The coffee machine is very slow if there are many at breakfast. The dash across the courtyard in the rain for the evening meal was a bit much.

The Angel is smack bang in the middle of Chippenham town centre. A plush looking hotel with a fitness club. The public bar & restaurant serve meals, snacks and drinks. Very nice coffee available and a good range of beers. Always immaculately clean, warm & comfortable. Just a shame they had run out of cakes to go with our coffees on Saturday afternoon.

Hands down the best burgers I've ever eaten. I've had burgers in BBQ joints in the US and in Hamburg and nothing comes close to these monsters. 500/10. Staff amazing too. Can get the best burger of your life, banging fries and a pint for under £20 - can't beat that value

OdstockGreat beer, warm welcome, lovely warm stove and above all..... HOT FOOD ON HOT PLATES! So few chefs bother heating the plates and the food goes tepid within minutes; thank you for a delicious meal served HOT.
