Very disappointed about this restaurant. We went there because it had good reviews but the food was so bad we had to use condiments to make it taste better. I had the veal which wasn’t tender . The sides made you feel you were at a diner or school! The guy was nice and that’s about it .

I needed a coffee and google suggested I try this place. I walked into a what seemed a sit down restaurant but asked anyway. Even though there was a coffee shop just across the road, the gentleman made me one. One of the best coffees. 👌

We took two pizzas and 2 pastas, it was very delicious and fast. The service was also good. The place is nice and very clean.

Found this place after coming down to London late on a Friday night for a Chelsea game on the Saturday. Planned to eat in the restaurant at the hotel but it was closed by the time we got there. Went for a short work and found this restaurant. The owner was welcoming and the restaurant offered quality food and generous portion sizes at a very reasonable price considering the area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting good authentic Italian food!

After 4 days around London, the lack of pasta was felt… We found this little Italian restaurant by chance. The Italian owner immediately put us at ease and we ate wonderfully Super generous portions and above all true Italian!!!!! If I ever return to London I will definitely stay here again Thanks for the fantastic dinner

Really good old stalwart of thoroughly Italian food in Chelsea. A classic. Excellent wine menu as well.

L’Antico is located on the Kings Road. It’s nice and family run. Few patrons (assume mother and daughter) that had their phones on speaker and a noisy dog which was annoying. Food came too quickly and we were not finished the appetisers. That also happened on other tables as well. Food was ok but nothing special. Pretty good overall.

Tout d'abord les prix pratiqués ne sont pas ceux affichés sur le site internet... Il y a du avoir une augmentation depuis... Ils prennent bien la carte bleue à ce jour. Vraiment très déçue de mon plat et de l'accueil...peut être que le service se fait à la tête du client vu qu'il n'y a que de très bonnes notes...ou un coup de pas de chance... The sun was shining and we simply couldn't resist some of the fantastic Italian bites that L'antico has to offer. A* service, complemented by A* service. Our favourite restaurant along the King's Road.

Tables too close to each other.Very expensive for what is offered.Only one size of pizza which is way too big .The base is very thin and rubbery.Very disappointing and will never return.

Not great experience, we had two vegetarian pizzas but didn't had any taste of the food. Furthermore we added chilli oil to our pizzas to get some taste but it was old and expired that you can't taste chilli in the oil. We felt owner of this place do not care about food quality. It's great location and much can be achieved.

Denied entry just because I told the staff we would like to have drinks and starters and not sure if we would have mains. Owner claimed in the comments section that a reservation needed although we were offered a seat without previous reservation. Shocking service and staff attitude

Eye have been coming to Franco’s forever and the food, the company, and as us old hippies would say…the vibes are all the best the best in London. You must drop in or better still book up…it gets really really busy when Chelsea Football Club are at home at the bridge.

Great pizza and pasta in a family run restaurant

Family restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. As soon as you see their bruscetta you know it's real Italian food. Everything was delicious and the owner is right there overseeing everything.

Special Local Italian. Excellent food & wine. As of date of the review, cash only. Reserve as not many tables. Outside terrace.

Franco is a rockstar! He even helped us choose our meals and everything was spectacular!

Tired and unhappy, that’s the vibe we picked up from the possible father daughter team at this restaurant, no personality and no flavour! My pasta with clams had zero taste, waste of money! They didn’t bother to ask us how we enjoyed our meal as they know that their food is below average! It’s a shame as it’s a nice looking little restaurant and if the food was good they would be busy but people don’t and won’t return or say positive things when paying good $$$ for well below average!

Incredible food, to be honest the pasta is some of the best I have ever had. In addition, the staff is very friendly. I went there nearly every night because I could not get enough of it.

Love this place!! Been going for years and don’t go enough. Familia Italian restaurant, you don’t get black tux service here, you get Franco (the owner) with a Lazio t-shirt tucked in around his pot belly. Family run. Food is good. Wine is good. Price is great!! Especially for the area. With Franco normally seemingly just making up the prices as your ask for the bill then scribbling the total out only to rewrite it even lower is just fun to see. Limoncello is a nice touch now and then. Perfect place for a “I can’t be bothered to cook tonight” vibe.

This tiny restaurant is the best Italian we have experienced in London. We felt like were part of the family. I asked the owner for his favorite dish he said without hesitation the pasta with meatballs. I ordered that and homemade meatballs were amazing. The rest of the party ordered pasta Arabiatta (sp). They ate it all. Literally. The salad mista had fresh tomatoes packed with flavor. For dessert we had cheesecake Napolones (sp). The atmosphere is that is a neighborhood trattoria. Exceptional food, cozy ambience, great service.

This place is a gem!! Been coming here for years. Always worth a stop for authentic Italian cuisine. Beers are reasonably price and a good selection of wine.

Absolutely wonderful location, lovely little Restaurant with outdoor space and heaters too. Menu is vast and the portion sizes enormous, food is average and presentation extremely poor. Calamari were frozen and plate looked unappetising. Prices are average for the area and the Restaurant. Owner seemed uninterested with very little interaction from him. No greeting on arrival. No little touches to inspire and invite you to return, such as bread, olives etc on the table. Lack of special touches. Ambiance ok seemed to be quite a few regular customers who brought the relaxed atmosphere. Owner definitely doesn’t create a good atmosphere, sitting down a lot in full view of customers outside with a cigarette. All in all the evening was ok as I was with good friends but will not return and wouldn’t recommend it. Reduce the menu size Reduce the portion size Use more fresh produce and not frozen Pay more attention to detail and presentation.

To all that wish to dine classic Italian food, well this is the place for you! Knowing food, these dishes outrank popular Italian restaurants in my personal opinion. I promise you won’t waste your time or money here but wish you had known about it sooner! P.S. I recommend the meatballs !!!

Bit shocked in the times we are living to be told there is no contactless payment option at this restaurant and cash could be withdrawn from a petrol station ATM further down the high street. This Coupled with staff and manager not wearing a mask was very odd indeed. Covid policy not being implemented? Our meal was very substandard. Will not be returning

God I miss living 5 mins away from Franko the legend and his inauspicious but wonderful restaurant. Could eat there everyday! Food is excellent. Great value and real character for London. Calamari Fritti is an absolute must try. Never had a bad meal there in my 100s of visits.

Sirve maravillosa comida tradicional italiana. las pizzas son ligeras y crujientes y, aunque hay un menú, puedes diseñar el tuyo propio, ya que cada una se hace a pedido. Hay una gran variedad de vinos y un tablero que muestra los especiales de hoy. Me gusta por su ambiente acogedor, íntimo y relajado, así como por su excelente comida y vino. La brusceetta es maravillosa como entrante. Los postres varían de un día a otro. Se atienden a veganos y vegetarianos.

Tropecé con este lugar y no me decepcionó. Compartí la pasta y la pizza con mi pareja y ambos estaban deliciosos. Sin embargo, los profiteroles para el postre se robaron el espectáculo: nuestra mesa de 6 logró comer toda la bandeja, estaban tan buenos. Todo por un precio muy razonable. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que visite Londres!

Had such a lovely night, I met up with a group of friends who I never get to see but we were all at an event at the Chelsea football grounds so decided on this place as it was between there are our hotel. I didnt expect much but I was blown away. The portions are huge so be warned, the food was so tasty and the staff were amazing. They really made us feel so welcome and like regulars even though we hadn't ever been before. Next time I'm in the area i will definitely be coming back.

Delicious Pizza and Ravioli. We also ordered Garlic Pizza Bread which was a whole Pizza with Garlic Oil. Bruschetta was really bad - two soft slices of bread with a mountain of unspiced tomatoes on top (no salt/pepper/garlic). Staff was not really nice and/or attentive, but overall it was good food.

Two of us shared the Antico pizza and salad, and it was more than enough for the two of us with delicious dough and plenty of Parma ham.Not a place for a quiet romantic meal for two, but ideal for a quick bite.This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.

Escondido discretamente en el extremo inferior de Kings Rd, este es un restaurante italiano de la vieja escuela. Todas las comidas clásicas están muy bien con un ambiente agradable y alegre, especialmente antes de los días de partido en Stamford Bridge, a solo 5 minutos. Maravilloso tiramisú y galones de Peroni en oferta. El servicio es un poco aleatorio, pero la comida era muy agradable, sin embargo.

Family-run style Italian with a Neapolitan chef. Nice waitress and padrone, Franco. We had risotto with funghi and it was very good, followed by sea bass, perfectly cooked.

Estoy absolutamente sorprendido de leer las críticas tan negativas a continuación sobre nuestro restaurante Fulham favorito de 10 años. Mi familia y yo hemos estado viniendo aquí toda mi vida y hemos tenido mejores comidas aquí que en Amalfi. Las especialidades son Arrabbiata, pasta con mariscos y una mejor pizza que no encontrarás en Nápoles. Veo que un crítico desagradable te sugirió ir a una cadena, así que creo que uno habla por sí mismo. Este es un restaurante local relajado, muy tradicional y completamente auténtico, cuya comida habla por sí misma. Franco es el mejor anfitrión del mundo y es verdaderamente un establecimiento familiar con su hija Francesca también a cargo del lugar. Franco es un héroe local y tuve que escribir mi primera reseña aquí, ya que me sorprendieron tanto algunas de las ridículas críticas quejándose del servicio y los horarios. Solo puedo imaginar que son más felices en Pizza Express que una auténtica trattoria.
