Went here as it was close to our hotel. Dont usually post reviews, but this was a suprisingly good place. Food was excellent and good value.

Love the restaurant and the food but if only they did Halal Option , I would invite my Muslim friends to try Momo specials

I've eaten here a few times in the past but not for a number of years now. Finding myself nearby a friend and I decided to see if was as good as it used to be. It wasn't. It was better. Really excellent Nepalese food with authentic spicing and flavours. Everything was great - but note of honour to the naan. Nice, light, crispy almost, not the bready doughy rubbish most places serve. The finest naan I've had since I was last in India almost ten years ago. Great value, friendly service. Excellent in all ways.

Really friendly little place with very good food - vegetarian thali and peshwari nan were excellent. The choice was pretty broad and the Nepalese specialities were genuinely different and tasty.

Today I visited Mama’s with my family, the food was excellent, especially Bhutan and Jhol momo. True Nepalese taste with perfect blend of spice and flavour. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy fantastic food. The service was equally amazing.

The food was suitably complimented with the courtesy of your staff and the overall friendly ambiance throughout your restaurant. The pricing was also reasonable and with parking directly outside, I feel you have managed to establish a fine balance in your business which remains highly appealing. We love Nepalese food, and this place came up trumps. The staff were lovely, very helpful indeed. The food is very reasonably priced, the Mom is both veggie and chicken are lovely and the bread is gorgeous.

I have been to Mamas few times now and it always impresses with its authentic Nepalese taste. Its an authentic Nepalese resturant unkike many other cafes in London. Food was rightly cooked, great flavours and perfect temperature. Service was very friendly by Tek Bahadur who is the manager of the cafe. Good value for money and short walk away Osterley tube station for public transport commuters. Not to be missed: Lamb Curry Nepali style, Sukuti Chatpatey, Malekhu Macha, Mamas special fried rice. 😊 Will go back again.

Was A little dubious with some of the negative reviews but I have been here and gone Nepolese authentic and have not been disappointed has been pretty much the best restaurant food we have eaten

He himself is a chef So, its hard to please him, but the good thing is.... he find the food very tastey. We’ve ordered twice before and have been highly impressed with the taste and quality. It’s always busy so if you want to sit in I’d recommend that you call ahead to book.

Restaurant adjusted the delivery times so it took more than an hour after ordering for the food to arrive. Only the momos were edible. Everything else including the naan, chicken and lamb was too hard and chewy. Naan was too thick and dry not fluffy at all. Most of the food went in the bin. If i ever order from here again it would only be the momos.

There are 2 menus. One is mixed Indian and Nepalese dishes and the other is Nepalese street food. This is the menu I ate from and it was a lovely combination of flavours.

Really good. Lovely butter chicken, Mum was happy with her chicken korma. Bombay potatoes tasted great although the potatoes were a little hard. Complimentary poppadums and chutney. 8.5/10

Ok my first order and I have 2 problems. The food was 5 minutes late on an already extended time. And the madras was extremely oily. I had to pour out oil. But the chicken biryani was delicious and perfect plus the request of making the meal super hot was done. So all in all 3 out of 5 . Would have been 5 out of 5 if madras was not oily. 5 mins late delivery is not bad. If you order from this restaurant try the chicken biryani as it is very tasty.

I have eaten here before as we stay locally for work. It's friendly, clean. Service is a bit hit and miss, but nothing that cannot be tolerated. However, the food is excellent. Good tasty proper food. Will always eat here when in the area.

Es fácil pasar por este lugar. El exterior no es acogedor y dentro no más. Es en mal estado mejor, sin embargo he estado aquí cuatro o cinco veces durante su estancia en el hotel justo al otro lado de la carretera. La comida nunca decepciona y es una buena relación calidad-precio. El último par de veces que he estado allí han sido fiestas grandes de gente nepalí pasando un buen rato. El servicio está bien, no te hacen sentir especial pero es atento y todo lo que pedí fue entregado en buen tiempo.

Very good food, portion size was not too big and not too small. Saag gosht was good, didn't drip oil and tasted fresh. Will be ordering again. Very nice delivery man too.

31st January 2017 walked in after parking outside the establishment as the brilliant Best Western Park Grand hotels car park was full and we didn't want to patronise the NCP. and the parking here is free all night, a rarity round these parts. so we decided to give Nepalese a try having been to a Gurkha restaurant in Aldershot many years ago which was stunning I thought this should be good.

Loved it! Always wanted to eat a proper meal from here other than Momos & was so worth it! The delivery was spot on with timing! The food was so good that my other half went crazy with every bite!!

Very bad. Disapointed. 1. I didn't mind waiting but I have given full instruction about delivery(knock on the window) and type of food(less spicy). 2. According to resturant policy if ordered +£20 will get large bottle soft drink. Not even small drink.

This restaurant clearly has a very talented chef. The food was perfectly seasoned and spiced. I have tried a few Indian takeaways in the area and this is the best by far. The best chicken Byriani and methi chicken I've tasted! Yum!

first time in a nepalese restaurant: nice food but dont expect much from the waitress as all she did was reading the menu.... not helpfull and very slow service in spite of having only 3 tables to manage. starters were nice (some kind of puffed rice) very unusual but very tasty, main was ok (drunken fry) but nothing fancy.

We were over charged by the restaurant. As per the manager (Shiva ), same dish if ordered from the restaurant menu , the portion would be bigger at no extra charge. That means as I ordered food through Just Eat, I pay more and get less quantity..!!!!

We casually walked into the restaurant not expecting much but we had the best Momos and Chilli Chicken during our holidays in London. Spiced well to suit the Indian taste and very well priced as well. Lots of options for an Indian traveller

It was worst customer service ever I have seen in my life in a restaurant. We drove from Slough to test food you serve, we knew we were slightly late but the guy working there was shouting with another customer who left his stuffs the day before. We know he might have been stressed but it was not the way to treat other customers who work hard and come to your restaurant to have a little quality time but are rediculed with your stupid behaviour...we ordered beer but he did not bother to serve till we finished all our food because he was showing himself as a pampered single child but not a responsible...getting stressed doesnt mean you got right to spoil others' time...was very rude with everyone...what we saw was all the customers were embarrassed too...omg, I cant believe people are running business in London with those staff....it was really not good choice for us...hope this review will help you to change your attitude...momo we ordered had red meat inside...not tasty at all...all other foods were not bad but could not feel the taste because of staff's behaviour.

We were regular customer of this restaurant but after yesterday's meal we would prefer not to go in future. We had ordered just 2-3 food items for our evening snacks. They provided couple of poppadams as a complimentary but was not fresh. After finishing popadam we got our first order chicken noodles as per our request but was too salted. Restaurant was quiet and we were only the customer that time. We were expecting good food as well as good service as the restaurant was not busy. After waiting 15 mins we received our second order 'Mo Mo' very famous Nepalese food. The Keema stuffed inside Mo Mo was steal and no taste at all. 2 pieces of those ruin my taste and my husband became upset as he tasted bad smell from momo. We paid full bill and they didn't even bother to convince us after all this complain. Will never visit here again.

To whom ever it my concern,I am beyond disgusted with the service you provided me yesterday and am now going to make a point to making everyone know how awful your service is.I came at 8.20pm and you did not take my starter order. When you did it it is was 40 minutes later. Then you cleared my plates but did not take my main order till 15 minutes later. You did not serve me my main until 10.20pm and When we finished the eating we had to ask twice for the bill after which we had to walk up to to the service station for the card machine.Your waiter was rude and arrogant and you had the music on so loud that it Made it impossible to enjoy the meal. Or hear each other. Which was the onlyreason why I came to your venue.I am now going to share my experience to everyone I know and make a point ofexposing how awful your service is.Might I add that you did the same on my birthday a week back and my dad got annoyed but still paid the bill.I shall note my experience on every food site now regarding my experience with you.Your service is terrible.RegardsPaul

For some of the dishes is best around the area. Small portions but high quality. Mixed grill and lamb tikka masala is nice. Himilayan currys are nice. Some dishes I defo wouldnt get, like jeera chicken. Jeera always tastes burnt

I was staying at the Park Grand London Heathrow and found Mama's nearby. Because it was so convenient I had my evening meal there- my usual Chicken Madras, boiled rice and plain nan, washed down by a large bottle of Nepalese Beer. The restaurant is nothing special- the lighting could be improved as I had a spotlight shining in my face yet the lighting level was so low as to make it hard to read my paper.Service was sometimes a bit slow- it could be more attentive. The food was wonderful- I normally prefer my Madras sauce to be thicker but the taste was excellent. Apart from the Curry Leaf in Staveley Derbyshire which is my Gold Standard, this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The Nepalese beerv was great too! Portion sizes were excellent and the prices very good.I will certainly return and recommend this restaurant. Unlike some of the other reviewers of this place I have no connection with the restaurant or its competitors. I suspect that some of the bad reviews are made by the competitors...

Welcoming staff,excellent food & reasonable prices. Not what you might expect from the rather uninspiring exterior. Really enjoyed two visits there this week. Would definitely recommend.

It was very busy on the Saturday evening I visited. The service by the staff could be improved but they were pretty much rushed off their feet with a virtual full house and so many telephone orders coming in for delivery. However, the staff were good enough in the circumstances and I anticipate they would be more welcoming if they had more time. The place is very popular with locals. The decor is average with no heirs and graces but the place is clean and hygienic. One can see the food being prepared to order in the open kitchen. The food quality and taste is good but cooked in too much oil for my liking. The portions are of good value and size. Not sure whether they use mutton rather than lamb as it was pretty tough! It's always a good sign to see Nepalese and Indian diners at a Nepalese restaurant - usually a reliable indicator of authentic and good cuisine. Well worth a visit.

We ordered from Ma Ma's last year for delivery and it took 3 hours for it to get to us. A year later we gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. This time it took 2 hours to get to us. The food was cold and service is appalling! Huge shame, as their food is actually ok. But based on how long it took to deliver and how their staff spoke to us and dealt with the situation, we can safely say we'll never order from Ma Ma's again.

We have ordered from Ma Ma's a few times. Each time the meal has been well cooked and very tasty and the food has always been delivered hot and within the time stated on the website. We like this one very much and we have tried many restaurants in this area and we really enjoyed the way they made their vegetable Biryani and vegetable korma.

We found this restaurant by pure chance whilst looking for somewhere to eat near our hotel. It looked nice so we thought we'd give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, good quality pieces of chicken in my starters and main course. They do a lovely chicken tikka starter on request. The waiter who served us, Sunil, was very friendly and the service great. I highly recommend this restaurant

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY I went to mamas with my boyfriend and it was the worst Nepalese restaurant I have ever visited. Before we went there we booked a table and ordered some food so that we can eat when we get there. We were looking forward to eat in mamas since we were really hungry. When we got there the staff came up to me and said he did not know what kind of momo I wanted, I was shocked he should have asked me that on the phone. After that we sat down and the waiter started bringing our food and I must say I was shocked the way he served us. Worst customer service ever. He did not tell us the name of the food and the order went wrong again. My boyfriend told the waiter to change the chatpatey since there was no potatoes. When the waiter brought back the chatpatey it was even more disgusting it tasted like they have just sprinkled some potatoes on top. Customer service was very very poor. The guy seemed very lazy, he did not smile, It looked like he was not bothered about his customer. I would never visit mamas again worst experience of my life.

Eher aus Verzweiflung sind wir reingegangen und haben uns ein Zweiertischchen im gut gefüllten Restaurant ergattert.Der Laden an sich war nicht der topmodernste, gemütlich war es dennoch. Mit nepalesischem Essen hatte ich bisher noch keine Erfahrung gemacht, die auf der Karte offerierten Currys, Biryanis und Tandooris erinnerten aber schon an die indische Küche.Wir hatten am ersten Abend Hähnchen-Curry und Biryani und am zweiten Abend ein Curry und eine Tandoori-Grillplatte. Dazu Knoblauch-Naanbrot, von dem ich am liebsten noch 5 Stück mit aufs Hotel genommen hätte.Das Essen war durchweg sehr lecker und gut gewürzt und der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Außerdem war es für Londoner Verhältnisse echt günstig. Wir zahlten inkl. Getränken £26, bzw. £34.Warum nur 4 Sterne? Am ersten Abend kam die Cola warm und ohne Eiswürfel und auch wenn es abgerockt aussieht, kann man zumindest die Toilette reparieren und vor allem saber halten.Sollte es uns nochmal nach Hounslow verschlagen, kommen wir aber gern wieder. Worst momo I have ever had. How can u forget to marinate the kima before making dumplings and multiple times?Food was cold and not cooked properly. Went there 6-7 times but most of the time food was horrible. Never gonna try again. Tasteless food ever had.
