Markham's Fish And Chips in North Lincolnshire

We often go here and think it can't get any better but then they surprise us and it does. You can't go wrong here folks. We'll be back.

Not happy with the food it was over cooked there was hardly any fish in the fish in batter the batter was over cooked, chips greasy, the food was not good feed it to my dogs, will not be going there again

Obviously Covid means that you have to queue, unless of course you're well known and a regular and ring an order in !!!!! The food is generally good but the portions can only be described as average. You're certainly able to eat the lot, even if you weren't necessarily hungry.

Fish and trips as we were late home from work. Freshly cooked and lovely batter and plentiful pile of chips

Always perfectly cooked fish. When family who live in Surrey and Lancashire visit they can't believe how good the fish tastes. They can't get anything as good where they live and it's a real treat for them. Staff are so friendly and know us by name.

excellent quick service for top quality...... easy to find on Messingham main street. Do not expect better to exist anywhere !!

Fantastic fish and chips! George and the girls so friendly great service nothing too much trouble. Don’t mind the queue it’s worth the wait!

This is the best fish shop for miles. I come 2 miles to this fish shop as ours are terrible. The fish is lovely as are the chips. Friendly staff too with always a smile and a joke .you can also buy what they call a special, which is a smaller portion of fish and chips. Sometimes the normal size is too much.

Fantastic little chippy never lets you down. Great value and lovely staff always made to feel welcome . I live at the other end of Scunthorpe but wouldn't use any other chip shop but this one .

Brilliant fish and chips, worth the drive from scunthorpe. I wouldnt go anywhere else. It is always busy and that speaks for itself.

Just moved into the village and looking for a quick tea. What fantastic value for really good fish and chips. Long queues at peak times, as others have remarked. But I'll happily join the queue again.

This has to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. Busiest times are around tea time as they don't stay open very late. In comparison to other local fish and chip shops, Markham's seems to be considerably cheaper despite the high quality of food on offer. Very friendly service, highly recommended

Really excellent quality and very reasonable prices. The queues on Friday teatime says it all! We've been regular customers for years and the quality has never changed. Service with a smile too.......Not a restaurant, only takeaway.

Visited here on Good Friday, had to queue outside as it was so busy. Fantastic fish and chips and service with a smile, what more could you want! Will definitely be back again soon.

Fish and chip special with peas and scraps is outstanding quality and costs just £2-55. Staff are superb. We drive several miles out of our way to go to Markhams. Been around 4 dozen times. Consistency terrific.

recently tried this chippy after being recommended by a family member, it's only a small place & the queues were out the door but well worth the wait...the haddock & chip special was very reasonably priced & the fish was battered & cooked beautifully, I added mushy peas & these were probably the best mushy peas I've ever tasted! needless to say I am now a regular visitor! be warned parking is horrendous but worth the hassle!

Si no es el mejor fish and chips tiendas alrededor por millas. Una pequeña tienda y siempre hay una cola. Puede ser difícil de conseguir aparcado fuera ya que está en Messingham High St.

The fish and chip are the best in the area. Customers travel from far and wide to buy these. The staff are very friendly and always up for a bit of banter. Friday evening are always busy so expect to queue, it will be worth waiting for.
