I love this place. Nice people, great range of produce. Dry goods, and fresh produce, an excellent deli. Good atmosphere and charming. Polite too.

We had a delicious Afternoon tea comprising sandwiches, scones with superb jam and clotted cream and two cakes. Very reasonable price, well presented and really helpful service. So good we’re doing it again next week.

Lovely service, serving from the door, but you need to know what you want before you buy it as you're not allowed in, due to restrictions. Got a vanilla flat white to go. Haven't had a coffee like that for years! Delicious. Looking forward to normal service!!

Have used this delightful shop for coffee and a chat but didn't realise the vast array of products on sale. Bread, cheese, eggs, veg, fruit and more. All fresh and very delicious. The staff are always helpful especially in these difficult times. Thank you to all the staff and for the amazing cheeses. Definitely worth a visit.

Just up the hill from Tiffin which was heaving. Only a few customers in here as cafe part about 5 tables. Had a very pleasant flat white and slice of moist dundee cake for £5. Place is spotless and staff friendly. Good to get out of the drizzle and wind after trying to see the Flying Scotsman [tickets only and all sold out!]. Still I caught up with steaming in to Alton.

Cannot really comment on the food as I only popped in for a coffee, however, the deli looks lovely and had I not been on my way out to lunch, I would have been tempted by the bacon bap.

Popped here yesterday for coffee and sandwich. A bit surprised there wasn’t a menu to browse but having been told you can have anything in your sandwich, we opted for smoked salmon and cream cheese. Freshly prepared with a delicious cappuccino I was very happy. Price was great especially when compared with the neighbouring establishment. Loved the deli section.

I had an Americanism with hot milk on the side. The coffee was very weak with little flavour. I requested an Almond croissant but a plain one arrived. They then brought me a cold stodgy almond croissant. When I paid I suggested it might be a good idea to serve croissants warm. The reply was ...only by request.I also had to request a knife.

Sometimes you just want to get away from the Supermarkets, change of scenery if you like. Popped in to pick up a baguette and some Pate for lunch, ended up walking out of the building with my arms bulging with produce. Scotch Eggs are yummy, good amount of sausage meat and the egg is perfectly cooked, great for a picnic. I like the breads it doesn't taste processed. They do an amazing Mackerel Pate too, although they didn't have any left this visit. My eye was diverted by some rather nice ceramics, next time perhaps. Coffee is good too.

My father goes to Mange 2 for coffee and a croissant 6 days a week! The coffee is absolutely amazing and consistently well prepared. The cheeses in the deli are also really good. I cannot rate this place highly enough and the lovely ladies that work there!

We visit often but never write a review. Love Mange 2. Love the family owned vibe it has, the exquisite range of food they offer at the deli and the delicious coffee. I love that the owners are often around and always friendly and remember who we are and often what we want too. A fantastic business and a real asset to our local town. Keep it up!

We’re a mix raced couple who stopped for coffee during the Cress Festival. I ordered 2 coffees and the waitress proceeded to use paper cups. I said we were sitting in and I’d like cups and saucers, but was told they were only serving in paper cups (though I noticed nobody else had paper cups). I then noticed the people who arrived after us, and who sat beside us, were served coffee in cups and saucers. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the manager on leaving, and she said the waitress was young, and they were busy, but would have given me cups and saucers had I asked for them. I explained that I was the only customer at the counter when I placed my orders and had expressed that I didn’t want paper cups. I found the discrimination shocking, but the manager’s apparent lack of awareness of how damaging discrimination actually is even more shocking. I will not buy anything from this establishment again. I hope for this lady’s sake that time moves on for the good of society as this is unacceptable behaviour.

I actually need assistance with a parcel and Mange 2 staff responded like the good old times when people trusted and respected one another in a community rather than be suspicious and default to 'no'. Gee was solution and customer focused. Thank you. Then I had a coffee and I need to go back and find out what it was - excellent - not bitter, smooth, hot (not tepid) and not over brewed. I'll be back thank you Mange 2....

High Praise to the take-away sandwich maker today. The Crab and Avocado on Brown was quite the best yet, even eclipsing the Smoked Salmon and cream cheese, (no rocket please!) All served by a tremendous team of smiling ladies. Coffee is not to be missed either! Very civilised establishment, it seems to me!

I was looking for the early morning kick start and this really was excellent coffee, complimented by an excellent pain aux chocolat. Nice to find a really good alternative to the usual chains none of which appear to be present in Arlesford.

I often visit Mange 2 Deli and as well as using the shop, were yummy cheese and bread can be bought, they also provide a bistro service that provides excellent small bites and snacks as well as refreshments.Alresford is one of those towns that has managed to resist having the mega supermarket so it still retains an quaint and interesting High Street as well as being the home to The Watercress Line (Steam Railway between Alresford and Alton).Mange 2 Deli is a good place to recharge batteries. You can sit inside or outside. I recommend it.

We had lunch here recently on trip to the area and were very pleased. The soup and bread is to be recommended. Also worth browsing the great range of deli offerings. Alresford is a charming small town with an excellent high street with many independent shops. Mange 2 is an excellent spot to drop in for a snack or drink while in town. The area is famous for growing water cress and so is worth visiting to learn more about this ancient crop.

Popped in for breakfast and were not disappointed. On this occasion we did not buy from the deli but they had some excellent produce and the bread looked great.Breakfast wise, coffee was good and I had egg, bacon and toast. Simple in some ways but also easy to get wrong, the toast came on a separate plate to the scrambled egg (you can choose fried as well) and bacon and both were lovely, reminded me in someways of the great tastes of Canada breakfasts. The toast was granary abs came with butter and individual jars of tomato sauce, honey and marmalade. Also a special mention to The staff who were very friendly and offered us advice on were To go and what to do as this was our first time in Alresford. All in all a lovely breakfast and a great start to our day in what is a lovely town.

I've stopped in at this deli for the last 5 mornings for a coffee and a breakfast snack. The coffee is delicious it's a moonrake bean I think and has a great taste - much better than a lot of chain coffee shops! The croissants are flaky but not too flaky and a buttery taste and the breakfast biscuits unusual but editable. The staff have always been polite and cheery even really early in the morning.Overall would definately recommend popping in here if you're in alresford

In the stunning old country town of New Alresford, this small 'boutique' Cafe/Restaurant and Deli located at the bottom end of the 'high street' stands out. The deli side of the business sells a large range of good quality fresh and preserved foods from local sources. The 'eatery' side provides light meals and snacks made to order from these same ingredients. They really are very good. It's a little quirky but that's all to the good in this sort of establishment. If you are visiting the town (or just passing through), this one is well worth seeking out.

Called in for breakfast - super smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Excellent service- attentive waitress - young yet very polite - super chef. Bread we bought on the way out was amazing - best we have had in a long time. Yes some of the products are expensive but no everything is.

We like to support local and independent establishments but it's at times like this I wonder why I bother! We made contact with Mange2 a good few weeks ago to discuss the possibility of them catering for a party we are having. Our initial enquiry was in person and we were greeted by a very surly member of staff who came across with a "cant be bothered attitude" but we preserved". We eventually spoke to the person who deals with this type of enquiry and gave them the brief. Within 4-5 days we received the initial quote to which we had some questions and further requirements. Messages were left asking them to contact us to discuss this further and to this day we have not heard a thing. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place if this is the attitude.

If you're looking for a wide range of cheeses, don't buy here: go over the road to the Coop, where their prices are much cheaper! The staff are friendly, but the owner has bad eye contact and is clearly working below her station. I was left wondering who was doing who a favour!

Took ages to order and pay for soup-and-a-roll, then ages for this to arrive. Soup was cold! Once heated up, it was very tasty - although the roll was disappointingly bland. Despite the numbers of staff, all customers seemed to take quite a while to get served.Note that this eatery provides no customer toilet or hand-washing facilities.Maybe I was unlucky - there seemed to be plenty of customers.

I was inspired to write this review by seeing a Greggs eating numpty slamming the place for price. Yeah, they're not cheap but you're paying for quality ingredients and an amazing product which is value for money. For less than a fiver you're getting a huge sweet treat with complex flavours, a very satisfying, delightfully flaky pastry and a very satisfying and filling experience. If you want a hit of sugar and bland white, air filled bread? There are cheaper options! You won't get a limp chicken pasty here. If you want extremely satisfying bread made with high quality flour and an amazing crust? If you want tasty, sweet pastries with a delicious zing? If you love good food rather than ultra processed? Then this won't bust your budget and will fill you up. The venue itself is a warehouse with some benches other branches are much nicer.

Well said clearly on receipt espresso on the side. Obviously cannot read. Coffee was vile so returned and got snapped at. Won't be coming back here.

Have not been here since pre Covid. Other reviews were not so good, but we had no complaints. We were early on a Sunday morning so although quite a few people the service was not slow. The coffee was excellent, and the carrot cake jolly tasty. The toilets were very clean. For me I trod carefully on the terrace which did look a bit slippery.

Excellent as always, delicious food, reasonably priced, I wish I’d had room for a pud. Lamb shank is a treat, tender as anything with proper veg.
