrambled egg and it tasted like powdered egg. Sausages in sausage baps are sliced into 3 and dry out easily when heated up. Imagine they will be hit quite hard when new costa opens up opposite the store and they deserve to be.

Went here on Thursday for lunch, 12.00 to be precise. I know this because my children needed feeding, I have a 6 month old and a very fussy 3 year old with allergies. I ordered a reasonable amount of food for myself and my mother. I asked the member of staff for a round of toast because that’s all my son eats, she said sorry we’ve stopped doing the breakfast menu. “So you cant do a piece of toast?” The server said that she’s double check with the kitchen to see if they could tend to my 3 year olds needs. Can you believe it,the kitchen said NO!!! And something to do with M&S HQ not allowing them to do this very simple task! I’m a chef in a very busy restaurant and I’d never say no to a hungry child, absolutely disgusting!!!! I will never step foot in to you’re establishment again and I will be telling people about my experience and how pathetic your system is!!!! (Has to give you one rating but would of given you a zero if I could) I’d love to have some feedback from you to understand the reason why I got refused a piece of toast)

Arrived at the Cafe to find 1x staff at the coffee machine 1x staff at the till and a que of about 14 people waiting to Order zero sense of urgency. Waited 5 minutes to see no change in staff and zero interest so my wife and I walked out very poor from M&S

This cafe is absolutely shocking, the tables are never cleared away, food waste is left under tables, and the staff are really unhelpful. The manager of the store needs to understand what customer service is all about.

The cafe seems to be understaffed, also scones haven't been available for some time ( bakery in food outlet also closed ). If you want something small to eat there is only a very small selection of high sugar cakes.Staff wear grubby aprons and bring food to the tables holding it with these aprons ! Many of the staff look fed up and disinterested.On the plus side the extra seating away from the noisy area is great.

I do like the new extension, as the noise level is far better and much appreciated. The food has become a little more interesting, but the service is still slow. Coffee is ok if you have the regular size as it gives two shots,a large cup is just more water !

I recently took my ageing parents for an early lunch before a hospital appointment . The shop itself was not too busy but the Cafe as always was . We were acknowledged on arrival and given a tray . There was a queue however both tills were open and 2 people also making the drinks . My parents sat at a table and i was served quite quick .Steve on the till said he would carry the tray for me after noticing my difficulty even though he was very busy . He also was very helpful with my father at the table. The food came quite promptly and was warm and fresh looking . We needed some help to get a glass of water and Chelsey got it for us even though she was busy clearing tables and keeping the place clean . All in all it was a pleasant experience and can only talk highly of the 2 members of staff who helped us make it hassle free .

12.30pm,ready for a snack......M&S,seemed a good idea,but!One person seving with the help of the barista. Long queue,we lost patience and decided that the wait was not worth it.We were not alone in giving it a miss.Two coffees and two slices of cake would have cost over £11.00,so we saved money and Mark's and Spencer lost out.!

Out shopping,weather was very wet so called in to M&S; cafe for a coffee,to get out of the rain.

Greeted with a warm welcome only had a snack and drink food jacket potato was very good chilli filling also good portion could have been larger.

Waited 30 mins for food, went up to see where it was and the order hadn’t gone through. However staff were friendly and when the food eventually arrived my jacket potato had lots of filling.

Following an unpleasant visit earlier this year (July 2018). Today's visit very a lot better. The standard of service and quality of food was great. And the cleanliness of the restaurant was very good too. Lots of tables cleared and the general housekeeping was a massive improvement from July.

We used to love going but now feel the food is below average and rather expensive. The staff seem stressed and overworked. Such a disappointment

Stayed at this hotel with SSAFA volunteers as guests arranged by the charity "Rooms to Reward".

Title says it all. an hour wait for a cold inedible all day breakfast, practically raw mushrooms, cold congealed rubbery scrambled eggs. Horrible experience.

Had our mouths in shape for fish and chips......Sorry not possible said the young lady at the till!

We stopped for lunch here on bank holiday Monday. It was very busy, which was to be expected, but not easy to get a seat. Food was ok but not outstanding and quite expensive.

Great place to eat, Cleanliness first class, as was the service and quality of the food. Staff all smart and friendly. A must visit.

Popped in at 8am to pick up some clothing for our holiday at Bluestone and decided to grab some breakfast at the M & S cafe as can’t usually go wrong and we love Marks as a family. Lovely girl serving said there wasn’t any bacon rolls so looked for an alternative. Fresh scrambled egg was new to the menu and not cheap (£4.50 I think) so thought it may be nice and fresh. Unfortunately both mine and my wife’s were truly inedible as it was dry and with a weird texture. Maybe it was pre prepared or something but never again after this visit. Avoid and go for something else is my suggestion. I don’t normally do bad reviews but this item needs avoiding

We have visited this den of iniquity reasonably regularly when we’re out in Hwlffordd. The car park outside always seems to be packed, even during a week day out of season. All the people...where do they all come from?

The standard of service, the quality of food and the general cleanliness of the Haverfordwest M&S; is shocking.

Cannot fault M&S; restaurant. Go often for coffee, breakfast, lunch, cakes or divine smoothies! Wonderful place to sit after shopping, always end up talking to the most interesting people! The staff is great, very friendly and helpful.

Awful coffee and over over priced cake! The coffee was bitter tasting and undrinkable left it and it wasn't cheap.

Wanted some retail therapy & for a coffee break went to M & S cafe.Very busy but got a table & Service very good.If you just want a quick break then this is for you.Parking was a pain but got one eventually.

This M&S; has an awesome selection of cake, with the chocolate, gold covered, brownies, being the best.

Called in from the hospital for a coffee and cake/scone. The selection was good and I think the free water is brilliant, especially when you order a strong coffee like we did! The cafe is clean and has a nice aspect to it sitting in...

£4 for a sandwich seams a bit dear to me, but maybe I'm just a mean,it was very tasty though. (Apparently I have to say more before the review with send) Will say that the panoramic vista​ from the cafe window of the carpark was not the most inspiring sight to ever gladden my deteriorating eyesight, and that several of the cars seamed abandoned and not really 'parked' sadly a testament to the I'm all right jack mentally that a lot of people have these days.

This is a good place to have some quietness and peace away from kids and its really niceThe food quality is good and good staff.

The M&S cafe will never be a gourmet experience, but we enjoyed a lovely snack lunch today. Fresh coffee, carefully made, and a very pleasant and clean environment. Staff were very helpful and attentive.

Bit shocked by this one to be honest. Might have been an off day but unclrared tables abounded and a long wait through service section. Food and drink were standard M&S but let down by service basics. As my school teacher said to me many years ago 'could do better!'

Have been here a few times in recent weeks & have to give credit where credit is due! The staff are always friendly, welcoming & happy to please. The cafe is always clean & inviting. The freshly made sandwiches are fabulous & the 'luxury' hot cholcolate is one of the best tasting hot chocolates I've ever tasted! Thank you M&S!

As so many cafes close around 5.30pm we chose here to meet an old friend as it is open until about 8pm I think. Good selection of drinks, cakes and light food. Open and airy cafe, clean with friendly staff. Not the cute Pembrokeshire atmosphere for during the day but simple and good for evening.

As usual lovely vist today. Great customer service from Amy on the till. Also spoke to Heidi, we are regulars here. Feel comfortable lovely staff. Great drinks& food, customer service is of high standard highly recommend anyone coming to this M&S cafe.

Called in for afternoon tea, sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee, which was excellent as usual up to M&S standards.

I visited here with a family member whilst shopping in the area. We ordered two jacket potatoes which were very filling. The customer service definitely needs improvement from one of the woman that completes the drink orders. Shouting 'tell me your drink order NOW so I can start them' is hardly appropriate behaviour. What she said wasn't so much the issue but how she said it. If she was flustered then this should not have been taken out on the customer. The café wasn't that busy at the time so there was no reason to be so rushed with the order and as a result be so rude to customers. I would call again but would be mindful of the customer service.

We usually pop into M & S when in the area and have a coffee and scone sometimes a sandwich, usually busy but clean and tidy.

We didn't plan to go here but after an hour or so wondering around the shops we thought we would pop into the cafe. It was around 1pm and there were quite a few free tables and ques were small. The cafe is reasonably sized with a mixture of different tables and chairs, it had a light airy feel to the place which I liked. My friend had a coffee while I had a smoothy. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and we found the staff to be really friendly. Although we didn't have food, the cakes and snacks on show looked amazing and at reasonable prices too. My smoothly was a tropical fruit flavour and was really tasty. I would definitely go back again.

Having read the reviews about the staff being helpful and friendly, thought lets pay a visit, it was around 4pm and there was about twenty people in the Café with only one couple queuing in front of us. Firstly the cakes were an absolute mess, no attempt had been made to cleaned up the display and make it look presentable. Most of the sandwich range and toasties were on display, selected a sandwich and slice of cake in the two for £5 deal, shame the tilling staff are so blissfully unaware of the promo, even though its been running a few weeks now. Went to pay and order hot drinks, a total and utter shambles, it transpires the couple in front had ordered three hot drinks, one of them being simple to produce a pot of tea, but no,ten minutes they had stood there, so long indeed their hot food was served to them at the till and still they did not have their drinks. The tilling operator had no communicational skills, he mumbled, he reached over his colleague producing the hot drinks without telling him, thus creating a injury risk, teamwork there was none, his disbelief when the till dropped from majority price to the offer price, he had not a clue what was going on, struggle to give £3.10 change. Having managed to secure our drinks made for the cutlery, here a member of staff had started to replenish the sugars and other items, but had just abandoned the work, leaving an half empty box over the cutlery and a trolley with other boxes stranded in the aisle. Tables had not been cleared, the floor throughout the Café was in need of serious sweeping, the one member of staff engaged in table clearing spent most of his time talking to a female colleague, when he did cleared a table, no effort was made to wipe down or clean the table for new customers. The section Manager could viewed in the Kitchen area full of his own self importance but did absolutely nothing to get his younger staff members to do anything to improve the situation for customers, indeed the whole store was an utter shambles with the staff totally unaware of the basics and have been given no proper training, if they want to run the store with under 20`s then ensure they are fully trained. The sandwich was fine and so too was the slice of cake, the hot drink was tepid. Toilets the waterless variety stunk to high heaven, a cleaning team member was on the floor and was seen tickling the floor with his lightweight sweeper/broom, he managed to push the dirt right across the menswear department leaving a dirty trail in his wake.

Morning coffee with a friend. Welcomed with a smile by the staff, who are always very friendly & helpful. Good coffee, as always in a fabulous shop. Will be returning again & again. well done to the coffee shop team in M&S Haverfordwest.

The toasted sandwich was excellent and well presented at our table.I had looked forward to a decent cup of coffee at Marks and Spencer,having sampled many cups of badly made coffee in the UK.My coffee was very bitter,for which there is no good excuse.It was badly made by a poorly trained or untrained barista.Complaint made to management,but four weeks later,there has been no response..

My wife and I visit regularly as it is close to home. Service and food are always good and the cafe is bright with good views.

Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile! They have a good knowledge of the coffee and other products on offer., they also know how to make a superb coffee!

Nothing special but a nice place to have a coffee if you're out shopping. Its self service for cake and cold food , then order coffee and hot food, paying before getting a seat. This can leave you wandering with your tray for a while until a table becomes free. The hot food is a bit disappointing, it just microwaved meals for one or tinned soups from what they sell in the food hall downstairs. No effort to add some nice veggies, or sauces etc. just a few salad leaves and bullet hard tomato without dressing. The nice touch was a jug of iced lemon water and glasses behind the service area. Free but crowded parking outside, and next door to Withybush hospital. A nice alternative from the hospital canteen if you're visiting.

My husband and myself had a lovely coffee in the restaurant , staff were very pleasant and the whole area was spotless well done M&S

Located upstairs in a corner overlooking the carpark. Clean with bright, light furniture. Pleasant staff, constantly cleaning. We just had a pot of tea and a slice of cake. The tea was 2 good cups per person, and there are several gateaux to choose from - don't go if you're on a diet !! Was lovely.

A regular coffee or lunch stop. One of the better M & S cafes, it's clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly.

Excellent food, service good,, pleasant staff, CLEAN tidy area,, hot food/cold food available , vegetarian option available, varied choices fat free meals ect, enjoyable lunch.

One of my favourite places to go for a coffee to escape the wet weather or to go for a drink and lunch with a friend. Great location.

Nice area to have a break,lovely coffee but sadly the Victoria Sponge cake is heavy and dry,tried it on another visit same issue.If they make their own in store I suggest they buy it in.I am pleased with most products in M and S but they need to look at their cafe

Excellent place for a drink and maybe a snack while shopping, staff always pleasant , only criticism sometimes takes a while to clear tables.

I quite often pop into Marks & Spencer when I shop in Haverfordwest as you can normally rely upon them to provide good produce and a good service. I have however been disappointed on the last two occasions when I had herbal teas served in a chipped / cracked teapot. Both times I had to ask for a replacement and they had to look through a few before they eventually found one that was crack free. The restaurant is on the first floor and there are plenty of tables to sit at. I was there in the afternoon and there were a few tables covered in plates and packages etc and were waiting to be cleared. The staff I have to say were brilliant but clearly rushed off their feet.

Had two pieces of coffee and walnut cake awful. Unable to finish dry as a bone. It was about 430pm and the restaurant needed sweeping out and cleaning

It is the usual fare for Marks so can be relied on for good coffee and cake in pleasant surroundings.

They make coffee as you pay, hot fresh but make you all wait at one till. I asked the gentleman if there is only one till available who promptly said no problem I will sort that out straightaway. Unfortunately the young girl who manned the second till seemed like she had been disturbed from facebook or something. She had called the till open, when I stepped to be served she indicated "that lady is before you" (the lady that was qued ahead but happily joined me after I asked for more assistance). I just pointed out we would all still be queing if I had'nt asked for more assistance. Embarrasing for both the lady and I - training might be beneficial.

Despite being in a chain store, this cafe is probably the best one in Haverfordwest, especially if you like good coffee. The standard of its food is also good, though I tend to only go there for coffee and perhaps a cheese scone, which I would recommend. There is also ample seating with a good view. The only downside is the style of service found in all Marks and Spencer cafes; customers have to wait in a queue while their coffee or other drinks are prepared. Because the coffee is prepared very carefully, this sometimes means that a long queue develops, especially at certain times of day, which can be very tedious.

Lovely cakes and excellent coffee but there is always a queue waiting for hot drinks, often the hot food comes out before the coffee is ready. Even when there are a number of ladies making the drinks it seems to make no difference. I have been many times but am now actively seeking out other places to avoid having to wait so long.

M&S cafes are the same wherever. Consistently good food and drink. This one is particularly busy. The coffee machine is situated in the middle of the cafe and is very loud.I prefer to support local independent cafes wherever possible

We use this cafe often when visiting Haverfordwest, often with family. The staff are always charming, coffees consistently good, and food lovely and fresh. Today I had baked potato and as it was small they served a potato and a half with plenty of filling. Fresh salad garnish with their own dressing. Everything can also be bought downstairs in Food. The only downside is that it can get very busy with not enough tables and long queues at certain times. But staff always do their very best to serve everyone fairly, and warn of any delays waiting for food.

This is a great place to pick up a good, quick lunch while shopping. `The prices are decent, and the food fresh and delicious.

Great selection of coffee teas and cakes. Very clean with toilet facilities . All reasonably priced. This is very busy because people visit from the hospital next door .

Tried the jacket potato with mushroom stroganoff it was very good!! It was accompanied with a salad and a small pot of salad dressing. The potato was microwaved which was a bit of a shame so much better when cooked in the oven! But over all it was an excellent veggie option!

Not many interesting options for a lunch, especially if you wanted something warm and gluten free (like I did).There were no surprises - M&S cafes are homogenous and almost identical and this one did nothing wrong, it just didn't do anything spectacularly, memorably right. It just pales into an average background.

My husband and I are regular visitors to the M & S cafe in Haverforwest, usually just for coffee and cakes. Cakes are wonderful, but the coffees have been hit and miss, depending on who serves you. My main gripe with this place is that they fail to clear tables after customers have left. We have had to clear tables before we sit down. Also, how can staff walk around the restaurant and see these tables needing to be cleared, but ignore the mess? However, staff are always pleasant and if a slice of carrot layer cake wasn't 23 points on Weight Watchers I would gladly stuff it in my face all day!

OK shop cafe - handy for nearby hospital, free parking etc. Pleasant seating area, and nice touches like water jugs with slices of lemon. The hot food seems to be microwaved meals and soup from the foodhall downstairs. I asked for soya milk but was declined. They sell it instore so it would have been much hassle to provide it.

As my title suggest, M & S Cafe is a typical style cafeteria, nothing special about it with hordes of people standing around the food displays trying to decide what they want. Meanwhile you know what you want but can't get it because there's a horde of people in front of you, trying to decide what they want!! Then stand in line while little old ladies fiddle with their purse trying to count out the exact amount of their order in order to pay. Then walk around looking at empty tables that haven't been cleaned while you look for somewhere to sit. Typical Cafeteria fare!!

A fire alarm went off whilst visiting this cafe last weekend. No one did anything for a few minutes, staff carried on, but there was a woman by us with dementia and another in a wheelchair. Eventually we were asked to make our way downstairs, only to be told we could go back up. We returned to finish our coffee and our booth and the wheelchair customers had also lost our seats! It was very unsafe practice if there had been a fire....why no tannoy at very least? Coffee was fine.

I visited the cafe today with my aunt around 4pm. We purchased a coffee and a cake and sat near a window. I had to clear a table myself in order to be seated. I counted 9 empty tables full of trays and used cups & plates. These were not emptied for the half hour we were seated. I counted 4 staff on duty and although they appeared busy, I could not see what they were doing, they were not at all organised although very pleasant. The temperature in the cafe was extremely high and lots of customers appeared to be complaining. This was my first visit and next time I think I will go further down to Costa.

Cakes and hot snacks are fresh and tastey. The coffee is a little weak for my taste. The staff are always smiling and friendly.

I often pop in for a coffee here while shopping. It has a lovely atmosphere and a nice view. The cakes are lush and the staff are very friendly.

Good food as always (when you get to eat it) till and queing system is flawed! They need to consider relocating the tea and coffee service to the under utilised "hot food" counter. This would mean that the rest of us buying a cold drink crisps, sandwiches and a kids meal can zip through the checkout. Dedicated checkout staff at peak times would also help. The staff were great and very helpful consistently apologetic for the delays at the till!

Great place to stop for lunch always clean and the food and service are alway good standard. The only downside is my wife is left refreshed to return to shopping!

Sorry, M&S, but we often go to Costa in Debenhams now for our drink/cake or light lunch. However, we have been visiting the M&S café regularly ever since it opened. It can be crowded at times and the queues fairly long, but the drinks/food are always good. The staff are excellent and I love the atmosphere. Go in the evenings if you want a quieter meal and a choice of tables!

The drinks and cakes were fine, but don't go if you are in a hurry. Its stressful from beginning to end, and the ordering and payment system confusing and slow. If you want food and drinks you end up queuing twice.

Lovely. Excellent coffee, excellent cakes, excellent everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Out of town parking. Free WiFi.
