Lovely brunch spot on the quay. Food was lovely and great service- looking forward to coming back one day! Menu was varied with specials also, only wish our stay was longer so we could try more!

My wife dropped in for a coffee in the morning and were instantly impressed with the attitude and service of the staff. The coffee also very good and its a nice spot to sit and enjoy the dock. We then had a walk and cam back for our lunch which again was very good in all aspects of service and food. A very professional and young team clearly managed by a great owner.

We are regulars at Mango’s. The reason behind it is that the standards are always consistent, food and service. Kyle and her team are always exceptional. Ella always knows our drinks order before we even ask … attention to detail, great food and it feels like home. Thank you !

My friend and I were in town looking for a bite to eat and ended up in Mango's. What a beautiful spot! It's a really pretty, well put together little café / bistro. The sun was shining and Mango's is the perfect place to sit outside by the water and catch up / watch the world go by. I'm coeliac and sometimes struggle to find gf options, but the menu more than delivered. I tried the Turkish eggs; fresh poached eggs with bright orange yolks, whipped feta, mint, and a spicy hollandaise on gf bread - sooooo good! My friend is veggie and said the sweet avo toast with caramelised onions and grilled mushrooms was delicious. The staff were attentive and accommodated our needs. Overall, really impressed with this place and will be back! Thank you, Mango's. Spot on.

First time visit and will definitely be the last. Sad to say the quality of food looked great. Sadly it was firstly cooked enough and was clod on arrival. The scrambled egg and chorizo was lovely but that was the last good thing. Everything else was under cooked. Set one meal back to be replaced with uncooked food again and the pouched egg tasted as it had been cooked in pure vinegar. Staff did a great job though handling the situation. Milkshakes were lovely. Meal was refunded though which was appreciated.

Be warned about paying a service charge. This is not pointed out prior to paying. It says optional on the menu so why not mention it when paying??

Visited mangos coffee shop today and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and with the views around the quay it made for a wonderful morning. We will definitely be coming back here soon.

We both really enjoyed our gluten free breakfasts, the homemade beans were very good! everything on our plates was really fresh and the smoothies were great as well.

Second time here in about 5 weeks, was very busy today being Christmas week but managed to get a table and although we were warned food orders might take up to 40 minutes, our arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. As per last time food was fantastic and service fab - great to see an independent business doing so well.

Immediately we entered the restaurant we were greeted by an extremely helpful and friendly member of staff. The menu choice was extensive and varied, my wife succumbed to the waffles which were delicious and extremely well presented. My bacon & brie panini was truly “out of this world” how something so simple could be so good is beyond my comprehension, well done to the kitchen. I did ask specifically about the brie ((because it was so good) unfortunately the team couldn’t give me any details. The coffee and my wonderful pint of Devon Rock were excellent too, and unlike some restaurants fairly priced. The restaurant was extremely clean and tidy too. We will return.

Ignore Phil below. He’s wrong. Mango’s is by far one of the best places in Exeter. I go there often, the food is fresh, the staff are friendly and they’re always happy to help. And no Phil, they don’t have a ploughman’s on the menu so choose the eggs, you won’t be disappointed.

When I arrived at the establishment and asked for a chicken tikka masala the staff looked at me as though I was the idiot that I clearly am. There was no option on the menu and they offered hot meal alternatives of which non could remotely look like a chicken tikka masala. So I had eggs, and they were flipping lovely.

Terrible customer service, with blunt responses to genuine questions. The manager clearly took no interest in providing a good experience to their customers.

Went here for my mothers birthday brunch- great service and food all around , lovely atmosphere, always very busy. Amazing location right by the quay, wonderful views

Always love going to Mango's for brunch, the food always hits the spot just right, I'm a sucker for an eggs benny and a mimosa and they never fail to hit the mark. Staff are friendly and not overbearing, it's a lovely laid back atmosphere. Thank you we'll be back!

Food wasn’t too bad. I had a cooked breakfast but the toast was so hard it couldn’t be eaten and the butter that came was so melted that it was just oil and went everywhere when opened. Quite expensive for what it was and my pet hate was once again an automatic tip added to the bill. We didn’t get any service over and above what you’d expect and a tip should be optional not passively aggressively added to the bill so you have to ask to have it removed. We just paid it and left but of course won’t go back so it really hasn’t helped them with future business.

Just went in for some brunch after a recommendation from family, thinking it was just a little cafe but the food was amazing. The food coming out was a little slow but they did warn us of that when we sat down. It was quite busy when we went so we were sat right at the back and the lighting wasn't great (a bit of an adjustment for the eyes when it's glorious sunshine outside). We got a strawberries and cream shake and an Oreo shake to drink, which were both amazing and huge! Much better than a Starbucks frappe. I got eggs benedict which was delicious, the ham was slow-cooked and just elevated the dish so much. My partner got the farmer's breakfast, and they allowed him to swap the bacon out for a sausage, which he found delicious. Overall the food and drink was excellent and the staff were super friendly, highly recommend.

Great spot in the arches on the Quay! Great menu and fabulous staff that are ALWAYS friendly and helpful! They go to great lengths to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome! There is indoor and outdoor seating so you can hide from the rain or enjoy the sunshine or both. The brunch menu is fantastic with so many options. There is the opportunity for something stronger than a coffee if you like mimosas with your breakfast for example. It's a great place to work from, have lunch or catch up with friends and family. Lovely in the evening when it can become a quiet bar on a Friday/Saturday! In the summer the coffee shop is packed so I recommend booking. This is one of my favourite places on the Quay for sure! Miss working from home and being able to pop in!

Visited Mangos Exeter with a friend for coffee, my friend 'bought and paid for' the coffee. We were later asked if we wanted any more, we thanked and declined but continued to chat. A while later we were again asked if we would like anything else, we ordered a second round of coffees which I paid for. I later discovered in my bank statement that I had been overcharged. I called Mangos and was told that if I can prove my friend paid for his round then they would refund my overcharge. It was assumed that the tab was left open, however when we were asked if we wanted anything else and declined then surely they would have presented for payment, they didn't because indeed my friend had already paid for the first round of coffee, but Mangos insisted that I must prove that he did. I am disgusted with the attitude of the manager at Mangos. The onus should not be on the customer to 'Prove" so I told her you can keep the money and I shall keep the bitter experience and will never be back. I will let my friends know my experience, and hopefully they will likewise avoid Mangos Exeter.

We've been here twice for brunch in the last few weeks, but be sure to book ahead as gets busy. Service was good, however we had to ask a couple of times for some things as it was busy- which we understand.

Delicious food and tasty drinks whilst watching the world go by on Exeter Quayside. The cafe was quite busy yet we didn't have to wait for a table and our drinks and food came quickly (and were very fresh and tasty! Would definitely recommend!

Kicked off our Sunday morning with an amazing full English breakfast at Mango’s today. All beautifully cooked, particularly the poached eggs, which were perfection. Great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent service all made it the ideal start to our day

On arrival it was obvious that the staff were Covid trained. We always felt safe. We had breakfast outside. Food was delicious. Price very reasonable. Service was excellent. The two young ladies who served us were attentive and so friendly. Thank you.

We were having our first morning adventure as a family of 4 in Exeter (2 young kids aged 6 and 2). We arrived just after 9am and waited at the signage at the front to ensure we weren’t over bearing given current climate. One waitress was serving tables but completely ignored us and went back inside. I entered the venue and asked for a table for 4 and was shown an inside table which was fine, and asked for a High chair for our 2 year old (this never arrived).About 5 minutes later waitress came to us and said there is a delay on food of about half an hour which to us wasn’t ideal, but as we’d read reviews we were prepared to wait. We kindly asked if we could get some pastries for the kids and order was taken. Sadly this is all we experienced. Some ten minutes later nothing arrived, no drinks order taken or adult food order taken and no pastries for the kids, so I can only assume the 30 min wait was now becoming a 40 min wait! I overheard waitress come back in and say to her colleague, ‘I’ve told everyone outside there’s a wait on food and they are chilled about it’ Unfortunately we were not outside and eating with kids is not always ideal and to be pretty much ignored was not ideal. We definitely weren’t ‘chilled’My wife thankfully found the Lounges a short walk away and we were catered for quickly and efficiently.Unfortunately I can’t comment on the food at this place, but the service left a lot to be desired. As they say first impressions count!

Great avocado and mango salsa!!!! It’s a good place for a light bite/brunch! We also had the salmon bagel which was equally good! But the avocado and mango was a tasty and fresh in a hot day!

Fabulosa comida y personal amable en una ubicación exquisita.Comimos afuera con vista a los cisnes en el río. Tenía huevos revueltos, aguacate aplastado con chile, salmón ahumado y queso feta, un capuchino de coco y un jugo de piña, mis hijos tenían huevos benedictinos con deliciosos batidos frescos de jamón, mantequilla de maní y plátano y chocolate caliente con un cornetto florentino de almendras. ¡La calidad de la comida es excepcional!

Pequeño bistro interesante en bodegas en el muelle de Exeter. Excelente café, buena selección de refrescos (Luscombe) y batidos. El desayuno termina a última hora de la mañana, pero el aguacate aplastado con chile y tomate todavía está en el menú del almuerzo, al igual que el tocino opcional. Muy bueno: perfectamente maduro y de buen tamaño ayudando. buenos pasteles para después también.

Visité para el desayuno en un domingo muy húmedo. Llamé por teléfono una hora antes y reservé una mesa (me alegré de que la tuviéramos, ya que estaba prácticamente llena). Un buen número de camareros, todos excelentes. Gran menú con una buena selección de verduras y otras opciones, así como desayunos más tradicionales. La comida era deliciosa (algunos de los mejores huevos revueltos que he probado, aunque el aguacate tal vez necesitó un poco más de condimento o tal vez un poco de lima para un poco de chispa). Sin duda volveremos, para el desayuno, el almuerzo o para tomar un café y un pastel (sus pasteles parecían muy tentadores).

We experience a lovely and peaceful place for a Saturday morning breakfast recently here. Choics though not much but it is really tasty. Price is fair and staff are friendly.
