Mario's Pizzeria in Cambridge

Ordered pizza via Deliveroo - was promised it in 40 mins. Turned up over 3 hrs late when we had gone to bed. No refund through the restaurant or Deliveroo. Both saying the other are responsible. Stay clear of both!

I've never had any issues with Deliveroo before but on Friday, 30 Sept. I placed an order from this place at 6:53pm which was scheduled to arrive at 7:35pm. By 8pm the order hadn't arrived so I called the number provided by Deliveroo but I got no answer. After trying to call them more than 20 times, I asked for help through the chat service from Deliveroo and Russel John from the help team also tried to call them but he got no response. So we decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. Deliveroo said that they had to investigate this and get back to us after 72hrs. On Sunday, Deliveroo emailed us saying that they had contacted Mario's Pizzeria and that they said that they delivered the order 30 minutes after it was placed! This was obviously a lie because we and Deliveroo tried to called them after 1hr and still didn't receive it! I don't mind the money lost but please don't lie.

Food arrived over an hour and a half late and it arrived 2 hours and 40 minutes after we had placed the order. The staff members were refusing to answer their phone, therefore we had no idea what was happening with our food or if we would ever receive it. The food was stone cold and the garlic bread was rock hard. Avoid where you can.

Ordered via Uber eats. Pizza was incredible and the milkshake was the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to try it again when I’m next in Cambridge!

I ordered 2 pizzas tonight,they were greasy, tasteless and very salty!! They forgot to put tomato sauce on one of the pizza!! I basically paid that much for a garlic bread and cheese!! The person I talked on the phone was very rude and had no idea about customer service skills!! I will never order from them again!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

They are my go-to pizza for delivery! Always super fast service and the pizza is so good! 100% recommend!! They've become a weekly feature in my dinner times!
