Finally some delicious Italian food! It was like coming home. Perfect spaghetti with clams, I will definitely be back!

I don’t normally go for Italian but the food was incredible - highly recommend the crab pasta and salted caramel dessert. I would probably skip the focaccia. Staff were lovely. It’s probably better to visit when it’s not busy as on the ground floor it’s an open plan kitchen so when it gets busy there’s a fair amount of smoke. We went there on Monday at 6pm when it was very quiet - only got busy around 7.30pm.

Lively place. Ernie the waiter was amazing attentive, funny and takes his job very seriously. Would highly recommend going there. Kane the bartender was also very kind!

Really nice little italian restaurant with an open kitchen and unusual selection of italian dishes which are very tasty and not too large portions at reasonable prices, limoncello spritz and affogato also on the menu. Definitely worth a try!

Loved our food for the most part. Really fairly priced here too. The service was a bit slow but the team were very friendly nonetheless. I come here often, strongly recommend it’s a beautiful spot

Absolute Gem, incredible food. Even better service. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a well rounded dining experience. They were kind enough to fit us in without a booking. Great on price with fantastic attentiveness. Ernie was our server he guided us through the menu and actually ended up choosing our whole experience. Kane at the bar was really happy to help also and added personality and flair to our experience. Would highly recommend for a date spot. Will be back very soon.

The food is fab and Ernie is amazing!

Food is good but portions are small - ideal however for sharing. There were three of us and we ordered 4 plates which was just right with a starter to share. However, it took ages to be served and to get the attention of a waiter for drinks and it felt like they were more interested in winding down than actually serving (our table was booked for 8:30). The restaurant is also so small that wherever you are sat you have people pushing past you and there is not a quiet space anywhere. We were sat at the very back of the restaurant where the waiters were cleaning cutlery and smashing it into the drawer, as well as dumping used glasses and plates. Good food, but for somewhere so hyped the service and restaurant was poor and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this restaurant.

Been waiting years to get to try one of Lina Stores and they’ve opened in the south now 🤩 Exceeded all my expectations in terms of my tastebuds!!! We got a set menu for two and they had a vegetarian option for us even if it wasn’t on the menu 💚 Our server Moad ensured we were served with a smile and service was quick but at a perfect rate.

We took my mum here for Mother’s Day and loved it! The staff were fantastic - James took great care of our table. Three out of four of us are gluten intolerant and Lina Stores does an incredible job of catering over half their menu gluten free. The gluten free linguine was unrivalled!

This is a fabulous little restaurant in Clapham old town. The staff are very kind and friendly. Ernest was a fantastic waiter, he made my parents feel very welcomed and comfortable ordering. He gave excellent wine recommendations and he gave good advice about the dishes that were selected. We really enjoyed the meal, the delicious wine and the excellent service we received. We will definitely come back!

My brother and I took our mum to Lina Stores for an early Mother's Day dinner last night and we had a great evening, helped hugely by our waiter Ernie. His recommendation, gnudi fritti, was the standout dish.

My friend and I went to Lina stores yesterday for the first time. We were greeted by Ernie, he was very friendly and welcoming. The service was great, we didn’t feel rushed to order food and received starter, main and dessert on time. The starters were light and top quality, pasta was delicious and good portion for me and finally the tiramisu that was soft and not too sweet, perfect to finish our meal and not feeling very heavy. I will definitely go back.

This is the fifth restaurant opened by Lina Stores, an oasis for Italians living in London that has long been located in Soho. It's right next to Clapham Common station and faces the common (park). The first floor has a counter and seats for two, and there are larger tables in the basement. However, I recommend the first floor where it is lively and where you can watch the cooking process. The menu only has a few types of appetizers, pasta, and dolce, but no main dishes. Looking at the menu at the Tokyo branch, it seems like they have a lot of items and they also have main dishes, so it seems like London is competing with a much smaller number of elite restaurants. Thanks to this, there are many customers who eat quickly and leave right away, so there is a possibility to get in even if it is crowded. However, it's a popular restaurant, so it's best to make a reservation, especially on weekends. Although simple, everything was delicious, but the ones that stood out to me were the pappardelle with a delicious salsiccia ragu sauce, and the pistachio, ricotta, and chocolate cannoli that was stuffed after ordering. They don't seem to serve the same kind of pasta, but they seem to serve dolce, so maybe I should go to the Tokyo store as well. I would also like to mention that this restaurant has wonderful, round Italian waiters who say, ``I always eat delicious food.'' The customer service was cheerful and friendly, but they also took pride in the food they served, so I really enjoyed my meal.

Went here for a date a couple of weeks ago. Good service and friendly staff. Food was great too

Focaccia starter was stale. I had the lamb pappardelle which was so salty it was barely edible. Others liked their Calabrese pasta but we all thought the portions were tiny for the price. There must be an issue with the extraction as the air stung our eyes (we were sat upstairs). Out waiter was lovely but clueless. Won't return.

Tiny portions . What is the point of going to a meal that will leave you needing to snack in a couple of hours . Why get new customers in to a restaurant and treat them like that !

Wow - some of the best pasta I have eaten at a restaurant. I had the ‘Pappardelle con Ragù di Salsiccia di Agnello’ which was Pappardelle, Lamb Sausage Ragù, Chilli, Pecorino Romano. We also shared focaccia and burrata which I highly recommend. We had a table downstairs and the atmosphere was lovely, it was busy on a Wednesday evening but quiet enough to be able to chat.

This is a cozy restaurant facing the park, service today by James was fantastic, personable and truly making it a personable and enjoyable visit. I visited for lunch and it was lovely to see the place with locals enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting and if you are a local a great place to enjoy Italian food at its best.

My favourite Italian with the kindest staff and fast service. The food was unbelievably tasty as always. I love that they explain the menu and also change things based on your preference too. 5/5 for me!

Went here on a Friday night for dinner with friends. Very busy and bustling atmosphere in the place! We were packed like sardines, but the atmosphere was still lovely. The pasta was delicious, but the focaccia starter was really dry and disappointing sadly. Definitely doesn’t feel like the kind of place you can linger - very much quick service and quick to move you along. Would go back! Just not a relaxing, slow kind of spot if that’s what you’re looking for.

Food was delicious as expected from Lina Stores. I particularly thought the butternut ravioli was good. However, I thought the atmosphere was very loud; even on a weekday evening. Lots of clanking if you are sat upstairs so if you want to catch up with your friends & partner, maybe try downstairs?

We have just discovered Lina’s dishes in Clapham yesterday and I can definitely say (as an Italian native) that they make the best pasta I have ever had in UK. The place is very cozy and the atmosphere is fantastic. The waiter was amazing, a lovely person which gave us recommendations on the dishes based on what we like most. Everything was simply perfect!

We were 3 friends catching up and went on a Tuesday evening. We found space at 9 pm and, even though we arrived a bit earlier, we were seated promptly by the very kind and very smiling front of house manager. The place was buzzing, full of people, but the staff was always kind, patient, and on the ball, giving very good advise and knowing what to suggest. We had 2 beef tartare and 1 fried polenta with mushrooms all very good . The main was the pappardelle with lamb ragù and the pasta with truffle and Parmesan plus 1 big burrata as main for the other friend. We finished off with 1 tiramisu 1 sorbet and 1 cannoli all as outstanding as the main and the starters. We had a bottle of very nice Fiano from Puglia . The service was very good throughout the evening, despite a large group of girls on a Xmas dinner that was extremely loud and would have tested the patience of a saint; but the staff was excellent even with them ! Can’t wait to visit again

Had the best dinner experience with a big group of friends. The food and cocktails were delicious and James and Monique (I think her name was) provided brilliant service with a smile. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to mates. Only reason for 4 stars was because it was quite hot in the basement and the toilets were lovely but a bit messy on the floors, but appreciate that can be difficult to regulate with lots of people/the weather as of late.

We had dinner here last night. Thankfully managed walk in and find a table. Everything we tasted was extremely delicious and it was great to be able to watch the chefs while they were preparing our dishes. The tiramisu was divine so make sure to order it in advance as it can easily be sold out.

On my second visit, the food remained consistently excellent. However, on our most recent visit, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold due to open doors and aggressive air conditioning set to freezing temperatures, which detracted from the otherwise wonderful dining experience. Would not recommend until fixed.

La prima regola per un italiano è di non mangiare cibo italiano all'estero. Però per Lina store's fate un eccezione. Il cibo è ottimo, i sapori sono quelli di casa. Le porzioni abbondanti e i prezzi assolutamente convenienti. E se capitate in una fredda giornata londinese vi riscalderanno con la loro accoglienza.
