Ordered through their app Great food and was ready on time when I went to collect

Half meal missing and they wanted me to come pick up. Manager is a joke. Staff who i spoke to was polite.

ordered haddock chips and curry sauce. food arrived quickly and was piping hot, chips were cooked in fresh oil and with good quality potatoes, nice batter on haddock and fish was good quality. good portion size. curry sauce was also really tasty and good portion. Overall high quality fish and chips at good price. only suggestion would be if I can have more+thicker batter on fish next time if I ring up?

Quite sad really received the complete wrong order rang the takeaway the girl on the phone was lovely but the boss just said contact just eat….TOP customer service haha

Paid £17 for absolute garbage, waiting times are appalling staff don’t even acknowledge your there, worse chippy experience so far.

Very very awful service even for a friday night, understand its busy but the wait time is a joke. Will not be going back... ever. 30 almost 40 minute wait because they had ran out of chips.. in a chippy.

Just had a couple of fish ,flesh was watery and a slightly strange taste contacted them regards this ,they apologised, said they only use fresh fish ,don't know how long it had been on ice in the trawler and the fish Quay but nit the best ,they did offer to replace the the fish. hopefully this was a one off .

rubbish. do not use .they mess up your order then are rude to you , offer no reasonable solution . they messed up a £43 order and asked me to put a note on next time asking for an extra portion of chips !!

Just been in for the first time in over a year and what a change. The fish was fresh, the batter was golden and crispy (no soggy bits), the chips were also freshly cooked. The fried battered halloumi was out of this world. The staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely going back to try all the other things they had on display.

This order was left on my door step no knock no nothing which I’m really shocked at as normally perfect I know o can’t blame the chippy but sorry guy the food would have probably been perfect but it was left on my doorstep with no bell or knock

as usual, perfect fish and chips! piping hot, crispy batter and delicious chips. This is the absolute best, no soggy batter no grease everywhere, highly recommended.

It took 13/4hurs to deliver with just eat when food arrived it was stone cold £37 for 4 fish 1 chips 1 peas excuse no drivers will never order again

My Partner is a Diabetic and was first told order will be delivered within 30mins....It wasn't a cheap cost over £37.00 and had to wait over 80mins and then delivered luke warm... Not good enough.....You should say a time of delivery if you DO NOT Have enough drivers!!! REALLY DISSAPOINTED And EMBARRASED as I gave my friend a great review before I ordered.

Went in this evening with my 2 daughters the woman behind the counter was extremely rude very abrupt. The rest of the male staff were friendly this has really put me off from coming again.

I’ve always ordered chicken curry with chips as it’s my favourite order but today it came separate and there was literally no chicken with the curry. VERY DISAPPOINTED WILL NOT ORDER FROM TAYLORS AGAIN!!!!

the food was awful. the pie was dry with a dried filling. the scallop was all batter with no filling inside. the whole meal looked like it had been cooked hours before. Will never order again.

i had kebab with nan bread, sausage and chips with gravy today, it was delicious great portion size and great service will definitely be going again.

I got fish chips last night the fish was nice and fresh, the chips are a perfect amount for the price. Service was great, very friendly, will definitely be back again

Used to be a really nice chippy not anymore. Large chips was definitely not a large portion you used to get. Large gravy was half the size. Skimping on portion sizes but charging higher prices. Chips was also like left overs. Will not be visiting again. Edited due to responding to owner I think you need to take a look at the review's again because there is plenty with similar comments. If this is your standard’s what is shown in the picture then you won’t see the problem.

Shocking service. Ordered online and instantly said it was ready for collection by pickup driver so the order couldn’t be cancelled, and then after an hour of waiting called up to be told it hadn’t even been started yet but that it’d be the next delivery out , 45 mins later called again and they’d taken the phone off the hook. Currently waiting for 2 hours and still can’t cancel my order as they’ve said it’s ready but haven’t handed it off to delivery driver. Disgusting.

Disappointing to say the least. no salt and vingegar on the chips even though asked and the gravy and peas were freezing. this was an expensive meal and couldnt even finish it. fish an chips with no salt and vinegar and cold condiments are not edible

Had to wait 20 minutes after ordering. Dry food, and can only describe the chips as scrapings. Terrible atmosphere, English lady shouting at other members of staff.

My order Came on time, and we really enjoyed it.

The delivery driver was awful. He was in the wrong place and kept shouting at me down the phone.

It’s a shame that the delivery time changed twice because the food was lovely when it arrived.

I ordered 2 battered cod. It’s was the worst fish I’ve tasted. It’s was 90% batter , 10% fish. Will never order from here again.

Awful. Sausage was cremated and inedible - the worst I have ever seen. Phoned them and apparently that’s how they cook it🤷🏻‍♀️ as for the fish? Spent about 10 minutes trying to find it within the mass about of batter. Never again

Just been in extortion prices for a small Tub of gravy . You may as well Eat out in restaurants . Get back down to Earth it’s a chippy!

In this day and age what place only takes cash? I can't comment on the food as I couldn't get any as like most people these days a rarely carry cash. For that reason the service is poor.

Would give a zero if I could. Overpriced and absolutely disgusting quality. Threw a raw chicken burger in the bin alongside the undercooked chips I paid almost £8 for!

Really quite appalling. I ordered cod in batter, which was 90% batter and perhaps 10% fish, and was over cooked and rubber in texture. The only thing good about the place was the chips, otherwise it would have got one star. Unfortunately, will not be going back.

Used to be the best chippy around but new owners are thieves! £2.50 for regular chips, £2.40 for cheese, £1.20 for sauce, £1.20 for a muffin????? In what world can you justify it?! Absolutely disgusting, taking advantage of buying what used to be a good chippy!

Personally I think it's daylight robbery charging £1.20 for a muffin.... If you want to have a proper meal, may as well remortgage your house. I'd be ashamed to call yourself a chippy.

It’s a nice chippy, but they put the prices up recently. £6 for chips cheese and gravy, I’d personally go up the road and get it cheaper.

Used to be really good when previous owners were there Now miserable staff. Compared to elsewhere chips were half the portion and undercooked. In fact the staff took chips from two other portions to make a third. Shocking!
