Wonderful hidden gem; unexpected given the locatio. We will return again and again. There is a cafe and a homewear shop. The interior is divine.

Just visited for the second time. First visit was coffee and croissant and was very good. Today I was with my wife, daughter and three year old grandson for lunch. The food was excellent, in particular my Caesar salad was outstanding, and the care taken in preparing my grandson's meal was touching. It's great to have such a lovely place close to our home. I recommend it unconditionally...and I'm very fussy about my food.

I had been wanting to visit the Margo and Plum cafe for a while, having visited their Stamford store on numerous occasions (unfortunately now closed). The staff were very friendly and coffee was amazing, so much so that I bought a bag to take home. The food however was average at best, my husband and I both had a cheese and tomato panini, the cheese wasn’t melted all the way through and the side salad had so much onion on it, it was completely overpowering! Disappointing that we’d driven 40 minutes especially to visit, sad to say that the shop seemed to just have a lot of the stock the Stamford store had in 2 years ago, I know this because some of the items I’d bought from there were still available which I didn’t really expect……

Such a wonderful little gem of a cafe/shop located in the village of bottesford! I’ve been many times and always greeted by friendly and helpful staff who will go above and beyond for you! The cakes are all amazing (especially the lemon drizzle, carrot cake and Bakewell) and the savoury food is lovely too! Today me and a friend had an afternoon tea for my birthday and it was lovely!!!! So much food I had to force it down! 😂 The shop is wonderful too with some really original pieces of furniture and decor!

Recommended to visit . Lovely interior and welcoming staff. We had light lunches (prawn salad & baked potato + prawns) which were freshly prepared, generous without being too much and served promptly. Friendly staff and reasonably priced would return especially as they welcome well-behaved dogs! If you are on the A52 it’s a convenient diversion.

My sister and I discovered this gem of a find today. Delicious lite bites hot food menu, beautiful home made cakes, and a range of hot and cold drinks to suit all tastes. The prices are very reasonable, the food portions are more than ample, and the setting is unique, clean, and comfortable, creating a really lovely ambience for all to enjoy. Additionally, the staff are very friendly and hard working. This is a place you will want to return to time and agin. Go and try this out for yourself: you won't be disappointed!

Our first visit to this lovely little coffee shop but not our last. The establishment is located in a small industrial estate on the outskirts of Bottesford but don't let that put you off. Inside it has a lovely ambience with plenty of interesting objet d'art to delight the eye. Th staff are very pleasant and obliging even when very busy, nothing is too much trouble. There is a variety of food on offer, not extensive but enough to choose from and very tasty! Please bear in mind that this is small café NOT a restaurant so don't expect a full menu. What they have is a great place to meet with friends, chat, eat and drink and maybe buy that special item to grace your house. Full praises for Margot & Plum!

Massive disappointment after seeing Facebook reviews. Lovely little shop selling furnishings, and unique seating within coffee shop, but other than that don't bother unless you want a quick coffee from the machine. Order taken, 2 sandwiches, 2 cakes, 2 coffees. Incorrect coffee delivered to table, waitress then spilt the tea on the table when taking it away and did not wipe the table, we did. Egg and watercress roll lacked any watercress and the brown roll was a cheap white supermarket bap. Tuna, red onion and mayonnaise lacked any onions or mayonnaise, and the crispy baguette was a piece of french stick. £4.00 for a mince pie which was tiny and you'd have hoped came with a bit of cream for the price, and after 3 times of asking for the other piece of cake, I gave up, it didn't arrive. First, and last visit.

Quickly becoming my go to cafe for a girlie catch up. Great coffee and tempting cakes. Service always prompt and with a smile. Love the fact we can then browse the Margo and Plum shop afterwards & even buy a plant or two. Will definitely be booking to try the afternoon tea x

I hadn't been to Margo & Plum since I stopped working in that area. However, today I was driving by and popped in for a coffee. I had forgotten how truly lovely and welcoming it was. The store is a treasure trove of home furnishing and I tried not to get distracted by oversized disco balls and differs on my way to the coffee shop! I grabbed a takeout of my favourite, 200 Degrees coffee and I couldn't resist a slice of the lemon tart! Oh my, I ate it within seconds. The friendly team offer great service and I'm not going to leave it so long next time! I'm already planning a visit with my teenager in tow this weekend. Gorgeous!

What a fantastic place to go to meet friends and family ....we where greeted with a really warm welcome on arrival. Things have really expanded at margo and plum so plenty of choices when it comes to seating and shopping.....perfect lighting, ambiance absolutely spot on. Could of hung out there all day ...The pastries are to die for and i will definitely be returning. It was lovely to browse the fabulous items for sale afterwards that margo and plum are so famous for...I want everything. I recently attended a market day they organised this is not to be missed updates of times and dates can be found on their Facebook page... Highly recommended.... staff went above and beyond to make our experience really special.

Followed on Facebook for a while and really expected this to be better than it was. Some lovely furnishings etc but the coffee shop… I just don’t get it! Brunch menu isn’t really brunch it’s pre made sandwiches which consist of pretty stale baguettes or ciabattas, there is nothing warm. Coffee at £3.00 a cup out of a push button machine. On an industrial estate with no view. I just don’t see why you would want to go. Very disappointing.

We weren’t sure what to do as this was our first time visiting so we grabbed ourselves a table and scoured around for a menu. The lady came to take our drinks orders and said she would come back to take our food order. We ordered coffee and a juice, from the way the coffee was described and the price at £3.50, did not realise it was just being squirted out of a machine 2 metres away. The lady returned only to dump our drinks on the table without looking or saying a word to us. We sat for another 30mins, in what was not a very busy place at all but we had no further communication and were not asked if we’d like food/anything else, even though we had said we were ordering food. Basically, just don’t bother!

Love this place. To be clear, it is a coffee shop with a light bites menu including some lovely cakes. The coffee is the wonderful Nottingham's own 200 degrees. The staff are great and welcoming. The place is spotless and the ambience relaxing. It is part of their homeware shop, so you can have a browse. I have visited numerous times and never experienced delays being served. The only request would be some alternative gluten free options for a change. It is a little gem despite its slightly unusual location.

Wasn't very impressed - the brunch menu wasn't brunchy at all - more lunchy, and quite obscure items at rhat. They don't make any of the food themselves, it's all delivered made, and when asked to toast a scone, they microwaved it, resulting in it...

Absolutely fantastic! I stopped by today at 1:30 PM for a spot of lunch, just before the kitchen closed at 2 PM. I ordered the Sausage and Mash with Garden Peas and Onion Gravy, followed by a Banana Split with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The young ladies behind the bar were very kind and polite. The cutlery and sauces are self-serve, but the food is delivered straight to your table. The Sausage and Mash was delicious, the gravy was hot, and the peas were cooked to perfection. The Banana Split was fantastic, you get a lot for what you pay, and it goes down a treat after such a brilliant main!

A lovely meal, the staff were all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble, food was good too, would love to see some specials available to keep the menu varied as some times need a change, otherwise all great, love the new refurbishment too, highly recommend
