Excellent food and a lovely host

Overpriced with inattentive service. Food was very average. When I first arrived, I stood at the entrance for about 10 minutes until the attendant (only person there) got off her personal call. Had a gin and tonic (very very weak) and the frute de mare pasta - which was Ok but not memorable. She did come over and ask how the food was. I should have seen it coming because I was the only person in the restaurant. Menu was pretty varied.

i am absolutely disgraced with this establishment today. went there for a light dinner after the theatre. thought it would be a lovely place. dinner was okay however at the end of the meal we turned over the garlic bread as it tasted off, we astounded to see that it was contaminated with mould. when addressed the situation the waitress then denied that was mould and claimed it was “freshly made” in a VERY rude tone. will not be coming back here!!!! absolutely disgraced!!!!! will not recommend!!!!

Casa Mia continues to be one of our favourite restaurants. We recently visited for a meal with friends and Angelo and the whole team are absolutely superb. The ambience and setting is very warm, welcoming and friendly, the service just the right balance of attentiveness without being OTT. The food is just the best combination of superb quality ingredients and recipes that are a good blend of traditional Italian cooking with a contemporary twist. Wine selection is also very good and overall result is just superb. It is not often that you eat out and feel nothing could have been better - but Casa Mia achieves that! By far the best restaurant I have ever visited. Great menu, excellent service. It is always my first choice for any occasion. You are made to feel very welcome and very special ❤️

This place has nothing close to italian. Had horrible pizza. Assuming it was frozen. They charged me tho. Not recommended.

The service who's in point atmosphere was authentic whit Italian music 🎶 the food who's excellent also Halal options pollo milanese veal milanese and the kids have shared a big portion of linguine frutti Di mare all make it Halal. Our new spot on Hammersmith definitely the best restaurant in King street.

This restaurant is really lovely the atmosphere is very nice whit the old italian music the service who's amazing the girl really make us feel so comfortable and making sure whit the chef will be everything Halal 😊 the food who's amazing we have pollo cacciatore veal milanese ragu pasta and risotto frutti di mare , definitely I recommend and I will come back definitely whit family and friends.

Very small but nice atmosphere. I had the pappardelle with ragù and it was delicious. Unfortunately the prices are too high for the menu offered.

Small place but well looked after in detail... we went because it was close to our hotel and because we wanted pasta... but we left a little disappointed... very high prices for eating dishes that don't match the names... A carbonara made without pecorino and so white that I think there was cream... ravioli with butter and sage... served with pink sauce and basil... discreet Naples... We didn't go back

The restaurant looks nice, and the music choice was appropriate (old Italian songs). Lovely atmosphere when all the doors are open and friendly staff. The only downside for me was the food. It wasn't for me... Nothing came raw and the portion size was great, just a personal preference 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was so hot in there! Yet they seemed shocked by a request for cold water. The was terrible garlic bread and terrible soup of the day. The pasta was ok. What a waste of £40.

A lovely Italian restaurant with an expansive restaurant and lovely staff. We both had pasta dishes and they were very nice as well as cheesy garlic bread which was a generous size and very tasty!

Started well food all pre requested When the food came out one meal (chicken) was undercooked not just pink but bloody. No apology. Meal replaced with same didn’t ask if we wanted an alternative. Asked for tap water but had to ask several times ( this was in addition to drinks not because we are cheap skates) Waitress appeared to ignore us several times when we asked if could see the dessert menu Charged for an extra oj until she heard us checking the bill. Service charge automatic charged full for replacement meal even though the member of our party had to eat on her own as we had all finished

The Italian cuisine has always been one of the best in the world. The Antipasta was amaizing. And when I thought it could not get any better the Pasta remainded me of my vecation in Italy. Staff was welcoming and well organized. Thank you Casa Mia for the atmosphere that made me feel like vecation on a week day!!!

For starters we had calamari which was incredibly disappointing as it was extremely rubbery and oily, we hoped our mains would be different but unfortunately not. I had asked the waitress what the pink sauce was and she could not even tell us that nonetheless, I still ordered the ravioli which tasted bland and as if it just came out the microwave. Save yourself £60 and get yourself a Tesco ready meal, not only will it taste better but it will be more authentic than this spot.

I’m not one for sharing reviews but this place was so disappointing it would be unfortunate for someone else to have the same experience. . . Especially since my sister selected it based on the previous fab reviews. Upon entry, the place looks lovely, however, the carbonara was truly awful - overly seasoned with salt and pepper, which did very little to bring any flavour to the bland creaminess of the sauce. When my sister asked for extra cheese, she was snarled at by the waitress. The food was so dissatisfying that we ate less than half and asked for the bill, when we requested why is was higher than expected the waitress rudely and abruptly told us that the restaurant does not include taxes on the bill and instead includes a 12% service charge - she did not inquire about why we clearly did not finish - nor did she say goodbye - instead she quickly disappeared down the stairs (which she had not done during our visit . . . There is a food lift) . . . I share this so that others can avoid disappointing food and customer service.

Liked the food, shame they dont have pizza. But its nice to come with family for a meal here

We were 45 minutes late but the place was kept for us (we called beforehand) and the service was very good. We were asked how everything is and our needs are satisfied. Food was good and the wine even better. We couldn't indulge ourselves with a longer stay and a pudding because we had limited time. One day when we're in the area we'll go for a longer time. I can recommend it.

No pizzas in an Italian restaurant ?? ! The food is strange - garlic bread with mozzarella was like a naan bread. Other starter was out of stock ! Mains were inedible, service was incredibly slow. The smell of old used cooking oil can be tasted in everything and smelt throughout. AVOID

What a wonderful little place, had my partners meal here and it was lovely! Hot, fresh and the staff were brilliant accommodating my partners birthday too!

Terrible, to say the least. But not for the food, we haven't even tasted that... Reservation made for December 31st, 8.30pm, we arrive at the front and as if by magic, the restaurant is CLOSED!!!! Absurd. Embarrassing!

After a long day of travel from Liverpool to London we just wanted an easy meal close to our hotel at the Holiday Inn Express. We were incredibly impressed overall. Great food, great service, great value. We had - Spaghetti Napoli - Chicken Milanese - Tagliatelle Carbonara - French Fries All superb! The house red wine by the glass was good too.

Called in for lunch a family Of 3 and had a lovely welcome with such friendly and professional staff. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend and will be returning

Eten was lekker maar teveel. Sfeer was matig. Het tochtte en we zijn ergens anders gaan zitten. Er waren wel wat tafeltjes bezet.

What a gem of a restaurant! Fantastic food, brilliant service and extra special treatment. Visited for a birthday & the birthday girl was treated amazingly. The staff brought out a special slice of cheesecake with a candle, balloons & even a complimentary bottle of prosecco and chocolates. What a touch! The vibe was cosy and homely, with the food being authentic & tasty. A must visit.

Really liked it here, little walk away from the tube but really wanted Italian and it didn't disappoint. The waitress was so accommodating. They do add a service charge to the bill already but I would have given the tip. Food was tasty and served in a good time.

Casa Mia is not a romantic spot or a great place to bring groups of friends for a spectacular occasion. Portion sizes are admirable and the quality is quite good but I wouldn’t consider the venue somewhere you rest your evening on. It’s a great stop off before drinks nearby if you need to eat quickly. The decor is modest and kind and the service is sweet but lacking in knowledge. Prices are almost unbelievable for the location (Less than £20 for a bottle of montepulciano which is £32 for the same brand in a pub up the road) £18 for a fabulous ragu tagliatelle and £15 for a whole burrata and pesto pasta. Unmistakably good value. We paid £70 for 2 courses, a bottle of wine, 2 limoncello, service (+round up). The service is hit or miss. Management could do with a whole day training to improve their scores. Honestly- leaving one young untrained person in charge all night does you no justice but she was great in her own right. the toilets are awful and downstairs. Past the kitchen where everything you don’t want to see or hear is on display. Honestly, id go again for the food- but take a mate, not a date.

What an awful place, almost Fawlty towers esque. The service, WHAT SERVICE!? We had to help the lady as she hadn't been trained while the manager ( blue shirt short hair guy) had a go at her for not being trained!? Chefs having beers and cigarettes with those pull away huge windows which just allowed smoke in the restaurant. All of this at 8pm then going to cook people's food, I mean if that's not Fawlty years I don't know what is. 12.5% surcharge which infuriated me but I was told to just pay it by a friend as the situation was a hilariously awkward experience. To summarise in short: 1) Inflated prices for what it is 2) non existent service from the front of house team (one person basically with a manager having beers with the chef Willy Billy) 3) chefs having a large one with beers and cigarettes outside at 730/8pm 4) not many food items (no pizza as apparently "they don't like to do pizza in the week) 5) all bland and tasteless really an all round classic DAYLIGHT ROBBERY Thank you for listening and seeing this review whoever sees it out there in the big bad world. Been dubbed "The Risotto Queen" I gladly pass my "crown" to Casa Mia for their mushroom risotto. 👑 And it is well-deserved because their risotto was out of this world! My friend was having the seafood risotto which was also very nice. 👏👏 They both came in generous portions which beat us. 😊The service was excellent. 👏👏 I'm glad we discovered this restaurant and I shall definitely go again, although it is quite far from where I live.

Food was nice. New waiter gave us two huge glasses of wine (3/4 pint beer glasses). He admitted he didn't drink wine and would just charge us for beer, which we were delighted with. When the other waitress came back she was very annoyed and took our half drunk wines away. She brought back a smaller glass for my boyfriend but said that I had drunk more than the equivalent of a glass, so I had no wine for the remainder of my meal. What did she do with the wine from our half drunk glasses? Pour it back in the bottle? It's not exactly fine wine. Really odd. Ruined our meal. We left just feeling really awkward.

Pizzas y calzone muy ricos! Eso si, pedimos una pizza un poco picante, y resultó ser bastante picante. Pero por lo demás muy bien; y de precio bastante aceptable para ser Londres. Repetiría sin duda

Waitress was not welcoming food was reasonable but overpriced

Ate here for lunch on Wednesday 26 April. The bruschetta was nice. Had the Pollo alla Milanese with a side of spaghetti Napoli for main. The chicken was a big thick slab and the breadcrumbs had an odd flavour. Centre of the chicken was cold which made me wonder whether it’s pre-cooked chicken kept in the fridge then coated in breadcrums and deep fried? Rather than a fresh piece of flattened chicken breast, coated in breadcrumbs and fried. The side of spaghetti was ok but the spaghetti had been broken into smaller pieces (2-3 inches) rather than regular length spaghetti which was kind of odd too (might be easier for them to cook the spaghetti that way? Who knows). All in all a very average Italian meal and I wouldn’t come back.

We had a really good meal here. Tasty food and good service. No kids menu but they were able to split plates. No pizzas were available when we visited but they let us know at booking. Relaxed comfortable atmosphere. We'd eat here again.

Plates are very generous but they don't compensate the lack of flavour, I ordered the linguini frutti di mare and it was far from what you see in previous pictures, disappointing.

Edited: 3-2-2023-Came for the pizza-that is listed on outside menu. Upon entering, we were told “We don’t serve pizza. No further explanation. Sent us to Pizza Home in Chiswick. So disappointed in Casa Mia. One of our favorites! We dine here multiple times during our weeklong stay. The crust on the pizza is cooked perfectly, and the Greek Salad is delicious! The staff are always friendly as well.

Food quite poor, had no puzzaz. Service very slow and far too expensive

Went in and there was No one in at 630pm Friday evening, this was a red flag but as I asked whether this was authentic Italian food we sat down. Asked for fresh baked bread from menu.. and were given slices of garlic bread that you would get from Iceland and placed in oven, I asked whether they had made this, was told no.. then I asked for olive oil and balmasic vinegar and was given glaze.. ordered salmon and aubergine Parmesan, the sauce was not fresh and clearly store bought. Terrible food and ruined our evening.

Walked past while on a trip to London with my family, it looked inviting and they had table space for us. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service spot on. We had just a main each and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Casa Mia if you are in King St. Hammersmith.

Nice service but the food it's not so good! You call yourselves a real Italian restaurant with real Italian food and you make Carborna with cream??? Really disappointing. Pancetta (bacon!!) in the Carbonara had a strange taste (maybe not fresh?!) Also when we arrived there was a lot of smoke in the air and the smell of fried food(?). The smell was so strong that it crossed our clothes and reached our skin!! I've never had anything like this happen to me in a restaurant! I do not recommend this restaurant. thanks

Absolutely absolutely fabulous. Went here for my mum's birthday. Flawless food and such gracious, warm service. Found this on Google maps thanks to the great reviews and adding one more. This is a firm new entry on our list of London favourites.

My friends and I came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday. I am giving two stars for the food as everyone quite enjoyed their food however the service left us disappointed. Their menus state pizzas however they let us know they don’t do pizzas anymore - which is something you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The restaurant staff were not attentive, they forgot about things we asked for or ordered. They came across as quite rude and we will not be coming back, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We came before seeing a show at the Apollo. Really disappointed as we had previously read good reviews… however made the mistake at not looking at the most recent. I wonder if some staff have left or are away? We were not told initially there were no pizzas - traditionally at a restaurant if don't have something on the menu you tell the customers when they sit down and before looking at the menu. Garlic bread was stale, they brought the wrong main for someone but we didn’t have time to order a new one. We asked for multiple sides and had to remind staff and they still never arrived - no explanation was given. Ice cream was not gelato but like ice cream from a tub. Took a long time to get the bill and for desserts to arrive. Pretty terrible experience and a real shame as we went off the good previous reviews.

Service was poor, food was average. They didnt serve pizza's. Didnt tell us before we were ordering pizza's. The 100 % pure juice was from a cart. I was disappointed. Had looked forward to a Italian cuisine. I didnt get it.

Give me time to finish my starter please. The mains were served soon after the minestrone soup arrived and waited getting cold while I finished the starter. The soup was wholesome and enjoyable. The truffle risotto was a total disappointment with no flavor of truffles or the porcini mushrooms. A tiny bit of cheap truffle oil does not work. The arrabiata penne was too spicy to handle for some. Should come with a warning! There's was a piece of cling film found in the spinach ravioli as if it came out of the freezer. Was not too bad to eat though. All in all, a woeful experience at an 'above average' priced restaurant. Had no pizzas being served on the evening we went. Maybe try their neighbours next time.

Good pizza. Went at lunch time, party of 6. Only issue is that they were too eager to clean away plates and started taking away dishes when not everyone had finished eating, and pizzas had barely arrived. A real no no, and makes it unpleasant and not good service. We were there for less than 30 mins in total.

We went for lunch , 2 meals were very nice ,but unfortunately my seafood pasta was bland ,the mussels were awful , and on telling the waitress , fell on deaf ears ,didn't remove my plate , Such a shame . Wouldn't go there again ,and wouldn't recommend .

Travelled from N.Wales on Saturday to watch Sister Act came across this restaurant the food was divine I would definitely recommend a try...

The restaurant is a bit small. There was only one chef, it was slow waiting in food. Our table waited 15 minutes between dishes being served. The staff were very friendly and attentative. It was a bus time and they handled it well The tagliatelle was well. The penne was dry and for some reason had a whole ball of mozzarella on top

Service was really slow.... Took 40mins to get a glass of wine but when I mentioned theatre tickets the food did come out quicker. The food itself was good. My risotto was excellent.

This is a very welcoming restaurant . It has a great selection of drinks. Food is good. Prices are extremely good for London. The service was excellent. Recommend grabbing one of the outside tables on a nice day - it's a nice place to chill.

Awesome tiramisu. Decorate of the restaurant could be better. Not so cozy place but it’s only a question of decorating the restaurant. Change it guys and you will conquer the area. All the best.
