Marcos' Italian Takeaway in Bury

Just had delivery of the worst pizza I've ever had. Can literally be rolled up it's that floppy advertised as restaurant style thin and crispy. The toppings slide off when you try and pick it up it's that watery and they will have known because the box is that wet the plastic separator had gone through it. The pasta was freshly microwaved and tasted soapy and the kebab meat was burnt. Best waste of £30 I've ever had.

Such a shame the girl was lovely on the phone. The pizza is really wet toppings stuck on the box and it’s cold i literally live 1 mile from it but with children in bed at 8.30pm we ordered. Iv put half of it in the oven to see if that helps. The garlic bread is nice.

Can’t fault this takeaway so far. We’ve had it a few times and everything we have ordered has been good. The pizzas are amazing, the best takeaway pizza we’ve ever had. Kofteh kebab is so nice too. Service is always good and the staff in the takeaway are lovely.

Order was 40 minutes late so the food was cold the garlic bread was a pool of grease the pizza was only partially cooked and the kebab was like jelly

They charge more than what the menu says, for the sake of robbing a couple quid you lose a customer. Edit: this is a reply to your response, I didn’t disrespect your staff I explained I’d been overcharged I even went over the prices with her and she said I’ll pass it on for next time even after acknowledging that I had been overcharged. I ordered onions rings, 10 inch margarita, a side salad and a tub of mayonnaise. Check your own menu that does not come to £14.98 even the 8 where tf does the 8p come from when all your prices are rounded off? And I see talk of 20% pickup discount so where was mine? I ordered over the phone and got overcharged not a discount, I was told 14.50 over the phone then even after that being overpriced they added 48p on top The prices are on your website do you not think people look before they order?

Excellent Italian take away, food was just like a top Italian restaurant at very good prices and plenty of choice.

After eating pasta and pizza in Marcoses, I thought for a moment that I was in Italy, but my wife said no, we are in England. I said how interesting it is that you can eat pasta and Italian pizza at home.thank you marcoses for your lovely food.mama mega

I bought starter but they given soup I wasted money and time here

Pizzas have changed, dough is not what it was, tastes basic and shop bought if im honest. The pizza itself was bland, no taste, i had a calbrese and my partner had a meat pizza. Website still says 20% off for collection and never had issues before but got there and she just looked perplexed and said no its not. Chips are still great, but its not what it was a couple of months back! And for £22 quid for 2 tasteless pizzas, 2 cans and 2 chips with a dip is a bit of a joke now. RIP Marcos unfortunately (sad face)

I ordered a BBQ pizza and it was the best thing I've ever had. The chicken was so soft and juicy as was the peppers, the crust was not too chewy and it was cooked just right 🍕🍕.

THE best pizza in Radcliffe! Fresh, soft base with the right amount of chew in the bite and generous toppings. I had a 12" Four Seasons for £9.50 (with ingredients mixed as per my request) and it was absolutely wonderful!!! Friendly, prompt service with a smile. I just wish I would have given them a go earlier. YUMMY 💕😊🙏

I've just ordered a pizza from them gutted I can't post videos or photos as there's a massive long hair coming out of it and the best way to know it ain't planted I can pick the slice of pizza up by the hair it's cook into it loved this place till them but food hygiene clearly ain't there priority

First time diner… Spaghetti with sauce & lasagna bang on point. Salad, missing rocket and vine tomatoes but otherwise fresh and crispy. A nice touch was a small pot of parmesan ready to sprinkle …. Dessert to follow, still eating…. Worth the money, will be reordering…. Looking forward to eating through their menu….

Food is BANG on, and the same quality every single time, must've ordered 200 times in last 3 yrs, never ever let us down! Pizza, pasta, kebab, ALL equally fab and consistent! Our number 1 of all time...

Love marcos the ribs and garlic mushrooms 🍄 are fantastic. Not bad priced and filling. Sometimes have to wait abit for delivery but worth the wait and always had the food turn up hot never warm. My favourite takeaway 8n radcliffe

We ordered a kebab an it came all burnt an dry , iv never ever had such a bad kebab, it went straight in the bin both of them

First and last time ordering from Marcos as reading the reviews before hand I’m very disappointed with the quality of the food the chicken supresa was supposed to be in a peppercorn sauce but resembled more of a yellow brown curry sauce it was very unappealing with no flavour my partner was very disappointed as he loves peppercorn sauce. The garlic bread seemed undercooked and cold. Overall disappointed given the amount of money spent. Would not recommend. Only good thing I can say is the delivery drive was friendly and on time

We have had numerous meals from Marco's but we were very disappointed with the latest. It was 2hrs & 10 minutes before the food arrived & when it did it was cold. I rang up after waiting 1hr & 20 mins to be told ours was the next to go out. 40 mins later I rang again to be told it had just left, when I questioned had our food been waiting for 40 mins for a driver I was told no, but it was obvious when the food came that it had been because it was cold. It's a shame as we've not had issues before & the kids love Marco's but a phone call from them to say they'd had a problem with an order & ours would be delayed would have been helpful.

the food we had is definitely restaurant quality as it was delicious. delivery was within the time they stated, delivery driver was very polite. portion size is more than adequate, if looking for good food at a decent price this is definitely the place to go, as long as you spend £12 or more it's free delivery aswell.

Amazing food! Upto now, we've tried the pate starter - huge portion size and scrummy; kids have had Pizza's which the y loved; a friend of ours almost always has the Lasagne which looks gorgeous; the Donner and Shawrama meats are lovely; again, the kids loved the Chicken Nuggets; I'm personally not a chip lover but the Fries are sooo good; last night, me and a friend tried the Jacket Potatoes - mine with Chilli and a side salad - Chilli just right and the salad lovely and crisp and fresh and my friend had Cheese - loads of Cheese and ALL great value for money!

Ordered food to pick up. Got Calzone and Chunky chips, and Bolognese and skinny fries. Food was piping hot, very well presented and delicious. Definitely recommend for an authentic Italian takeaway. Will be going back. Excellent.

First time going here will never be going back. The pizzas had a ton of cheese on and the cheese had a disgusting taste and there was hardly any toppings on the pizza. Whats the point in ordering pizzas with toppings when all you get is a cheese pizza a waste of money spent on rubbish food. Would score it below one star but you can't.

I'm so lucky to live round the corner from this place. The best pizza in the area by a mile. The usual for me is Marcos special pizza, garlic mushrooms and lasagne. All of which are absolutely amazing, the garlic sauce the mushrooms come in is just awesome. The lady who takes orders etc. is really pleasant every time and the food is always brilliant. I'd give it 6 stars if i could.

Marcos’ is quite simply restaurant quality food from a takeaway. Since opening I have tried a few different pizza and pasta dishes and they have been made with fresh, quality ingredients. My daughter says it’s the best pizza in Radcliffe! These guys are passionate about their food and customer service is second to none. Wishing them all the best with the business in 2021 as they truly deserve it, keep up the good work.
