Absolutely loved this place! What a lovely event with the family! Friendly attentive staff, and the food was fantastic!

Just had a seafood pizza delivered,omg it's the best ever,no thick stodgy pizza base, lots of filling especially prawns, really fresh and delicious, will definitely order again.

Really great place with amazing food. Service was friendly and attentive and in particular where very conscious with the fact my Dad is coeliac (they also have an extensive GF menu and treat cross-contamination seriously). Would highly recommend for anyone searching for a good GF restaurant, but aside from that I'd still highly recommend it to anyone else as the food was really tasty and service was top class. 10/10

The food… wow! Went with a veggie friend so we shared several veggie/vegan dishes and there as good as any meat dish I have had! Saying that, the lamb is outrageously good here! Top it off with great service and this place is one of the very best the whole of Manchester has to offer! 11 out 10!

Very, very, very salty food! Been a really uncomfortable evening since eating here with trouble because of that and the massive amount of oil they use - or what I assume is that, otherwise it's food poisoning - had to even take the day off work. So not pleased at all. Food out the kitchen - very, very slow. Service - very slow. Took them over 15 minutes just to take our drinks order. Staff were quite nice though, they seemed very competent just understaffed. I noticed from other reviews that management don't seem to take criticism well, so I guess a snarky reply is on the way -this isn't needed, perhaps just a few extra staff and a little more taste testing out of the kitchen.

The food was grilled well but lacked in taste/flavour. My whole experience of this restaurant was marred by absolutely terrible customer service. They served me my order incomplete. The manager I spoke with regarding the issue I faced with my order was unreasonably rude and dismissive, said that it’s ‘not his problem’ that my order was incomplete, he said that and that it’s ‘no problem’ that I will be leaving an extensive review highlighting how disrespectful he was to me over my order being incomplete! He was unnecessarily unreasonable and disrespectful with completely inappropriate and unacceptable language over the matter - truly terrible customer service from here which left a very bad taste in the mouth. Other than that, although menu is affordable I would say it’s absolutely not worth it as they don’t give you your complete order and are really rude about it- just go elsewhere.

Usually I don't leave reviews but on this occasion I do because I found the service unpleasant. Staff who allow themselves to make ironic and mocking comments just because we asked for information. It's a shame because the food isn't bad.

Amazing experience! I brought my 2 year old and from the minute we entered the door the staff were quick, accommodating and even went the extra mile to keep my child entertained! The menu had so many different options for different dietary requirements! Absolutely amazing food and George who served my cocktail did an absolute fantastic job, will be coming back again and have recommended it to my vegetarian family!

I came to the UK half a year ago from wales, I have travelled all over the world and been in several restaurants all across the world and the country. Anatolian Grill has to be the best restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. We sat upstairs on a busy Saturday night and were extremely well looked after by George and Sofiia, who were very helpful, kind and polite. They helped us choose our drinks and our delicious food, the cocktails were fantastic, especially Margarita and Anatolian Breeze. Our starters, which we shared, garlic prawns, halloumi, hummus and lamb were all so delicious. For our mains we had chefs chicken, mixed sizzler (recommend by Sofiia) and that was by far my favorite meal ever. George recommend us a fabulous Turkish wine and the exclusive Anatolian gin which tastes of Turkish delight. Thank you for amazing night, thank Sofiia and George for excellent service and for looking after us we will most certainly be returning! Kind regards

Excellent staff and constantly fantastic food. We have been coming here for many years now and have always had a good experience. Staff are top drawer and food never fails to please. Being one of the few establishments that don’t add a service charge to you bill shows the confidence they have in the food and service they supply, and we always tip for that!

My 3rd visit and it will definitely not be my last.

Unimpressed. Expensive. I ordered the swordfish which was meant to come with salad and rice but came with very greasy potatoes. In fact it was all greasy, and the swordfish was horrible. Good , fast service.

A lovely restaurant that was recommended to us - the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere, lovely smell of incense. The food was amazing especially the prawns and the sizzling chicken. Very flavourful - the hot sauce was lovely (not too spicy) but full of flavour. Brilliant service - I'd highly recommend!

Whole family went for mothers day and we were very dissapointed. Firstly service was non existent, waited an age at times just to see the waitresses stood around laughing and joking, the restraunt wasnt even full. Food was average at best, the mixed grill was especially dissapointing, was tiny and tastless and didnt even come with chilli sauce and when asked for chilli sauce it came 20mins later after we finished. For the prices they charge its just not worth it at all, very overpriced. Wont be going back. Remal up the road is much better, better quality, better prices and better service. I tend to find these places that add service charge ontop of the bill dont have good service.

Cool place to chill with friends. The wine bar is attached to one of Prestwich's best restaurants and you can sit and sip some superb Turkish wines with a bite or two. The staff are experts in wines of all types and regularly hold tasting evenings to share their knowledge and latest discoveries.

I went here for the first time and really liked it. They have clearly marked vegan options, which I really appreciated. The food is really delicious. I make my own hummus, but this place makes some excellent hummus… I would definitely come again.

Having visited many times before we knew how good the food was, sadly we didn’t get to eat this time. We were booked in for 7.30 pm and arrived early. We were told the table wasn’t quite ready would we mind waiting. The waiting area was full and so we stood up, there were a few four tables empty and after not being shown to the table we asked if we could sit at one of the empty tables. We were told that particular table had been reserved… so we waited some more. 7.45 and we are still stood up, was offered a free drink but said we preferred to sit at our table, I asked who the VIP was that had the table reserved but hadn’t shown up, I was then told, “ it’s my restaurant and I can book in who I want”, well it’s my money and I can choose where I spend it. Needless to say we left and ate elsewhere. What a sad arrogant and rude man the owner is. I encourage you not to spend your hard earned money with someone who takes you for granted. We will not be returning.

Sorry but we won't be going again. The food was mediocre and expensive. I had vegetarian moussaka and it wasn't like any moussaka that I have had before. Where was the aubergine and potato, the majority of the dish was carrot. My husband ordered the lamb sizzler. Poor quality meat and very greasy. Both dishes were accompanied by a small mound of rice and a small salad. Drinks were very expensive. At a table behind my husband was a party of seven people which included 2 nurses still in uniform. That is totally unacceptable just who and what had they been involved in nursing and to put the top hat on a man on the table next to us started vaping and nobody said or did anything about it. This had been a meal out for my birthday and it was a rubbish time. So thank you Anatolian for that.

This is the first and the best Turkish experience I've had. Atmosphere was so nice and serene. The staffs were very polite and friendly. The food, even as it was freshly prepared didn't take forever to arrive and the taste was heavenly. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the Haloumi as it was a bit on the salty side. The rest rooms were sparkling clean as well. I would absolutely recommend

C hristmas lunch booked well in advance. Told several times of 2hour slot including on the menu. Reminded on arrival and two more times throughout (we actually left with 30 mins to spare so probs next year you’ll get an hour and a half. Appetisers arrived before my youngest son who was actually in time , service super rushed with next course arriving immediately after we’d finished one. Singer on and was so loud throughout we couldn’t have a chat. Waiters eyeballing constantly so they could sweep away finished dishes. Bill didn’t have deposit removed and also added surcharge (menu said groups of 8 or more) but by this point I couldn’t be bothered mentioning I wanted to get home. Felt like a school dinner service but with a price tag of around £300. Dreadful, wont go back.

Service an absolute joke. Used to be my favourite restaurant but came here for Christmas Day with family. Table was at 1pm and by 1:15 we’d been told 3 times the table was for 2 hours only. Slight alteration to the lamb and hummus was not catered to, waiter said “it can only come as it is on the menu” funny that you can’t not put the hot lamb on the hummus? Throughout our meal the staff were eagerly watching to see if we’d finished and were on track to leave. Funnily enough, we finished and left 25 minutes earlier than the allotted 2 hours. The food was good, but definitely won’t be returning as this is a joke considering the price you pay.

A group of five dined on a Thursday evening. Atmosphere, service and food were very good. I had baba ganoush followed by the lamb fillet which I couldn’t fault, others had lamb sizzler, veggie mixed meze, again faultless. Will definitely return in 2024!

Been here a few times but the last time i went the service wasnt very goo. Wouldnt be in a rush to go back

We were there for a family birthday, with six people in the party. The table allocated was a crescent shaped booth type area, for what I would say would comfortably seat four people. So five were squashed in, and a chair added to make six. Servers were very quick and very attentive. Four of the party ordered starters and they arrived within maybe 3 4 minutes after ordering, so everything is pre prepared in the kitchen. My main meal was mixed fish. The potatoes were lukewarm at best and were replaced hot potatoes after I spoke to the server. The prawns were nice, but the halibut and swordfish were dry and unappetising. I didn't mention this to the staff, because I didn't want to complain and embarrass the rest of the table. Anyway, it would have been pointless because I think that this is because everything is pre prepared in the kitchen, including fish, so it would have been the same, had it been replaced. Nice looking restaurant inside, but no atmosphere and my food wasn't up to much I'm afraid. I wanted to like the place but I was very disappointed. Unlikely to return.

6 of us ate there on Friday night. One had a garlic allergy and they cooked a separate chicken breast another was gluten free and the choice was brilliant. Thank you.

Enjoyed our meal but Waiter called Hugo needs to learn how to smile and be friendly. He had a face on him from when he first opened the door for us, then was curt and impatient once we were choosing our meals.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Manchester and yesterday’s visit was fantastic as always! Very tasty authentic Turkish food, polite, friendly and efficient service from the entire team ! Special thanks goes to Vlad, Khatuna and Kanulous who were looking after us and made the evening extra special and to Erik (Ur) and Duran in the management team for bringing part of generous and sunny Turkish soul to Manchester ! Amazing restaurant, great service and excellent quality food. We came as a group of 8 for a wedding meal / celebration. I asked to move tables from the original one they set up for us for a more private table, they were very accommodating setting up a different table for us upstairs and they let me decorate the area with balloons and flowers. We were there from about 4.30pm until about 10.30pm. We had the table the whole night, were not rushed at all and the waitresses looked after us the whole time, constantly checking we had enough drinks etc. The meal itself was gorgeous, the prawns and mixed grill were so good. I would definitely recommend especially for a special occasion.

Booked at table for 8pm. Got there at 7:55 and didn't get to the able until 8:25. Was for a birthday meal aswell so there was a fair few of us. Now I must note the place was busy like every table was full. But the wait for the table without even getting offered drinks until 20 mins after we got there was a bit of a joke. Some of the staff seemed okay and other were a little rude. We ordered starters, they forgot one of them. The food itself was good , did enjoy it even though the cokes were a bit flat and watered down. I brought in a cake for the birthday girl and they were great with organising the cake and singing happy birthday. Overall wasn't a great first time experience but am willing to try again at a less busy time. It was a Saturday night so I won't be too harsh

We all like chips different so not sure.. i had the mixed sish with rice and salad, i dont like food over spiced so suited my palate Its not local to me but i would definitely if in the area

An amazing place to have high quality Turkish food. We have returned several times as it provides a wide selection of dishes, both meat based and vegetarian, bursting with gorgeous flavours. If there is one thing that dissapointed would be their soups - they seem to be very light in terms of ingredients; it is too watery and have not much going for them. They are not cream (or creamy) soups nor are they with chunky vegies or meat in them; they are mostly liquid with flavour. Nevertheless, it still gets an excellent rating because of all of their dishes which are gorgeous, the service which is always top notch, and the amazing overall experience we always had. After going there 4 times already, I am still interested in trying more dishes from their menu!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly, sadly the food was a massive let down. Whilst the food was ok, there wasn't much of it. The salads were tiny and uninspired. I think we were probably given the equivalent of a single pitta between us. The grilled dishes were pretty bland and bordering on undercooked. Overall it's ridiculously expensive considering the above. Our bill for 4 came to £125. I would expect more, so it's a disappointment. We won't be going back. Some complimentary bread or olives would have been nice (something we've always been given in other Turkish/Mediterranean restaurants.) I can only imagine the good reviews are from people that are either easily pleased or haven't experienced decent Mediterranean cusine.

The food here is consistently excellent; beautifully char- grilled meat and vegetables, and great starters (if you have room!) My wife was very pleased that there is a main dish of falafels, with bread, rice and salad- a really good vegetarian option. Service is friendly and efficient.

Fantastic restaurant, we went for my daughter’s 18th as we wanted a family meal before she celebrated with her friends. We booked a table and they allowed us to bring balloon and cakes. Service was fantastic could not fault it and food excellent really enjoyed the whole experience.

This is the second large Birthday Party bash at the Anatolian Grill in two months. An excellent meal again, the service was excellent with good quality food. No wonder its always busy!! Hats off to all the Staff great local place to eat. Many thanks for a great evening.

What a gem this was ! We were driving home via Prestwich and stumbled upon Anatolia's , unknown to us. Pouring with rain, and in need of feeding, asked for a table, and the manager very kindly accommodated us. The place was packed full, so busy !! Lots of parties of people, obviously very popular. But it was a Saturday night. The staff were lovely, very attentive, and our wine waiter decanted our bottle of red wine at the table. Never had Turkish wine before, bur this was superb, lovely smooth rounded taste. An extensive menu to choose from, but as we hadn't lots of time, we had 4 Mezes - Calamari, Lamb meatballs, Turkish sausage & Stuffed Vine Leaves all dressed with salad , sauces to accompany, and served with warm Pitta Bread. Every dish was delicious, and moorish ! We noted many of the main courses being brought out, which looked tempting, so we shall definitely revisit, and next time book a table. The atmosphere was buzzing - we certainly enjoyed our food and wine, and would recommend. Thank you Anatolia's !
