I eat almost everyday in this restaurant and i am satisfied with the taste and quantity of the food….

**Amazing Pizza and Friendly Service!** I recently visited Mario's Pizza on Fosse Road, and I was thoroughly impressed! I recently had the pleasure of trying a pizza from MARIO PIZZA, and it was outstanding! The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tomato sauce was rich and flavourful, and the generous layer of cheese melted beautifully. and you could really tell the ingredients were high quality. The service was also fantastic, with friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. Terrible Service and Rude Staff - Avoid! We ordered from Mario Pizza through Uber Eats, and it was an absolute disaster. The delivery was already past the estimated time, so we called the store just to ask for an update. Instead of a polite response, the person on the phone was incredibly rude and aggressive, shouting at us and hanging up! Every time we called back, he’d realise it was us and shout even louder before slamming the phone down. Eventually, we were told the delivery driver was outside, but that was a complete lie. After more than 2 hours past the expected delivery time, the food finally arrived. By then, we had completely lost our appetite and were just left disappointed and frustrated. To top it off, later that night, I received a creepy text message from someone at the store named Farzad, which was just bizarre. I had to block the number. Avoid this place at all costs – the service was beyond unacceptable.

I have ordered first time and was delivered in 20 min. Hot and delicious pizza.

Never ordering from these ever again, Ordered a burger with a side of chips and a cake with Tango. All i got was the burger and the cake. Absolutely shocking service. Took 1 hour for the cheese burger as well and i was super shocked. When it arrived and i could barely taste anything from it. Prices are also rediculous as well Advice: Never order from here.

NEVER EAT FOOD FROM HERE. Worst takeaway I've ever had the displeasure of eating. My wife's pizza wasn't even the correct pizza, the food was freezing and all the food tasted like it'd been handled with RAW CHICKEN. Worst kebab I've ever tried: gross, old, gamey meat. Absolutely shameful. Soggy, undercooked chips. Dry over cooked popcorn chicken. Won't be surprised if I'm vomiting it all up tomorrow! And I repeat: NEVER EAT FOOD FROM HERE.

Food turned up and burger was raw. Large chips is barely any chips. Worked out the price at £26 but they scammed us out of £36 instead. Disgusting never again

I hate to leave a bad review but I was really disappointed tonight. We ordered via Ubereats to treat our daughter to a pizza who was patiently waiting. Then 20 minutes later I went in the app to check the delivery time and it said our order had been cancelled but due to them already ‘starting’ the order it was still charging us over £30 as a cancellation fee. I panicked I’d accidentally clicked something to cancel so quickly rang them and the man I spoke to on the phone was almost laughing at me saying there’s no way he’d deliver to our address as it’s too far (15 mins away) and was being really patronising calling me ‘love’ with his sarcasm. Firstly why do they allow me to order if I’m too far away? But if they’d have rang me immediately to apologise for the mistake I would have respected that. The fact they didn’t even get in touch and luckily I went back on the app otherwise I wouldn’t have even known. We had to then place another order elsewhere and finally got some food 2 hours after the initial order. The customer service is what failed them here. I think it was a blessing in disguise as reading the numerous 1* reviews left about how awful the food tastes was maybe a dodged bullet.

I do not recommend you to eat here! I bought a pizza here and I had a little left and I was getting to the hospital! I stayed in bed for 3 days! It is not acceptable and recommended to eat from them! ALTERED FOOD

Managed a few slices before I couldn’t handle the grease anymore. Very little flavour and the cheese pretty much fell off when I picked up a slice. Plenty of decent pizza places nearby would recommend those instead.

Delicious food and always delivered food warm and fresh.

I've reported this place ordered and asked for no peppers on pizza as allergic and the pizza came with peppers and then in the milkshake was a chuck of black rubber! Absolutely disgusting place

First of they force you to buy 2 pizza for the price of almost 1, ex 1 12 inch cost 10 pound and 2 for 13, in my opinion 1 pizza is not even worth 4 pound.its a dough whit a sprinkle of of meat and veggie and some cheese,really disappointed they shouldn't call their self a pizza place if i could give zero star i would.

I was so disgusted with the quality of the food. I ordered a large cheesy chips and honestly had barely any cheese, half my order missing and stone cold. I called to inform that I wasnt happy and I got "well what do you want me to do about it? Call the manager!" And then hung up on me while I was talking. Rude staff, food is horrible. Do not bother.

just had a takeaway for two. came almost cold ( even though its 5 min drive away ) burger was upside down all over the place. chips had wedges mixed in with them aswell. my partner ordered cheesy chips large and it looked like a 5 year old made them. there was barely any cheese whatsoever. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!

Today I'm order food no first time. The wrap was cold on half top wrap. I spoke with owner he said is cold because of lettuce. Sorry but no someone don't pickup thi wrap and he put my sold me wrap on half cold after he said his run out on wrap but after 30 sec. He said he have last one probably customer don't turn up and he sold me thi one soon I'm back and told him fries is hot but wrap is cold he start talking to me loud and send me away but I'm said is not my first time in the shop but first time get cold food he was not happy and me to so I seen he not understand so I'm decided say goodbye and never comeback sorry

I know this place as Peri Peri Pepper. I order from here 3 times a week. The food is top and amazingly good. The cooks are amazing just 10/10

I have never eat doner wrap as bad as this one, what a shame! I was put meat in a wrap without any other ingredients, vegetables or sauce !! Fries inedible and without sauce! I also miss a chicken thigh ... In short, I do not recommend it!

Last night I had the American burger and it was just as good as a burger you'd order from say frankies or tgif! I also had the cream jalapeños and they are a must!!!

Why was my cheesecake completely frozen? I had to microwave it and now its a ruined mess. It was rock solid. Why not take out fresh cheesecake everyday? Disgusting its not like a supermarket frozen toffee cheesecake going to waste per day is a big loss. The chips were hard as if they were leftovers. I've got a vile taste in my mouth after trying to eat the cheesecake I wish I hadn't have bothered ordering a complete waste of £20.

Not bad not the best. Shish chicken kebab not warm, I did collection in 15 min. Should be with garlic sauce, no sauce at all !!! Chips without salt. Poor salad. Good only if you are hungry.

Ordered food online to collect. Given collection time. Went to pick up and given excuses about trying to call. No missed calls on my phone and no food ready. Told I would have to wait 10-15 minutes if I wanted my order to be made. Waste of time. Will definitely not be using again

Chicken barbecue pizza is my first choice in this new business around Leicester city. It's yummyest cheesiest ever.

Ordered so many times , because the food is tasty, but i'll never order just because of the people that are working there. No one is there to check the orders. Every time when i had ordered the food, i was missing items. When i called to ask about my missing food (that i paid for), no one knew anything, and gave me the "i don't know" answer. They are unprofessional , rude and i have no idea why this place still has good rates on the internet.

Back again for a decent size order 2 adults 3 kids and a dog . Dropped an order in at 2.30pm to collect around 6.30pm.. was called at 6.25 to say was prepared and ready to cook when was i coming in? Drove down 5mins wait and was away ..top service that and again top grub sorted 😋

I have had some average kebabs in my life but nothing quite like this.. supposed to be a large kebab and everything from the dry and rock hard meat to the salad seems to be from the day before.. rang them upto complain and asked me to drive back and get a refund without even apologising lol I refused and just thrown both kebabs in the bin and ordered elsewhere. has to be the worse kebab ever in my life. Absolute joke save your money and go somewhere else

Don't normally order from Mario pizza but i am so glad i did, food was nearly 50 minutes earlier than we expected, piping hot and really tasty. We will definitely be using again... keep up the good work :)

Ordered from these a few times and everytime our order is half an hour (or more) late!

Never ordering from here again. It always gives a delivery time of around an hour but then we are having to ring to find out where it is. This evening we have waited 2 hours so far and it’s still not here ! Do not recommend , stay away.

Poor customer service and took 2 hours to be delivered!

Placed order for collection 20 mins was told arrived was still waiting for 15 mins later. Got home pizza had hardly any topping the dough was really thin and was really over cooked had used this place before changed management and was really nice but safe too say will not using again.

Nice pizza, soft and fresh from the oven

The pizza we ordered was a large with 10 pieces of pepperoni on it and 7 bits of pepper. The base was horrific and undercooked. The chips were refried from previously in the day, an old trick used in a the pub trade. We couldnt eat it and even our dogs didnt want it. The service in the shop is rude and having explained the order 4 times, the workers still did not understand. Dont bother calling as they either dont pick up or they are rude. Used to be so good and now its a shambles.

Says they are open until 12pm but everytime I call after 10pm they say they are closed. So just went down in person and they've got the shop "open" but all the machines are off and they aren't serving food?

We used to order here a lot last year (2017). Always been really happy with the speedy service and quality food. This is however is the second time we have ordered this year (2018). This time We were immensely dissapointed. We ordered our regular pizza and chips. When it arrived I informed the driver we had no chips, his reluctant response was you can have a refund of the chips or he will go and get them. He could clearly see I was annoyeyed so he said he would be 20 mins. We decided to have the chips re- delivered. He did not seem happy about having to come back. He did not even offer an apology he was so annoyed I apologised to him. I asked if we could please have some free drinks for the inconvenience. His response was call the store and ask the manager. I called the store, explained our sistuation and he said, again reluctantly he would send chips out. I asked if we could get some free drinks. His response was a blunt no! I asked for the manger he informed me he was the manager. I then asked if he was joking, he informed me no, he was not joking, I bit my tongue and said okay. He then abruptly put the phone down. I can’t believe he didn’t offer an apology and how rude he was. The chips did arrive 20minutes later also not up to previous standards. We will not order from here again.

Had some chicken strips last night tasted like fish absolutely grose where I had to spit it out. Horrible soggy cheap chicken in my burger and brown lettuce. Not good

Getting better after new owners

Can tell it's under new management, much improved and pizza lovely, on time and hot.. We'd vowed never to order from Romarios ever again after a pizza with pepperoni on was so bad we had to bin it. The only tiny criticism we would make is that the tomato sauce is a bit scarce.

The staff were keen to help, offered something that worked out fine for me, desserts were absolutely fabulous

Stuff generally like all take away nasty, but the food is cool...
