Attended Dockside site. Was very impressed with the meet and greet service. Thorough with the cleaning . Service and food quick. Food pipping hot and delicious . Took advantage of eat out to help help but would definitely go back

La mesa se volvió a reservar con una semana de anticipación, pero la colocamos cerca de la mesa que conduce a los inodoros; pedimos que nos trasladaran ya que había espacio y lo hicieron. Hay que pensar un poco en colocar a las personas.El sabor de la comida era deliciosa y el servicio oportuno. Tuve la ensalada de queso de cabra y pedí que se intercambiara un ingrediente, y felizmente lo hicieron, así que lo calificaron por completo.Lo único es que el pan que vino con la ensalada estaba frío y duro, por lo que se necesita atención al detalle.Todos estábamos contentos de haber comido allí hoy, así que si tuviéramos un incentivo para compensar los pocos puntos anteriores, definitivamente podríamos intentarlo nuevamente y esperar que las cosas hayan mejorado.

Great service, great food, try the Tiramisu... Very busy and the service didnt miss a step, just wonderful. Should be 6 stars.

Vi var en familj som ville äta lunch och det var bara ett sällskap till i lokalen. Vi valde ett par olika pasta och pizza. Maten var vällagade, men kunde varit lite mer kryddad. Trevlig lokal och bra service.

Na een lange dag slenteren door Londen, zijn we beland bij Villagio omdat het praktisch tegenover Hammersmith station ligt. De bediening is prima, het eten heel standaard en niet bijzonder. Als je geen authentieke Italiaanse recepten en dagverse kwaliteitsingrediënten verwacht, is dit een prima keuze!

I visited this restaurant twice in one week whilst staying in Hammersmith for work purposes. The first time was with work colleagues and the second time on my own. The food was good and fresh on both visits and will definitely return.

I am afraid I can not provide an apropriate review of the restaurant because I never had a chance to get inside it.I booked a Christmas dinner there and it was confirmed by e-mail. On Christmas evening I went there with my family and it was closed, it was freezing, my 8-year-old daughter started to cry and we had no place to go on such an important day for us.If that's the way they treat costumers, we'd better say away from their food.

Abbiamo provato questo ristorantino perché c è sempre molta gente quindi abbiamo pensato di accomodarci. Essendo italiani i piatti anche se ben curati esteticamente non hanno nulla a che vedere con i nostri sapori e tradizioni. Comunque non è stato niente di che e il conto è stato abbastanza salato. Sicuramente non torneremo per via del personale abbastanza inospitale e sgorbutico.

True. We didn't stay. We were shown to a table, given a menu but that was it. Nothing.The empty table next to ours had dirty plates on it still, as did a neighbouring one and the waitress seemed to have no interest in the customers at all, even to the extent of making no eye contact as we upped and left.Bad day ? Possibly, but no excuse in that industry where feedback is ever so important.

Booked villagio a couple off days ago for today wasn't disappointed when we arrived lovely place inside. Mrs had prawn linguine and I had a lovely Italian burger wow we wasn't disappointed when it arrived at our table our food was absolutely gorgeous got to come back here really soon.....

Have been going to this restaurant on n off for over 7/8 years. Used to be very good with both food and services. Unfortunately ,noticed an obvious decline with the service this time. We usually have big lunch and snack dinner and we do not drink very much. Waiter was not friendly and food portion was at least 1/3 smaller at a slightly higher price . So rather disappointing as we like their pizzas. Suppose nothing last for ever and might have to find somewhere else in the future. Sad.

Lovely birthday meal and very reasonably priced! We wanted to try the mushroom pizza with the bechamel base but thought a wile bechamel pizza might be a bit much so they made us half tomato base. All food was really tasty! Nice wine too! Would definitely recommend

Made a beeline for this restaurant, good reviews, menu looked pretty good if limited but would be fine after a concert at the eventim.

Stumbled across this gem waiting for a concert at the Apollo. The prices are reasonable and so we have I t a go. The service was incredible throughout and the food was simply amazing. Fresh made ravioli and a calzone pizza to die for. This is the nicest Italian I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. Thank you Villagio!!

Went for lunch. The restaurant size is slightly on the smaller side. However, food is good. Had the chocolate cake for dessert which was a very generous size. Staff were not very attentive so do need to get their attention (could be due to it being lunch time and therefore busier). Located a minute's walk from Hammersmith station.

The food and service was excellent at this restaurant. Staff was very nice. Enjoyed it tremendously!

They were able to accommodate 6 of us even though we didn't have a reservation. The service was friendly and efficient. They offer a "light pizza" combination: smaller size pizza with a side salad. It was tasty and just the right size. I would go back again and try one of their pasta dishes.

A very nice restaurant close to the station & the Apollo theatre.

Nos lo recomendaron como uno de los mejores sitios en Hammersmith y fuimos a cenar. El local es agradable y está bien atendido pero la comida no es nada del otro mundo. Tal vez los Españoles estemos acostumbrados a muy buenos restaurantes Italianos en nuestro país y por eso no nos sorprendió ningún plato en especial. Ojo que todo estaba bueno pero no podría destacar nada en especial. No es un local barato.

We went here for the first time on a Monday night. out of the 4 of us 2 wanted Carbonara. We were promptly told that Carbonara was off the menu. No apology, no effort to make amends, just "choose something else". Crab linguine and Bolognese instead which were both "out of a can". The Pizzas for the other 2 were ok, but none of the staff were Italian. First and last experience at this restaurant.

The restaurant looked nice from the outside, the decor is cozy. However, the food was bad. We ordered goat cheese crostini, a risotto and grilled chicken with mushroom and spinach sauce. We were surprised to see that the food arrived only 5 minutes after we ordered, which suggests that it was pre-cooked and warmed up. The crostini were covered in an excessive amount of balsamic glaze, and the presentation was poor. The risotto rice was overcooked, boiled white rice mixed with boiled vegetables, cut in big chunks. All this tasted bland, like instant soup. The chicken was dry, probably reheated, although the flavour was just ok. However, the sauce was terrible, it was an excessive amount of cream with mushrooms, and raw spinach. The staff was charming and nice, and when we mentioned the issue with the food, they offered to swap it for something else. Instead, we decided to pay and leave, and they took off the risotto from the total of the bill.

Great service, reasonable prices, lots to choose from on menu. Good options of risottos, pasta, pizza and veggie options too. Will be returning.

Great position for music events closeby at Apollo. On entering I had high hopes as beautifully decorated & efficient staff - leading you to spacious tables & prompt drinks service. Then the BUT comes in.....just standard Italian fayre. Simple Italian food can be the best food in the world....but sadly not memorable here. Everything was just very average & ok. No outstanding flavours or choices on the menu.

Booked this as very close to the Lyric in Hammersmith. Friendly efficient staff and the food was excellent. There were nine of us and all the food came out in good time and everyone was happy with their choice. Would definitely revisit if in the area.

Llegamos un domingo por la noche, así que el restaurante estaba bastante tranquilo. Teníamos la tabla de pan y algunas aceitunas para comenzar, los cuales eran realmente deliciosos. La lubina y ensalada era encantadora y tenía un gran ragu. El bistec era fantástico, y la porción de papas al romero era enorme. El pollo con salsa de champiñones también era encantador. Las camareras eran amables y la comida se servía rápidamente.

Fuimos a comer mi pareja y yo a este restaurante. El local es muy agradable, el trato correcto. La única pega que el baño es enano. Pedimos: mi pareja, una pizza con champiñones y queso costaba 10.50 libras, rica, grande y no grasienta. Y yo pedí una ensalada de quinoa y pollo que costaba 12.95 libras, bastante cantidad y rica. De entrante, pedimos alitas muy sabrosas y costaron 6 libras. No nos cobraron ningún recargo extra. Lo recomiendo. El agua del grifo se puede beber en Londres, no pedí bebida pero me trajeron un vaso de agua sin pedirlo. Eso me gustó.

This was not the best Italian restaurant ever but the food was quite nice and the service was good. Quite close to Hammersmith station so the location was very handy.

Went there after an evening at the Lyric. It was late and we were told that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes so we better order quickly. We did and the food - two pasta dishes and a pizza - appeared within five minutes. That always concerns me. How on earth was the pizza prepared in such a short time? The food was OK, nothing special. Our bottle of Pinot Grigio was on the warm side. The service was good.

My partner saw this restaurant when passing by coach the previous weekend and as we were going to a concert a few days later we decided to look it up, good reviews and pictures and also take tastecard which was a bonus. Service was good, we both had the harrisa chicken with spinach and harissa, delicious and was served piping hot, as it was 2 for 1 with tastecard we both had desserts too, all very good, would return if going to another concert and would recommend

My husband and I went for dinner yesterday evening. Such a lovely place... was busy and what made me feel a bit uncomfortable was the thing that only one waiter was serving in all Restaurant. He let us sit next to the entrance door. He gave the menus and said that will be back in a few minutes. Lovely guy, good customer service and funny! Next to us was a big table ( maybe a birthday or something like that)That guy(waiter) was doing everything means cleaning tables,food runner, bar, taking orders and......! Really quick he came back to us and we order an Italian Burger and a chicken mushroom bake with two glasses of water. He bringed the water quick as it was tap water and +/- 15 minutes for food!

I`have been here before Anne Marie`s concert . Restaurant is located well , decoration was nice and elegant but cleaning could be better. man`s toilet was not well cleaned maybe i was not lucky . i could see dust around i guess they need little bit more cleaning . we really enjoyed the food . bread board was great . Staff were nice and quick . also there is no service charge so you can leave your own service charge but staff deserve that anyway so dont forget to tip them but little advice about cleaning for them but you should visit this place they do nice food

My husband and I didn't want to go outside Hammersmith for dinner and lucked up on Villagio. It has a cute, elegant atmosphere with good customer service. We both had pizzas, which were delicious! The dinner was ended with the Lemon Sorbet, which was wonderful. I'd return here in a heart beat!

Me and my partner dined here on the bank holiday Sunday night! Delicious food and wine, and the service was very good- a bit slow but the restaurant was busy!

My other half surprised me by bringing me for lunch here & the food was beautiful. We each had a starter, main and dessert and I can honestly say there was none left over, it was just to good, on top of the service here to. We didn’t wait long for our food, staff were very attentive and just nice and welcoming. We felt very looked after and it was just a nice lunch! Would definitely recommend & go here again!! Please try the Tiramisu!! ❤️

Good food at reasonable prices. Service was friendly and efficient; our waiter was Nick and he was faultless. The Taste Card was accepted with no problem whatsoever. Definitely a recommended London restaurant.

Good stopping point for lunch with a friend. Had a good pizza (impressed) but made the mistake for asking for a tomato and onion salad. This is for Villagio; how can you service a tomato cut in eighths with three rings of red onion as a tomato salad. It was derogatory with a totally unsweet tomato, no onion to speak of and I could not taste any olive oil. A tomato salad should be made of tomato sliced thinly at room temperature with chopped red onion, pepper and olive oil. What I got was an English pub tomato - tasteless and unattractive. Please do better than this or get another chef who understands flavours. I would have raised its at the time but had company and did not want to spoil the sense of occasion.

This place looks nice and quaint, has a lovely cosy interior but however, the Food was bland, watered down pesto, massive chunks of broccoli? Served luke warm. Stingy with the cheese. Carbonara was just spaghetti mixed in cream. Flavours all off, had to season at table with salt and pepper just to make it edible and it was just regular penne/spaghetti from the packet. Had to force as much as we could as we arrived starving and had to wait 40 minutes for packet penne and chunks of Sunday roast broccoli and watery cream pesto soup.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening after a show at the Hammersmith Apollo. The restaurant was perfectly adequate with a reasonably varied menu. The food and service was good with an understandable Italian bias. You can also book online.

I walked in here with my family to be met with a stare from a guy who I had to ask “ do you work here?” Simply because he seemed so disengaged And uninterested in us arriving into a not too busy restaurant. I wasn’t sure if he was part of the restaurant staff or not. Unfortunately he was and his attitude was extremely poor.

Visité este lugar para cenar y llevé a mi hijo a la universidad para los exámenes. Tengo que decir que la comida estaba deliciosa, muy bien preparada y que sabía muy bien, pero lo que más arruinó la experiencia para nosotros fue el servicio. El camarero era eficiente, sin duda, pero era tan hosco y miserable que ni una sola vez tuvimos contacto visual, ni una sonrisa ni ninguna broma. Se convirtió en un juego entre mi hijo y yo para intentar sacarlo de él (el primero en obtener una sonrisa gana algo) ¡pero tengo que decir que ninguno de los dos ganó! El lugar no estaba muy ocupado, así que no fue una excusa, ¡pero arruinó la experiencia para nosotros cuando realmente estaba tratando de animar a mi hijo! Nota: Si hubiera tenido una sonrisa, habría dejado una propina. ! No esperas que la gente sea aduladora en los restaurantes, ¡pero la decencia muy común, la amabilidad y la bondad de sonreír, al menos hace mucho!

Sono capitata in questo ristorante con i miei due figli un po' per caso: era sera tardi ed è di fianco al Novotel dove alloggiavamo. Importante: NON E' un ristorante Italiano, ma propongono pizza e piatti italiani adattati ai gusti inglesi. Ad ogni modo, è stata un'ottima sorpresa: abbiamo preso 2 pizze margherita ed 1 pizza "capra" (con formaggio di capra e spinaci) e devo dire, da italiana, che erano di buon livello. Anche i dolci niente male. Buonissimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Abbiamo hotel nei dintorni e siamo venuti qui per cena con 2 bimbi che non si adattano molto ai cibi nuovi . Qui c’è menù bimbi e tovaglietta e pastelli da colorare e i miei bimbi hanno mangiato una pasta . Pizza incredibilmente buona , prezzi normali vista la zona .

Found this last night as we were early for our show at The Apollo. Great menu, all the italian things you want to see and at great prices - especially in London. Had really good calamari and bruschetta to start, although had trouble deciding whether to go for these or the mushrooms or the meatballs! Had mushroom rizotto and calzone pizza for mains with large glass of wine ( costing only £6 each) followed by a really good coffee and a glass of prosecco. Would go back again, and will recommend to friends travelling to shows at Hammersmith. Service was good, present but unobtrusive. Tables spaced well so we could talk without overhearing everyone around us. we arrived at 5.45 with 4 or 5 tables already occupied, left at 7.30 and the place was heaving but not overly noisy. Clearly a favourite with a lot of other people.

Ciao a tutti, siamo andati in otto 3 adulti 3 bambini e due ragazzine... abbiamo mangiato antipasto pesce e salumi- risotto- pizza - tagliata - dolci e bevuto un buon vino rosso oltre a acqua e bibite! Dopo tre giorni a Londra di panini fritto ecc... ci siamo seduti per l’ultima sera in questo ristorante e abbiamo tutti mangiato e bevuto benissimo!! Personale molto gentile e simpatico... prezzo giusto/ non caro per la location e il mangiare di livello!! Quindi andateci e provatelo merita! Ovviamente non dimenticate la mancia se vi troverete bene come noi!!

Nous avions repéré ce restaurant lorsque nous rejoignions le métro à Hammersmith et depuis l'extérieur, le style épuré nous avait séduits. Nous nous sommes donc présenté un soir pour le dîner, nous n'avons pas pu manger parce que nous n'avions pas réservé. Nous décidons alors de revenir pour goûter à la cuisine italienne. Le lendemain, nous tentons de réserver en nous rendant directement sur place et on nous répond qu'ils ne prennent pas de réservation et que nous pouvons entrer et manger directement. Nous voulions dîner plus tard, alors finalement ils acceptent notre réservation. Nous revenons donc à l'heure convenue. Conseil donc, réserver par téléphone. L'accueil est correct mais sans plus. Le lieu est calme. Nous commandons une pizza Margarita, un risotto végétarien et des pâtes aux scampis sauce tomate et harissa (du jamais vu en ce qui me concerne). La pizza est bonne et le risotto est parfait (riz encore al dente, assaisonnement juste et texture des légumes fondante). Par contre, les pâtes sont pratiquement immangeables tellement elles sont épicées. Le souci, c'est que la carte ne mentionnait pas que ce serait aussi piquant. Je n'ai donc pas pu terminer mon assiette et mon pauvre estomac se souvient encore de la mésaventure. A noter, que l'on vous propose du parmesan qui est râpé directement au-dessus de votre assiette. Les pizzas sont proposées dans diverses modalités (traditionnelle et rustique entre autres). Les portions sont copieuses. Le vin est proposé au verre; j'ai d'ailleurs bu un excellent Merlot que je vous conseille. Le service fut rapide mais le restaurant n'était pas pris d'assaut. Si vous ne terminez pas vos assiettes, vous pouvez emporter les restes, on vous le propose spontanément. Je conseille donc cet endroit mais la prochaine fois, je me contenterai de goûter les classiques de la cuisine italienne.

Went there for dinner keen to have a fantastic Italian meal, I expected hand made pasta but unfortunately this was not the case- food was ok but not perfect. The people next to me had the pizza and it was huge.

The food was fabulous and they had a varied kids menu for my son. We had pizza and pasta and it was all fresh and tasty and the prices were good. They were quite busy and there was a good buzz about the place. The service was very good. I would definitely come again

Came here for my dad’s 52nd birthday lunch. He ordered a pizza with ‘wild mushrooms’ on it but when it came they were chestnut mushrooms not wild mushrooms. When asking the manager if this was correct as its different from the menu, the manager was immediately defensive, rude, and raised his voice at my dad and told him that there is only one type of mushroom in the world.

this is a great place to eat amongst the hustle and bustle of work beautiful setting and have actually used the downstairs space for a conference meal but elegant dining great Service - great food - and great prices .. a must if in Hammersmith

We were heading to the Event Apollo and I found the restaurant online. Difficult to navigate to on our phones from Hammersmith tube station and we walked in circles but it is on a busy junction close to the tube. The minute we walked in we were caught up in the atmosphere - the clients were relaxing many heading to the same concert afterwards. The food was great - the service less so and the only issue we had was they brought our main course before we had finished the starter. The manager apologised but the 2 girls were not experienced. We had a bottle of the Sangiovese which was delicious and well priced. A great meal and we would go back when next at Hammersmith Apollo

Fuimos 4 adultos y 4 niños y salimos encantados con el trato y la comida sobre todo porque los niños son inquietos y no queríamos molestar, para nosotros muy recomendable.

Visited while staying in Hammersmith. Lovely ambiance and warm welcome. Started with Breadboard which had 4 x different type fresh breads. Great start. Crab Linguine could have been a bit richer but all round a lovely evening. Prices very reasonable for London.

This is a love restaurant with very friendly staff, the layout of the restaurant is very pleasant, with a lovely atmosphere, the food and the wine is very good indeed and not overpriced

We ordered a beef, a lasagna and a kids dish (very well served by the kids). Everything was great! At first we were a bit confused about what to order, and the waiter was a bit lacking in patience, but then we understood each other and everything was great, he served us with great cordiality!

Zeer gezellig restaurant met een vriendelijke bediening. Mijn kinderen kozen het kindermenu, mijn man nam een pizza en ik koos voor de homemade lasagna. Het was zeer lekker en verzorgd en de prijzen waren redelijk.

have been here a couple of times as I have a Tastecard the food is very nice especially the pizzas, but the drinks are sooo over priced a glass of wine and a shandy £14. So now have tap water thats free.

Very nice atmosphere and surroundings, friendly staff and a good selection of Italian food. Had their house white wine (very nice) calamari and pepperoni pizza all nicely presented and very tasty. Very good value and if I was visiting with my wife I’d definitely go back.

A fantastic place to eat, nice atmosphere, really good pasta and wines. The service is great. A good night out, and we will definately be back if we come to Hammersmith/London again.

Visited before a show at the Apollo. The whole place was just a bit ‘meh’. Nothing at all to write home about. The food was just okay, the drinks were just okay, the service was just okay. There’s better places in Hammersmith.

The restaurant has a lovely fresh feel to it, modern & clean. The staff were attentive and the food didn't take an eternity to come out to us.

Great restaurant, lovely food, attentive & friendly staff however I spent so much time trying to cut my pizza with the awful blunt knife and pizza cutter provided it slightly spoilt my experience of a great little restaurant. I shall return as the place is lovely but it’s the only thing that would get a thumbs down in my opinion. Perhaps next time I shall bring my own knife

De passage à Londres et notre hôtel à proximité, nous sommes arrivés par hasard dans ce restaurant. Le personnel est sympathique et l’assiette est très bonne. Endroit à recommander les yeux fermés.

em nossa estada em Londres, fomos duas vezes ao Villagio. A comida é muito boa, o ambiente agradável e os preços são justos. Peca um pouquinho no atendimento, que é meio lento e um pouco desatento. às vezes tivemos que insistir com o atendente para que fosse até nossa mesa. Mas de resto compensa sim. As massas são muito boas!

A very nice and warm atmosphere. We had pizza and pasta and all plates were delicious. Staff service was excellent and friendly. Good location near Hammersmith underground station.

Visited on Thursday evening and the food was very nice The mozzarella starter and garlic bread was very tasty I had the vegetable calzone for my main and the dough was crispy and tasty The children’s menu is very good value for money

An after business meeting dinner took us back to Villagio. The restaurant had undergone a refurbishment since our last visit and tables are now more comfortably spaced. This has resulted in the general ambience being somewhat quieter than had previously been the case. Service was impeccable throughout our stay so we can quickly dispense with that issue. To the starters! The garlic pizza bread was extremely moreish and set off our first round of drinks. Baked mushrooms - a little overcooked for my taste - and calamari - 'delicious' all round. Chicken with mushrooms and my half chicken, each with a mushrooms sauce, drew similar comments in that the sauce carried a strong taste of oil, unusual in a white sauce. My half chicken had only recently been removed from its mum since it was rather small in size and, again, griddle-overcooked to the point of dryness. The disagreeable taste of the sauce meant that the chicken was eaten as it arrived - dry! The sea bass was, again, over-grilled to charred, which resulted in it being rather dry. The crab linguine carried a number of underlying flavours that resulted in the crab being somewhat overpowered. 'Could have been crabbier' was the comment! Vegetables were a little more al dente than would have been preferred. The chocolate fudge cake was delicious, consumed by 2 of our party of 5. Drinks, a couple of bottles of decent wine and coffee rounded off an enjoyable evening, more dependent on the company rather than what was consumed. We've been visiting Villagio for a number of years, more out of geographical convenience than the standard of its cuisine. The food varies from visit to visit and I'd probably put it in the 'good wholesome Italian food' rather than any notion of fine dining.

Ordered takeaway and the food was very good. Ordered the Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese and Chicken and Mushroom bake which had an Alfredo type sauce. Will be back to dine in!

Precioso restaurante ubicado convenientemente cerca de la estación de Hammersmith. Si estás en la zona sin duda debe dar una oportunidad a este lugar. Los precios son muy razonables y grandes porciones! El bistec y calzone sabían increíble y me llevó de vuelta a mis viajes en Italia cuando fui a comer cocina hermosa italiana.

Cenamos aquí después del trabajo y el servicio me pareció muy bueno y rápido. El menú tiene una selección muy buena y es muy razonable. Las bebidas también son razonables. Yo tenía una bruschetta y ensalada, y tengo que decir que era muy sabroso! Volveremos cuando estoy en Hammersmith de nuevo!

Came here after an event nearby for dinner, lovely service and great tasting food. Servings just a little bit on the small side, but otherwise very reasonable prices for such a central part of London and would definitely recommend. Great decor as well!

A friend and I were going to the Apollo for a concert and after checking reviews on tripadvisor selected the Villagio for dinner before. It wasn’t busy, the staff were very attentive and the food was good. We had the avocado, mozzarella and tomato salad for starter, the spicy chicken linguine and pesto, mushroom pasta with the garlic pizza bread for main. It was all delicious. Only a 7 min walk to the Apollo and across the road from the station so very convenient location too. Would recommend to others
