Marble Chinese Takeaway in Erewash

The BEST Chinese!! We have recently moved to the area and tried this Chinese. It’s genuinely the best we’ve ever had! It’s really good quality, great portion sizes and well priced! 100% reccomend!

Very bland taste to all food. Not value for money. Worst Chinese food in the area won't be going back again

Usually go to sue kitchen which never disappoints but my partner advised this was the best Chinese when he was growing up so we decided to try marbles this evening. Unfortunately we was disappointed and my partner was definitely disappointed and says was no where near as good as when he was a child . We got 2 X 3 in 1 dishes one sign curry sauce and one with sweet and sour sauce . The festive season and no one seems to be spreading the generosity. Hardly an sauce on the dishes was very dry and not one piece of meat in the chicken fried rice dishes . Very disappointed for the price 3 ***

Been a customer for over 30 yes best you can get in a ten mile radius at least. Always consistent and price is ok also

The reviews on here arnt a true reflection of the often great food and speed I have recieved. They have always been polite. Recently the owner hasn't been well and therefore not open mondays now be he continues to put effort in.

ordered for a delivery from marble and they got my order wrong when I called back to ask them for the rest of my items I paid for they was arsey and had a really bad attitude basically calling me a liar, will not be ordering from these again as the customer service is so poor and can't get your order right.

Easily the best takeaway anywhere. Always great quality and good sizes servings, with an extensive menu. 10/10

Waited 1 hour 40 minutes for our delivery we was told on the phone when placing the order it would be 45 minutes. Called to ask were it was and was told it was on it way 20 minutes later for only 2 minute drive it arrived cold. Extremely disapointed. Due to being cold the food quality was poor and with the service this was also poor. With a wait that long you would expect a sorry and hot food. We will not be ordering from them again.

Normally give 5* due to the price and food. But sadly this time my prawn crackers were stone cold. But as per usual everything else was so yummy!! I recommend the duck and pancakes.

Very Fair pricing. Always quick to complete orders and family ran business. Shame the front of the shop looks such a mess. Looks like a storage area. But the fish tanks are nice. Visit at least once a month

We have lived in ilkeston for 20 plus years and have used the New Marble on countless occasions but the recent change in staff has resulted in very poor value for money, over cooked and tasteless food. Thos use to be the best in Ilkeston but no longer.. so sad......

We order from marble on a regular basis, it mainly arrives within 30 minutes but is always hot and tasty. Meal for one is excellent value and more than enough for two people. The staff are very friendly and are happy to accommodate any order

Rang at 6.30pm to place an order for myself, partner and 2 year old son. Was told 45mins Max for delivery. Come 8pm my other half rang and was told it was on its way. 8.45pm he rings again and they still saying its out for delivery. We then said we no longer wanted it and within 5mins of that phone call they knocked on the door. Never ordering again from here due to waiting 2hrs 15mins. Absolute joke considering I was told 45mins max

Order from here a few times a year. Lovely food and fast service. We live just down the street. When we ring our order through its always ready within 10 minutes or so. Meal for one is well worth the money and feeds about 3 people. Bargain for £7.50

I order every other week from here(special curry and egg fried rice) the best by miles me and my partner cannot fault the great food or delivery service

Great value for money they always seem to help with anything you need. Would always recommend picking up as delivery can take up to a hour at times 9/10 never have any problems just sometimes it can be really greasy. But still its still my favourite Chinese around.

Never order from theses ever again food greasy cold and don't taste right small amounts for expensive money took 2 hours for delivery when I live 2 mins away.... disgusting!!!!!!!

This takeaway has great food and even better service. We have used them now for year and we will use them for many more to come.

Order chicken fried rice and chicken chow me in from marble for delivery, we live 5 minuets away and it's taken over an hour and a half for them to deliver our food! Will not be ordering to be delivered from there again.

Best Chinese takeaway around. Have made all my friends try it and they now agree. Their set meals are great value and good size portions. Sometimes delivery is late but that's only due to the popularity. Also the prawn crackers have lost some quality recently but that's my only quibble :)
