I appreciate this is a wholesale bakery but if you’re going to offer walk in experiences then a certain level of customer service is to be expected. The entrance is not a traditional entrance and upon entering I was met with an extremely unwelcoming ‘greeting’ if we can call it that. Extremely disappointed as I drove one hour for a birthday treat on my birthday and this was what I received.

I am still so flabbergasted by the poor treatment of me and my friend at this bakery. We walked over an hour to get there, as a treat for my friend who was visiting london to see me, and is gluten free, only to find out once we arrived there that it no longer operates as a cafe. We inquired as to whether they had anything to go, just to have the door slammed in our face and then locked. Very rude. Will not be returning and will not be recommending.

Best gluten free croissants and pastries in London! Probably one of the best in the world. The croissant has flaky layers, even better than gluten croissants. The pistachio croissant is a triumph. And the spanakopita is a joy to eat.

Flavourless vibes in a cheerless setting. Brusque owner made us feel quite unwelcome - quite a stressful place to be. Far more welcoming options nearby.

I didn’t really know where to leave a review but thought this would be the best place. So being married to a GF woman for 5 years and I didn’t want to just end up buying flowers again on Valentines days…. So I took the gamble…… ordered £40 worth of GF amazingness and my good was it good. Delivery process was great. Items arrived very well packaged and vacuumed packed. The cheese twists was incredible! 100% was in the good books this year! Keep up the great work guys. Will have to try and come see on on a Bake Sale day. 100% will use again.

This place is incredible for coeliac! Came here as we were in the area without ordering online and they were able to spare 4 pain au chocolat! The most delicious pastries i've had post-coeliac diagnoses and my gluten eating partner even loved them. Would definitely recommend, just order ahead.

“Make sure to place your order before 5 PM to receive your pastries by Friday - Happy Wednesday!” This was the promising email I received prompting my swift order, for my team, hours before the 5pm cut off on Wednesday. Perfect Friday treat for employees. Order was made on 6/09/23, shipped on 7/09/23, and due for arrival on 8/09/23 (Friday). Great! Emailed and telephoned company on Friday to report no delivery. Didn’t receive any response until Saturday lunchtime. I asked for redelivery next Friday, (as office was closed for weekend) and was told “We don't offer a guaranteed delivery day service”. “You have a minimum of 3 days ambient, 5 days refrigerated”. “they’ll be FINE on Monday..” Yum, can’t wait to tuck in to my 6 day old pastries on Monday 👍🏻 Please do not expect fresh pastries, and do not expect them to be delivered on time (even if you have paid the expensive delivery fee).

This is Coeliacs paradise! I am so happy I found this place, I ll def go back. I tried the Millefeuille and it was so delicious, you don’t feel the difference with a non GF pastry. Everyone loved it. I would love to try more however it s a pity that they are closed during weekends and on week days they open at 11am which means I will not be able to have breakfast. Love this place.

ive recently relocated from the US. I am learning all kinds of new things. post codes are one of them. i placed an order with the correct address but for whatever reason the post code came up as a neighboring town and i had not noticed till the delivery drive had called to tell me my house did not exist. it does I am sitting in it. the driver proceeds to hang up on me and mark my delivery as undeliverable. i was no longer able to divert the package for collection. I started to panic and contacted Manna Dew directly. I cannot even begin to tell you how much relief this gave me. i had received a return call within 10 minutes of phoning and within an hour had the package being diverted to my correct post code. the service and dedication was outstanding to say the least. mind you this was also the week before Christmas, and this could have easily been pushed aside with all the other orders taking priority. I will absolutely be purchasing again in the future.

Delivery came in time (48 hours) with plenty of delivery updates. I’ve been gluten free for 5 years and this is the first time I’ve indulged in croissants, cheese straws and danish pastries. Absolutely wonderful, brilliant. Take the time to warm them through slowly in the oven. Recommend cutting croissant in half first. I am so grateful for bakers to invest time their time and expertise to make GF customers soooo happy. These are worth every calorie and penny paid 😊😊

If you want to be ripped a new hole, then this is the place for you. If you have money to burn, then again the place for you. The quality of the food is very average, considering the price, i thought it was going to be identical to non GF bakes, but its not. Really disappointing.

Terrible service. Paid £6 for a Friday delivery for a birthday and it never arrived. Got told it would be with me the following Tuesday as they had made an error but owner refused to refund the delivery charge. Or offer any form of apology. Just cancel order or get it 5 days late. Awful. Rude. Bad business practice

I will start by saying that I rarely write reviews but I just feel I had to share what an amazing experience I had with Mana Dew's Pan au Chocolat's! Ever since I became intolerant to gluten I have craved croissants and pastries but sadly I have never found anything that compared to the original taste - until today! I would actually rate Mana Dew's Pan au Chocolat much higher than most of the regular pastries I ate when I could eat gluten. It was so delicious and fresh and just such a luxury after not being able to eat gluten for 3 years. Thank you SO MUCH Mana Dew for making these amazing treats I will be back :-)

When my best friend and I traveled to london, we had these and they tasted great! I’m reverting to clean-eating so I was asking the Managing Director himself some questions for my own knowledge and he was very helpful and open to communication which I’m really thankful for. Definitely recommend manna dew

No words will explain the awesomeness. Got a box of gluten free pastries delivered to my home in Streatham and am in shock at how good these are. Perfect service, quick delivery, chose my preferred delivery date and we finished the whole order in 1 day. Definitely recommend!

I have used this cafe for many years and since the proprietor Ali left it seems to have lost it’s way as on a number of occasions they are advertising dishes on their menu which they no longer prepare or have the ingredients for, therefor they need to update the menu to reflect what is currently available. I have also noticed that the sauce bottles they use have broken lids and could potentially be unhygienic.. A tweak here and there would benefit.

Visited the cafe and really enjoyed the atmosphere and we found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to visit again.

Here just for drinks while we waited to check in to Premier Inn just round the corner. Service was okay and coffee okay. Seems to be a café /coffee shop to bring your gadgets and look at your screen. Depends upon your point of view whether that is good, bad or indifferent.

We've been here before, maybe a year ago and the experience was good, however on this occasion it was poor. We selected what we wanted from the website menu however when we arrived it was apparent that the website menu was out of date; some of our selections were not on the table menu. Two of our party selected Sausages and mash but there were no sausages so had to select something else. Three of us ordered fish & chips but bizarrely there was no vinegar available. It's the first establishment I've ever been to where you couldn't get vinegar with fish and chips. One of our party ordered a burger which was supposed to have two patties but was more like one and a half. He went to complain about it but nobody came back to us. When paying at the bar I mentioned the burger issue and the guy I was talking to went off to check with the server and he knocked this meal off the bill. I also pointed out that they had missed £60 worth of wine off the bill. He added it on to the bill but I didn't get any thanks for this. Wish I hadn't bothered now. I feel that the main issue however was the demeanour of the staff. Instead of "I'm awfully sorry we've ran out of vinegar" and maybe an explanation of why, it was "we haven't got any vinegar". It wasn't " I'm really sorry, we've had a run on the sausages and there aren't any left" or something like that, it was "we haven't got any sausages", It wasn't "we're really sorry the burger meal wasn't up to our usual standard" or something like that, it was "I've knocked it off the bill". It wasn't "oh, that's really good of you to let us know we'd missed the wine off the bill" or something like that. It was, well nothing really, it just got added to the bill. It was if having customers there was an inconvenience to the staff. There was minimal eye contact, no smiles and avoiding contact with customers as much as possible appeared evident. Wish we had gone somewhere else. We certainly won't be going again. I'm writing this in response to an email from the Nine Elms Tavern saying that my option matters. It will be interesting to see what, if any, response I get to this.

Have been visiting bi-annually for last 3 or 4 years. October 2024 visit very disappointing. Menu has been shortened and made very generic. Decor is tired. Staff are still pleasant but the buzzy ambience and perception of leading the trends are gone.
