Not good wife had fish and chips yesterday lunch! £9.50 for greasy chips also crinkled cut which is odd. But fish where was it buried under chips - small and greasey and tasteless

Fantastic, traditional northern fish and chips. They only do fish and chips, nothing else. Chips are small and crunchy but also soft. Brilliant, classic institution.

Easily the best Fish and Chip Shop in Leicester. Many claim to be but I recommend you give Trev's Chippy a try and then compare. Trev's is in a different league. Boneless and skinless cod and the best chips you will have ever tasted. Totally unspoilt by progress and still has a wind up till!

Not going back

114 Melton RdWent there for food last night, it wasn’t until we’d ordered and paid that they said it was takeaway only! Thereafter the food was terrible; ordered a fish burger - despite the pictures, it had no cheese in it.
