Worst experience I had mainly security guys not well behaved If we are not drinking they told just get out, pushing out forcefully This is not fair check out cc tv recording at 1:20 am to 2:45 am

One of the best clubs in newcastle area,Just the dj is little boring,best place to enjoy with your friends especially during the weekends the crowd is great,Food takeaways are also available closeby,Can get down at haymarket or monument station and its 5-7 minutes walking distance from there.

Bouncers and all are lovely like people say, just understand that when you order a ‘treble vodka’ you’re getting a single shot of actual vodka, MAXIMUM. 9 quid for 3 trebles is nowhere near as good as it sounds. Very very very watered down.

Well the fact that you can’t choose a song from 2000 pm was at a great loss filled up later but could have made about 40percent more revenue if it had a choice of song rather than a prologue !!!!

Disgusting establishment! Bouncers are nothing but thieves and bullies 😡 they stole my daughter’s passport at the door and refused to return it!! Now we are all deeply concerned by his actions and most importantly his intentions with her identity!! Definitely a place to avoid, very shady and completely illegal activities occurring here! Not worth the risk! Stay away!!

Unsafe place to be, disgusting that a young man was brutally attacked and is having life saving surgery as we speak, the security staff didn’t even throw the men out. Didn’t call the police. This place is unsafe, no care for customers and an attack can happen and the security don’t do anything.

Usually so busy that you can't get around. Music varies between pretty good and meh. Drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is pretty good. More of a stop off than a destination for me.

I don't think I'm the target audience. But a great bar early doors. If you need a central location to start your evening which isn't too busy. Or a smoking terrace that's normally quiet. With a decent beer selection this a great place. Its apparently a bar aiming for the later night crowds can't comment it as a night spot. But had many a decent early evening pint

What a day out yesterday for the Bigg Market reunion

More kids on the weekend than kikis cabin. Drinks are most certainly diluted. 10 jäger bombs id be speaking Russian, but instead had to endure the rest of the night still no drunk enough to forget where I am.

Affordable place with no entry fee. During weekends it is amazing place to enjoy with teenagers. Fully crowded and have a good party

Good place, music always bangs, floors always sticky but that's how I like it. I love the fight to get to the bar it's my weekly workout. Drinks I'm pretty sure are diluted somewhat but regardless it's still cheap and gets you sufficiently tanked up. Bouncers are friendly too I lost my phone here once and they kept it save for me when I found it the next day so I appreciate that. Outside area is nice to

On their social media pages they said no tickets required but on the door they asked to pay tickets, that’s dishonest and disappointed.

Big bar good outdoor space beer is good staff helpful.

Vibes are amazing inside 10/10. Bouncers absolutely awful. One in particular had absolutely no awareness of drink awareness insofar as safety of people walking home alone. Really need better training and more consideration for women.

Inconsistent cocktails..two espresso Martinis one half full and the other with no head. Not enough gomme?? not great

10/10 bar. I lost my house keys one night and was so relieved when I collected them the next day - thanks to a legendary bouncer spotting the keys and putting them behind the bar.

We were invited to Market Shaker for a leaving party. My friend and I are mature ladies but young at heart however we were not looking forward to meeting here, how wrong we were! For us the staff made it, they are young men and woman all working hard but have the art of being able to speak to the clientele, not robotic at all and certainly not ageist. I’m sure they’ll remember me as we had double Absolut vodka with BOTTLED slim line tonic, a rarity Apparantly ??? The glasses 10/10 great drink prices fantastic. The young man who served me more than once had great personality and was “ fun” his name was Ruaridh ( I asked him to write it down) as I believe in giving good feedback when it is deserved. We left a little earlier than the young ones having had a fab evening and I would have no qualms coming back hopefully to get the sun in that amazing outside area. Well done staff keep up the good work 😘

great bar and location. worst bar staff i’ve ever experienced. arrived at 9pm when it was empty and staff were gossiping rather than severing customers. took me asking staff to serve me rather than being attentive. new girl with blonde hair was very rude and vaping behind the bar on service. took another girl to come take over because she didn’t know what she was doing. please train you staff before employing them!

If you ever want a flashback to that growing up stage of life and let your brain washed than Market Shaker is a top pick! The venue is poorly built. Due to lack of vents, you don't have enough air to breathe. Therefore you're left with no choice but to drown in armpit sweat and gut smell. If you're lucky you can slide yourself on vomit pile to bar where you wait for a pint half n hour. All the decoration and neon lights are just a cover up the fact that this place is an utter disaster.

Had a great time here with my friends! Has lots of seating inside and also has a nice outdoor area. The door staff were really friendly.

Bouncers are awful. One being rude to me and my cousin when we were refused entrance because they had ‘no walk ins’ when it clearly said on the website they had plenty availability for walk ins, that they didn’t care in the slightest if we could get in or not. Unprofessional to have someone with that attitude on the door.

This is a great bar, not too far from the station so a good starting point when arriving in Newcastle. The pizzas are great and cooked well. Plenty of nice beer on tap. Can't fault it

The beers are good and seats are comfy. There is almost no phone signal inside which isnt ideal for ordering on an app.

Really cool space, nice big beer garden out the back. Plenty of drink choices and reasonably priced. Only downside is the app regularly crashes.

Excellent evening out. Came with my friend Clive and we were treated really well by the staff. Great beer garden with an excellent vibe. Good crowd, decent beer. Strongly recommend.

It's ok. Quite Industrial inside, ok music (maybe I'm too old). The bar itself looks very cool, I didn't go outside to the garden. To be fair I very much doubt I'm within their target audience. But if you are <35 I think you probably may love it, particularly at night.

Spent more time on ap trying to order drink which took 30 mins to come!! Wanted pizza but couldn't order as only one chef on duty so they were overwelmed and closed ordering ( at 7.30pm on a sat night!!!

Decent tunes, nice but pricey drinks, service takes a lot of time and is poor- and in addition condescending messages from staff on insta when you're let down with promises from them and try to mention it. Toilets supposedly 'good' but not actually checked, ie poor. Loved it when it was a club but poor as a restaurant/bar.

Despite ordering drinks on app, which is technically foolproof, they still couldn't get an order right. When I went to bar to sort, duty manager seemed to think it was OK to mess it up, despite clear instructions, claiming it was their first day. It wasn't. They also kept half the mixers we'd paid for because the plastic beakers they serve in were full. If you enjoy a great bar, with excellent drink choice, and good service, I'd just walk on by this one.

All I can say is wow !! The most amazing owner ever, went above and beyond and was so helpful, so lovely we loved him. Shaker love ❤️

Not usually my type of place, but it was pretty decent. Very busy but staff were doing there best to serve and get drinks out quickly. The gas heater next to us ran out but someone was quick to get it going again. Bouncers were very responsive to people not sticking to there selected tables.

Good drink selection, nice covered area. But been twice now and no pizzas both times as ran out of dough. Would recommend coming for drinks but if not planning food.

we’ve come in for my friends birthday on a rainy day and had plans of staying all night. However having booked 2 weeks before we were sat on a cold and raining table. We asked many people if we could move to the tables that were free with heaters and everyone said no sorry no chance tables are randomly allocated. As a group we said one last chance we will ask someone to move and if they say no again we will leave. A lovely girl Joelle (with a beanie on) finally listened to us and heard what we were saying. She got her colleague to move us and then we were happy and stayed the night warm and enjoyed my friends bday. so hats off to Joelle!! LEGEND!

Great place, they’ve really but the time and effort in since the revamp. Really large outdoor area with tents so you don’t have to get wet, easily the most popular bar for students. Fair prices and good service. Overall great place for pre drinks, dates and even to go out in. Also they fully comply with COVID rules which is great

Booked via snapsaver app. On arrival was told that they no longer support snapsaver, they had out contact details and we paid £20 deposit for table, they could have contacted us PRIOR to arriving. Instead they assumed it would be okay.

Myself and my partner were here the other day. All the necessary safety precautions were there too with was nice to see. Couldnt fault the doorstaff, especially the young lad outside named brad. He Made us feel very welcome and was happy to answer all our questions regarding opening times and how to use the app. We will be back.

Brilliant environment, very professional doorstaff. Very clear one way system that people actually stick too unlike some bars. Massive outdoor area around the back with huge fire pits. The go to place when visiting Newcastle!

Best bar in Newcastle. The only place that fully complies with COVID-19 guidelines to keep staff and customers safe. Great tunes and amazing pizza.

Dog friendly. Great bar in the city centre with a huge outdoor terrace and super safe one way systems and temp checks on entry. Order drinks from your table. Very industrial feel inside with lots of exposed concrete beams and ceilings. Great choice of drinks. Beavertown a highlight for me.
