Went here for a hen do. Clearly very popular for these as had multiple hens and a birthday all for bottomless brunch when we arrived. Time starts from when you order first drink. Great music. Came over regularly to check if needed any more drinks. Food was nice. Would recommend if want good brunch at reasonable price.

If hell was on earth then I am sure this would be the place. My daughter booked a table for NYE at a cost of £40 for 4 of us. We arrived and the bouncer was a complete idiot. Once inside we were stamped like cattle, then shown to our table not clean or inviting. I had to ask how we claimed our £40 back and was told should have got a card when I was stamped, this did not happen. We got out card and went to the bar for our drinks which were highly over priced, the place was full of children. Our table was booked 10pm till 1am we left at 10.15pm No I would not recommend or return EVER!

usually a good experience but terrible on new years. same amount of people before midnight as after midnight but the bouncers only started letting people in once new years had already happened. awful treatment from the bouncers that night, which is a shame because ive generally had good experiences from them

In need of a refurb! We had to wasted girls falling around and doing press ups at 3pm.... love to see people having a good time I certainly would not have given them any more booze!

Staff were all okay, but I found this place rather expensive & a bit lacking in atmosphere.

Popped into lunch spending over £40 on watered-down Diet Coke, halloumi burger which was burnt on one side and so tough, they hadn’t even bothered toasting the hard bagel it was served with. Fried chicken so fried we nearly lost a tooth! Really would not recommend at all…

Loud, fun, busy little bar in the liveliest ginnel in Harrogate. Big enough, but does fill up on a weekend night time. Averagely priced. Good tunes

Friday is 241 on cocktails 🍸 up to 8pm. Bottle of prosecco £15 all day/evening Friday. Food 50% off all day Friday. Brilliant music and a great atmosphere. Staff are lovely and cheerful. Its my new favourite local pub.

So where do I start been to the one in Leeds a few times and what a place to be, but this is such a let down, Saturday night no atmosphere, we booked 3 months in advance, and food pre ordered 6 weeks before, we went for an hen do and the bride to be was so let down from this place, waited ages for drinks, asked 3 times for jugs of water and took over 30 minutes and the place was dead, probably only had 3 drinks each due to always asking and service so slow, we complained to the manager no apology was made, just asked what we wanted to happen, just horrible service, after speaking to locals the faces said it all, the place over the road seems to be the place to be, but we expected it from this place just a disappointment don't waste your money or time

Shockingly bad service, large group with food orders 1 month in advance and it took over 2 hrs to get the food, some of us had to leave before the food arrived. .

Bar staff are lovely, the door men are absolute brutes! Went in for a belated baby shower, went outside for a cigarette and when I tried to go back inside the door man said i couldnt go back in, grabbed hold of me and dragged me down the street for absolutely no reason at all! This isn't the first time it's happened here and upon telling others about it, it turns out its a frequent occurance! They are horrendous and I won't be going back again! Absolutely ruined my night!

I have the new drivers license, I’m 18. And the bouncer wouldn’t let me in. As my REAL drivers license wouldn’t move the hollow-gram properly. Shocking service. The bouncer proceeded to let other people with the same updated card in and not me. Should be fired straight away.

First time we've visited here before and we absolutely loved the place. The food was amazing and the staff were all so lovely and helpful. We will definitely be visiting here again very soon!

Amazing bar and friendly staff!! The 2-4-1 cocktails are great for sharing with friends :) Wanted to order a dessert but wasn’t told that the kitchen closed at 9pm so take note. Also the mirror that everyone takes photos in is in the girls toilets (info for all those insta stories)

The tall barman called Seth is particularly amazing. Other than that, the cocktails were lovely and my friend enjoyed her G&t. It's a younger client group later but early evening is fine for a barman's mum and her friends 😉

I was here with a large group of friends and all of us unanimously agree that the food was amazing. It was easy to book over the phone. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was lively (Note: The restaurant becomes a club after 9pm). The service on a whole was good but a bit slow, we waited a substantial amount of time before our orders were taken and food was served, it did however allow us to chat more over drinks. Expect to be here for an hour or two, and expect to be well fed with good food. -Your Friendly Advisor

2 4 1 on all cocktails....wouldn't be too bad if they had the ingredients for cocktails, happened twice.. the end result being sailor's punch, wasn't too bad plenty of ice for this warm evening

brilliant festive bottomless brunch, staff were 5star, food was lovely, very attentive, only small complaint is they sat everyone at tables in one area when there was a whole restaurant to fill - with the pandemic it would have been good if they utilised this more. Other than that - faultless

Booked this for my partner to have some food and drinks while out with our daughter for my partners birthday while they shopped what a disappointment ordered food and drinks cocktails are awful food never turned up ! When asked where food was the girl said i will find out .... never to return to advise on what had happened . Finally my partner spoke to a guy as they left and told him what had happened he appologised and they left hopefully for the money to drop back in the bank . At times as hard as they are with these places saying how can they make money with restrictions in place you would of thought they would up the game and give good service to make people spend more and come back to spend again in the future on this occasion it was far below what should be and repeat business will not come from us .

We went here Thursday night. Bar staff were very rude and arrogant. Apart from the music didn't really enjoy the atmosphere in this bar.

Been to Harrogate a good few times but this was our first in Manahatta. The food was OUTSTANDING, Katsu curry for myself and hubby had a doubled up burger. There was only two bar staff and two staff waiting tables, not sure on kitchen staff but they all worked their butts off. Service was excellent. Would defo recommend for food and cocktails.

Understaffed. Had to wait 20 minutes to get served while the staff were making cocktails. No urgency about them. Nothing we wanted on the food menu was available. Terrible experience. They need to seriously up their game. Won't be going back

Asked about drink prices as some rounds where less than others and some where more than others throughout the night, first round £10.10 second £9.90 3rd £10.30...... when asked said it depends on the time of night ... same drinks in every round what a load!!!

We booked her very last minute after being let down by another establishment locally. The staff were very accomadating and helpful. Was surprised it wasn't busy at all between Christmas and New year. Worked well for us as we spent several hours here enjoying lunch and their cocktail offers. Nice clean surroundings. Good place for larger groups

Awesome place, lovely atmosphere, both me and my uncle (age gap of about 20 years) both enjoyed very much and very good waiting staff.

I'm a fan of the Leeds and Headingley branches, but was turned away from here for wearing either shorts or converse. Not sure which one because the doorman refused to tell me. Never had an issue in the other manahatta sites wearing either so maybe a bit of brand consistency needed? Doorstaff refusing to communicate also not helpful

Less menu options versus The Pit (which this venue was previously). But the service was very good and the macaroni dishes were good.

Got refused entry for having trainers on , then pointed out that people in the building were wearing trainers , I was then told I'm not allowed in because they are nike airs , apparantly because you have an air bubble on the bottom of your shoes your not allowed in. Pathetic

The food was great. It was a Sunday evening, so it was very quiet. Good service. I'll have to try a Friday or Saturday. I bet it would be great then.

Nice and lively for a small town bar

I live in Suffolk but has a night out in my hometown of Harrogate last weekend. Happened to go into the pit and had a great night. So popular and great music.

I have been here on two occasions recently. It's a pleasant place with good atmosphere, friendly staff and a good choice of food. They also do the Meerkat two for one deal on food so remember to show your card. The reason why I've dropped my rating by one star is the lack of driver-friendly drinks on offer. The first time I went this was not a problem. In fact, it was here that I was introduced to San Pellegrino. Unfortunately, for some reason they've stopped doing these. Neither do they do J2O, my other favourite. In fact, apart from Dr Pepper and grapefruit Ting and the odd alcohol-free lager there wasn't much to choose from. So, disappointing on that front. But we had an enjoyable time and made use of the games room upstairs, which sports a pool table, table football and table tennis, as well as a couple of TVs. All in all a good evening out.

Visited on Monday. It was 50% off all food. Rude not to go!. Good food. Cocktails 2 for 1. Service good. Only downside, would have stayed longer ie. spent more money, but music not good.

This is a very busy below street level bar. Does tend to attract a younger croud and shows most sporting events on its many screens. Pool and ping pong tables with private dining area upstairs is nice with access to small open air area. Food is American and fried and drinks are OK priced.

We have been here twice now when we visit Harrowgate and the food, drinks and staff have been amazing on both occasions. I had the San Jose Chicken and my wife had the Pit Grilled Thighs, The quality of the food and the taste was fantastic. We was served initially by the Manager Johnny which is good to see rather than being sat in an office and letting the staff do all the work. Keep up the good work guys, we will be back next time we're in Harrogate.

One of the best places to eat in Harrogate. Food is always on point and service is always good plus you can go upstairs and shoot some digital terrorists in the face while you wait.

Been a couple of times with friends, good for a night out in Harrogate. Young crowd, busy bar, decent music. No cloakroom, toilets a bit grim. People dance on tables and bouncers seem cool with it

Got ignored at the bar for 20 minutes on arrival by a young man with black glasses and stylish red hair. We didn't make a fuss about it, we just left.

Food was of an average standard.Atmosphere was above average.Price wise..was good given that it was 2 for 1. I paid £34 for meal (1 course) plus drink.Which for a night out wasn't so bad.

Says it’s a sports bar but it ain’t. As soon as the half time whistle goes, off goes the commentary and on comes music. Same at full time. If you want to cater for sports fans, you have to show analysis too. Go somewhere else if sport is you teal thing.
