Attratti dalla location molto carina e dal menu decidiamo di accomodarci per un pranzo tra amici … scelta azzeccata !! Le pietanze consigliate dalla staff hanno confermato le aspettative . antipasti primi e secondi molto buoni , carta dei vini molto assortita e ricercata Che dire poi dello staff tutti super gentili e professionali… Quando tornerò a Londra sicuramente passerò a trovarvi Grazie e continuate così ..SUPER 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Me alojaba en Hammersmith y me sorprendió que mi hotel (el Seraphine) estaba a solo 7 minutos a pie del Támesis. Mi amigo dio un paseo por el Támesis a la Chiswick House & Garden (unos 40 minutos y muy recomendable). En el camino, descubrimos Mari Deli & Dining - - un pequeño, pero muy encantador café y tienda de comestibles italiano. La comida y el ambiente era excelente (tiene un tema náutico al estar tan cerca del agua). ¡Estamos tan contentos de haber encontrado esto y volveremos!

Absolutely fantastic place we came across whilst meandering along the Thames Path. We stopped in for brunch and had several starters from the menu of the day. Absolutely delicious 😋 incredibly flavoursome mozzarella, octopus grilled to perfection, fresh crab and stuffed aubergine were particular highlights. Fabulous and friendly service, we were made to feel very welcome.

The cafe seems wonderfully secluded but is just yards from the Thames and some of the finest riverside architecture in London. All the staff were wonderfully friendly and service was swift. My pasta with venison was great but the cheesecake was better still. The place was dog-friendly too and seemed to have a loyal local clientele.

simply the best Italian deli /restaurant, on the banks of the Thames on the Hammersmith/Chiswick borders....for coffee & canoli, pasta and probably the best negroni in London (grazie Pepe !) Mario, Mama Maria, Pepe & Adela, grazie mille for a wonderful experience evrytime we visit !

While out for an evening run I spotted this place on the banks of the Thames. Locals were wondering up and buying an ice cream or a coffee, a display full of Italian dessert s was tempting the unwary and couples were tucking into pasta with a glass of vino rosso. I could have been in any Italian town. Run completed, I wandered back down, grabbed a table and ordered a beer. Amarcord Midóna is about as far from Nuestra Azzuri as a Ferrari 308 is from a Fiat 500. They’re both Italian, but that’s all they have in common. This is a hoppy golden ale from Rimini and an absolute winner. Smoked mozzarella and rocket was creamy and delicious and drizzled with proper balsamic. Homemade pasta with seared yellowfin tuna was al dente and very moreish. The fresh organic cherry tomatoes added a summery sweetness to the salty pesto dressing. I retreated inside for a ristretto and a slice of chocolate and pistachio tart to finish just as a few summer raindrops fell. A perfect end to a delicious meal. I’m not used to London prices, so I’m not sure if £50 is reasonable - for a northerner like me, it felt a little expensive. That said, they have worked hard to produce a real Italian ambience using excellent ingredients, so, expensive or not, I considered it very good value.

It was absolutely lovely. The food was amazing, I cannot say anything bad about my experience. It was perfect.

Fabulous wee restaurant beside the Thames. The owner is a character, in a very nice way. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a selection of authentic Italian dishes, very well prepared. I’d recommend the Midona Amarcord beer.

Best food I’ve had in London and I love food and live in London. The service was so so so nice. Mario talked to everyone about what we wanted and dietary needs and we barely needed to look at the menu at his talk of mama’s pasta she made this morning. He did the same for puddings and starter. The vibe was 10/10. We were drinking with the staff at the end and all 5 of us agreed it was the best meal we’ve had in years. Me and my partner went to Italy last year and this matched even the best. It was perfect. Also in the beautiful Chiswick scenery! You must go!!

We found this place on a long romantic walk by the river by all the beautifl old Chiswick Houses, and we decided to give it a go, but they were all booked up, so I pointed to a spot ouside even though it was freezing cold. The waiter was beyond enthusiastic for our bravery, and very creative with the outside. He pulled the outside cabinets containg deli food into a square round this table and boxed us in on three sides protecting us from the wind, then went and fetched the ouitside heaters and placed them above us, we were totally snug. We then ordered a small dinner and cake, all lovely. It was a totally beautiful and romantic evening. So we went again tonight for a more serious dinner, inside this time, great Italian cooking and friendly fun staff and cheff. The food was pretty lovely and their pistasio cake to die for. If there is one criticism, portions are pretty small here, they need to shove more on a plate.

I stopped with my monthly group of older walkers at Mari Deli for our 11 o'clock coffee break and was delighted by the receptions. Mariano and his team pulled out all the stops and managed to serve around 30 people in ten minutes. The staff are delightful, the coffee is very good and the cakes were delicious. And then to cap it all, he offered us all a free piece of cake. This is the second time our group have been there and we will certainly return
