Maria's Kitchen in Lambeth

I been last night in Maria’s kitchen and I try for the first time the dish call”Francesinha” and I been surprised with a lovely and delicious plate really recommend 5 star ⭐️ The staff are very welcome and friendly,thank you guys x

Fabulous, delicious food. Excellent flavours, fresh and spicy. Warm and very helpful staff. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Loved it! We will return.

Food ok! There are better nearby tho! Worst thing is place super busy not respecting social distancing and management very arrogant!! The view is very nice chill place if wasnt so full of people.Not coming back

I go here regularly for breakfast with friends. The breakfast plates are the ideal size and very reasonably priced. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The highlight on top of the wonderful food is the coffee, so good I have to have two!

Very good food and pastries and great service by Maria and her family. Very nice Poncha Pescador, my favourite drink, and Francesinha is truly delicious.

On busy Streatham High Street, you will find this a little gem of a place. With chairs and a few tables outline near the buses and bustle of the A23 is a bar and restaurant that represents authentic Portugal. With charcoal chicken, chips,salad and rice, the place is traditional in offering and super friendly in greeting the potential diner. We went for lunch and were given extra garlic bread (with plenty of butter and herbs) and the most delicious olives I have had for quite a while. The beers came a little slowly - this is not the place to go for an express meal! We settled in and waited for our chicken. The portions are man sized, charred nicely and covered in a tangy marinade that felt like Lisbon in summer. The prices are a little higher than expected but in line with the overall experience. I would happily go back there again. Recommended.

First time I came here my friend recommended it she want to have her birthday dinner here well definitely a good choice was a bit busy the friendliness of the staff and of Maria the owner was fantastic also what was the special bonus was the food was so tasty presented and there was lots of it will definitely recommend and definitely come back which I did on my second visit which was lunchtime quite quiet Maria was serving me friendly and smiling and charming please come to this wonderful restaurant and sample the foods of Portugal and meet the friendliness of the staff and especially their own America she's a great Lady and the food is second to none

Tempat yang menarik, desai restorannya menakjubkan sangat romantis. Menu yang disajikan lezat dan hangat. Harga sedikit mahal tapi bagus.

Lovely atmosphere, staff very friendly and welcoming, made you feel relaxed and explained dishes to you. Maria was a very wonderful host, thanks for making our experience so nice!! The food was excellent and very filling...and well within price range for what you got. I will definately be going back again!!!

Make sure you have the garlic bread starter, don't think it's on the menu but the kind lady always asks. Although the food isn't as good as la Casita, we choose to come here because of its coziness and reminder of the cute family run restaurants in Portugal. We often come here for a coffee.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was really tasty! I had the “bacalhau à lagareiro” and it felt like “home”! I will come back for sure!

The food was delicious and the staf was very friendly. It's my favourite restaurant. I recomend it , if you really want to enjoy the tradicional portuguese food.

Tuvimos una excelente cena entre semana aquí, muestras tanto el platos de carne y un plato de pescado, ambos excelentes, y acompañados por el vino de la casa agradable y buenos aperitivos en un ambiente más relajado. También nos hemos parado varias veces para tomar un café y unas de las sabrosas tapas, hizo portugués y siempre encontramos el servicio amable y atento incluso en los fines de semana, cuando la cafetería y el restaurante estaban ocupados.

My favourite place for breakfast in the area of Streatham. They make the best cappuccino in London and they have a good choice of Portuguese pastries.

I visit here regularly and a fan of the chicken escalope ciabatta. The staff are friendly and the cakes are delicious. The espressos are very good too!
