Costa in Harrogate

Excellent staff one of the best I have come across. Just moved to Ripon I was very impressed 👏

Popped in to collect my birthday cake treat and ordered a hot chocolate to go with. Staff super friendly. Hot chocolate was hot a delicious. Had the chocolate and salted caramel cake, which was soooooo good.

Had an iced latte with my friend, £7.10 for 2 small tumblers! Expected at least one of the tall glasses. Friendly staff but product vastly overpriced.

We went for a coffee on Saturday morning 11/05/2024. The staff were so nice very cheerful and helpful. They even took the time to write a nice message on our coffee cups.

Staff were great but only one changing room. I'm gluten free

Dont wipe the tables, Covid is still rife, I take my own wipes as the tables are not very clean

Surprisingly cosy for a motorway services area. Usual good Costa drinks, snacks and service.

The latte has a horrible taste, it's awful ... after a few sips had to throw that coffee!!! very disappointed it was my favourite cafe for so many years, but it seems that they no longer respect their customers when it comes to quality ...

Just ordered a latte and the customer service was awesome as always. 🙌🏽 I have to say the coffee was very flat and cold! 👎🏼 I keep coming back to see if there’s any improvement in the drink quality but unfortunately it’s getting worse! I use self service machines more often and I have to say the coffee is much better from there, but it shouldn’t be!! I hope they improve and start making better quality drinks in the near future. ☕️👎🏼🙁

Friendly service. With this layout better signing of the need to select toasties before queuing is needed as new customers hold the queue up while they go back to fetch the their choice of toastie.

Great service with friendly staff

Decor-wise, the chosen colour scheme here doesn’t take account of the relative lack of natural light and the overall effect is to give the cafe a rather dull look. It is however very spacious, clean and comfortable. The service and coffees were up to the high standards expected of the chain.

The lady with short blonde hair was amazing my fist time coming into the ripon costa and she made my day with a happy smile and lovely customer service very helpful.

Never a "Fast" option but the coffee is awesome and is worth the wait.

Coffee very good staff very stressed and I was unable to hear them clearly due to the covid19 safety barrier and face masks as I rely on lip reading I found the experience lacking in the excellent quality I have experienced in prior visits

It's always lovely to go somewhere warm when it's cold outside, and Costa never disappoints. One warning - don't order the Irish velvet hot chocolate if you don't like coffee. I made a grave error when I visited...

Very reactive and made me feel very safe that took allergy seriously. Great Covid secure system. Drink lovely.

Conveniently placed for a cup of coffee just off Ripon's Market Square. There was a bit of a queue because of Covid distancing, but the staff were frie5and helpful and sanitized the window seats we asked to sit in.

A nice enough coffee stop. The filter coffee was very drinkable, and because they'd run out by the time I went up for a second cup they made me an americano for the same price.

These alternative roast options sometimes if cafes are barely noticeable. Not so the winter roast at Costa. I dropped off my daughter for a school trip away today and had time before work to pull into the loading bay and grab a winter roast latte. Very good coffee, worth the little extra, these days prefer to do this than add any syrup especially as I have gone sugar free. I never bought one but I see they have strawberry croissants now, I bet my departing daughter would have liked one of those.

I love Costa at Stokesley, the staff are the best, the good and drinks are great quality and the atmosphere is good. Staff are the best in any Costa in the North East.

Loads on dirty tables stacked with pots. I sat at a dirty table as no choice. Dusty light shades dirty walls. Need more than two staff. Shame.

the recent refit and table configuration here is a retrograde step. the lighting is very poor. Used to enjoy hanging out here but quality of coffee isnt what it used to be

The coffee was good and the service was good. I had a cheese and ham toastie and my husband had a tuna sandwich. I do think though that the toastie and sandwich were expensive for what they are. My toastie tasted ok but looked very boring on it's plate, a slice of tomato or a small handful of crisps might have cheered up the look of it!

A costa usually has a certain standard but this one looks a lot nicer since it got re-vamped. Staff are always nice, i come here on my breaks every time.

You know what you're getting with Costa - great coffee, good sandwiches, gorgeous cakes. This one is no exception with the addition of some of the friendliest staff I have met! It's also spotlessly clean which can't be said of the branch on Beulah Street in Harrogate. I always enjoy a coffee and cake in Costa - I'm usually in a hurry on the way to my hair appointment and I know I will be served quickly and efficiently in here. great addition to the café scene in Ripon.

Visited costa for a hot drink before rememberance parade. Always clean and the staff are always very helpful.

my mum likes there chicken and bacon toastie and i like there hame and cheese toastie meal deal where you get a stickered toastie and a meduim hot drink and either a bag of popcorn or crisps or a peice of fruit.

Costa Coffee is in an old pub, on the corner of our High Street and Frogmore Street, quite a bit of space inside, like on two levels there is steps , flat entrance at the back, Coffee and food good.....

This is the first time I have been in this costa. It is quite large and one of the nicest ones I have been in. Staff were very friendly and it was very clean. Will definitely call in again when next in ripon.

This is quite a large Costa with plenty of seating and vert accessible for those with a pushchair/wheelchair. Staff attentive but at busy times be prepared for a long wait.

While we were staying in Ripon went in for coffee and cakes. Quick service and polite staff. Really enjoyed coffee and blueberry muffin, chocolate tiffin.

Nice coffee and toasties in comfortable, contemporary surroundings. Costa never feels that special but does what it does consistently well.

Have visited here a few times and the place is always clean and the staff are always very friendly. Same coffees and cakes etc as any other Costa but the service with a smile is a plus for this branch.

We stopped off here for refreshments and weren't disappointed. The tea and snacks were just what we needed. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Daily newspapers are provided free! Very clean toilets! Would highly recommend.

A Costa without napkins/serviettes? Only a small issue, everything else fine. Very friendly service, decent coffee, clean and tidy inside. Enjoyed my croissant and will no doubt return. Shame about the napkins...
