Great good with even better service, a must visit spot in Loughborough

Food was average, I'm writing this whilst sat on the toilet with the two bob bits, won't be getting a kebab again from here.

Mid food, and failed to give me proper change.

Friendly service and affordable pizza and they didn’t skimp out on toppings

First lot of food came not cooked,rang them and they were rude,second lot of food came cooked but well over cooked,delivery was brilliant tho

The food is good and fresh but overpriced . They charge you for everything and the deals / buckets are quiet poor quantity . For pizzas they use very cheap and poor quality ingredients and deli . I gave 5* only for food .

Love their food and can always rely on them to be open when I get the late night munchies! My usual deliver driver Clive is such a sweetheart too, he always brings my food upstairs (I think in a block of apartments) and he’s very polite. I always recommend Mario’s if you want nice food, quick delivery and affordable prices 🥰

Went after a night out with my boyfriend. Arrived at Mario’s and it was rammed so we stood behind the last people in the queue. We got to the front and were ready to order so we said so as this is what people ahead of us had done, but the guy behind the counter said to me and my partner “get in the the queue” despite us waiting 20 mins already and being in a queue, he decided the queue was to the right. Luckily for us, the guy to the right of us said we could order first so they took our order. Food was unreal (jalapeño poppers) but service was awful considering we were in the queue for 20 minutes was really rude to say “get in the queue” as if we’d pushed to the front and not waited. Really really poor and let’s down the whole experience. Will order again bc the jalapeño poppers slap but just not okay Mario if you treat us this way next time we will not return

Anyone reviewing this place as if they expected Michelin star quality is missing the main appeal of Mario's, which is the service. The food is pretty standard for a cheap takeaway, but they've never once let me down on delivery, even in the middle of the night. Plus they do a great 2-for-1 deal on pizzas. I would definitely recommend to any students up late working (or, let's be real, coming out of the club next door)

Worst takeaway in Loughborough. Waited almost 2 hours for 2 pizzas to turn up stone cold never again .. absolute shocking place

Have been ordering here for the past few years and the food is always a good hangover cure, or if you have late night hunger. A few times when the food has been a bit sub-par but other than that, great place!

Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible restaurant. Ordered on Uber Eats. Never arrived. Waited more than an hour after the expected delivery time when I called and they said the driver didn't want to come. Tried to force me to cancel the order on Uber so they would still be compensated for the delivery. A real disappointment after traveling all day, and especially considering they were the only restaurant in the area open late.

We walked in and asked for a deal that is online and they said it cost more. They said the offer is wrong on there website. Told us half hour wait which is ok. But took over an hour. They were too busy talking to other people that walked in not to buy

Waited almost 1.5hours for a pizza. We had to ring twice to find out where the food was and each time was told it will be arriving soon. There was no apology and instead the man stated we were being rude and hang up. Poor service, will not be ordering from there again

It was open in the evening on Christmas Day, which was wonderful! Ordered a pizza on-site, and despite them being very busy (many phone orders were being received), the pizzas and side orders were prepared quickly and were served hot. Most importantly, tasted great!

Took forever to arrive. Didn’t even give me part of my order. Chicken was pink. Imagine having to cook your own takeaway. Food did arrive after 2 hours but I’m wishing it didn’t if I’m being honest.

Would be a 0/5 if possible. Attitude of the staff is disgusting. Ordered food for delivery, never arrived. Called to find out where my food was and was hurled abuse at down the phone by their so called manager who refused to give his name. Don't go here unless you really have to. I just ordered chips and cheese from marios on Christmas Eve and took a taxi home, 5 minute journey. Got home and the food was stone cold. Rang to ask them what went on and they hung up.

Don't go to this place, used to be good place for food during late night. Tried a chicken burger after half a year, the chicken was not freshly fried and the bread was cold, asked the staff to give some galic sauce but end up forgetting to give sauce. I had the worst burger in my life, had to throw it away after three bites

Incorrect items... The delivery guy completely useless. Phoned back up for my missing items and they came back reheated and cold. Very very disappointed with this restaurant. Even the guy on the phone didn't give a toss. Maybe refocus your business back onto the customer side because your food isn't anything special either.

Fantastic service & pizzas from Mario's tonight. Nothing was too much trouble when we ordered 35 pizzas - ALL of them were hot & tasty. Each and every pizza was eaten - nothing left. Thank You Mario’s.

Cheap n cheerful. They are open very late and are quick with deliverys. However sometimes the food is hit n miss can b alright or bad. Had tough chicken twice afta having great 1 1st time.

Our order took two hours to arrive due to an apparent problem with their 'system' and when it did finally arrive an item was missing with no effort made to rectify it. Above all, the food was tastless, soggy and looked like it was put together with leftovers which I suppose is what gets served to all the hoards of drunken students! We've had some excellent meals from Mario's in the past however after this awful experience we will never order from here again. Very disappointing.

Tried to scam me after a night out. I ordered the meal deal 2 and they only gave me 2pcs and chips. When I asked about the 3 missing wings, they said the menu had changed, pointing at a sign they’d supposedly put up. There was no sign ://

Me and a friend got pizzas an hour ago from here. We left to go opposite ways on getting to my hotel I opened the box to discover the base was barely cooked and the topping was not cooked. It was not hot, the cheese was not melted. This pizza was dragged out of oven far too soon. I phoned my friend and his way the same.

Hello, My friends and I went to Mario's after a night out. It was absolutely packed, which looked very stressful for the staff. They got through orders like champs though despite the Chads screaming in the back 😊 Just wanted to say good luck and thank you for the yummy food xoxo

Ordered via UBER EATS. used a £15 voucher. Food arrived without the buy one get one free pizza. Called the restaurant to be told you cannot get BOGOF if you have used a voucher. No where is this stated and I wouldn't have picked this restaurant at full price because the pizzas are greasy and WELL OVERPRICED. guy on the phone was rude. Go elsewhere and save your money.

Before I placed my order I called the place asking if the Calzone is BOGOF (as it’s a type of pizza) and they said yes. After that I ordered food via JustEat, and the food was late by 20 minutes! I called them before it arrived and they said it’s arriving shortly. Once it’s arrived they only gave me one Calzone, so I called them again where is the other one? They said they made a mistake and they send out another one very shortly. So, I waited. Nothing came after half an hour and then I called them again, asking where is my 2nd Calzone? They started to arguing with me that only the pizza’s BOGOF and I asked for a pizza in the entire time. I was literally told off, also once they finished telling me off they just hang up on me. The guy on the phone was so rude and out of 4-5 phone calls they hang up on me 2x once they finished talking. Very bad customer service! Do not order from here if you want a good experience.

Don't know what's happened to this place ,used to be good service. Ordered a pizza was 45 mins later than it should of been ( I'm waiting to go to work) not the drivers fault ,but I asked for an explanation and or some form of discount ( I know they wouldn't have to but thought they would offer some apology or compensation). Instead I heard the guy in the phone tell the driver " if he doesn't want it bring it back ". So I decided not to have it. And picked up Dominoes instead . Also worked out cheaper with the deals they have on.

Personally think food from here was to be the best in Loughborough. Great service always on time and polite when speaking to them. Definitely recommend.

AVOID ... Had to wait almost 2 hours for two kebabs , chips , garlic bread . After 1.5 hrs I called to enquire where it was but the assured me a few more minutes . Half an hour later it arrived , obviously been sitting in the side as the meat was barely warm , the salad was warm and soggy , it was dripping in fat and bad quality meat . Chips and garlic bread barley warm and soggy . It was all vile ended up in the bin . Wish I could add photos of the absolute slop .

Pizza is really good and reasonably priced, will keep going back. I would recommend picking up or ordering in the shop as the delivery is really slow.

Decided to try Marios for a change and wish i hadn't, I ordered pizzas for my family and it was 45 mins late, cold and no apology, not even offered anything free or money off so think I will be ordering from my normal place as they actually deliver when they say, the food is HOT and better service.

This place does seriously good pizza. Tastiest dough in Loughborough by far.

Fantastic food and great service as usual I've been ordering from marios since 2017,but previews owner was so rude when ever they send me food something was missing and when I call they wer so rude on the phone.

AVOID!! Had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes, for delivery of just 2 pizzas and some chips!! Had to call Mario Pizza in Loughborough, two times to chase up the order. No apology from the delivery guy. Large chips were tiny and consisted of soggy thin fries. Pizzas were undercooked as well. Ordered at 6:55pm, didn't get the food to just gone 9:30pm. Avoid!

Ordered two meal deals, my friends was hot, my mine was cold, we also ordered two tubs of Ben and Jerry's ice-cream, we paid but only received one tub of ice-cream... Absolute discraceful and do not appreciate it what so ever. I will think again in ordering from this restaurant again!

Have ordered from here a couple of times, first time was horrendous....food took ages to arrive and was cold and not all there. Told they would replace it but picked our order up first then had to wait again for delivery, staff were very rude on the phone and said we were lying then blamed us for the food being cold?! Overall took about 2 hours before we had our food. Gave them a second chance...food turned up within the hour but again was cold!! Do not order from here!!!

Ordered food at 7pm, told it would be 45 - 55 minutes, after phoning them for a 2nd time at 8:30pm to ask where my food was it finally arrived at 8:45pm. Had to be heated in microwave as it was barely even warm, very very very disappointing.

This is perfect for a late night dinner, I’ve ordered so many times and only once got my order wrong and forgot my one piece chicken, but came in less then 10 minutes with extra chips and an extra chicken and two extra drinks, thank you, and eating from here is so nice

Good delivering time however poor food. Ordered a Mario’s special which seemed to be a good deal but the chicken wings was forgotten and the garlic bread was burnt. Don’t recommend.

Great food and prices, quick delivery

The best pizza place, simply put. Quality dough and with fresh ingredients. Employees go to great lengths to satisfy customers and ensure successful order completion. I was running late to my national express coach, and the pizza cook ran to me all the way at the coach stop, pizza and change in hand and everything, Give that man a raise! If you go to Loughborough uni, look nowhere else!

Good may be cheap but the pizza are very greasy. Delivery sometimes are slow and chips always cold. Ordered a few times, messed up order and promised more food on next order. Didn't get extra food as promised. Never ordering from here again. Disgusting and never again. Go buy from other chicken stores instead.

Pizza and kebab were not good choices. The order took a long time to arrive. Card machine was not available. Telephone service needs improvement.

Not hygienic be surprised if they have a good score on hygiene certificate. Found hair in food and seriously too much salt which means food ingredients are old, nothing fresh at this place
