It's an establishment that has lost its tradition. The crab Linguine was drenched in heavy cream, garlicky and nothing refreshing. The Pappardelle lamb ragu was gamey and fully coated with oil. I am glad the ricotta ball saved the meal because the focaccia was cold and soggy. This is probably an unusual experience.

The quality of the food is quite good, from the starter to the dessert. I first tried the "Menu to Share" for two people, and both the quality and quantity were excellent. I came back for the same menu, this time for a group of seven, and unfortunately we were not satisfied with the portions. The table of seven was served just two identical sharing plates of each dish—each one was exactly the same quantity I had previously received for two people. There wasn’t a single bite left, which isn’t the true Italian concept of sharing. It’s a shame, because we really did enjoy the food.

Food was good but the portion is so small. Their main is somewhere else starter size. I’m a small lady and don’t eat much but that main didn’t even fill me up, and it was £17 plus service so that’s £20 for essentially a starter. Overpriced for what it was. Didn’t think it was good value for money.

The food was really good, but we asked for a bottle of the house white wine and were given a bottle of £49 Gavi… the cheapest wine on the menu was £32 and for house white wine we expected something less than £40. We were given some “shots” of dessert wine at the end but this didn’t really make up for it (it wasn’t nice!)

Wonderful as always. The Tagliolini al Tartufo was 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Every dish was so tasty and the service was spot on. Will be back very soon! Such a lovely evening.

we went to eat in the afternoon at around 4. the English waitress seemed not happy to see customers come in. fairly decent food. I would say not exactly the best. Ridiculous portions of pasta and they charge dearly for them. not to mention the coffee. terrible for an Italian restaurant. the waitress of Somali origin is the only positive note.

Love going to Lina Stores as it is always the same! The food is great and the service is friendly and efficient. Only thing is I wish the dishes were a tiny bit bigger as I am often left hungry, but you could always have two! Would be nice to have an option to go bigger though. The pasta is delicious. A little clinical compared to Soho, but the friendly kind staff make up for the slightly clean cut space!

Everything we tried was delicious - polenta, fried artichoke, crab linguine, prawn pasta and mushroom ravioli. But don’t come very hungry like I did because the portions are tiny.

Very nice place. I’m not giving it 5 stars because it represents somewhere that claims excellence and although very good, at this price point I would hope for a bit better. But it was great and I’d go back. I would give 4.5 if I could. Service brilliant and upstairs atmosphere 5*. Downstairs way too loud.

Had lunch at Lina’s a few weeks ago. The service was lovely and we were served very quickly. We had the gnudi fritti which were really good. The focaccia was ok, and my main (ravioli con burrata) was a bit heavy. It was ok overall!

Busy night and appreciate we were a walk in however lack of attention - staff flirting with each other and very distracted. Nobody really keeping an eye out. We did three courses and left feeling hungry. Staff menu knowledge not great - recommending a white wine that was red. Main portions are equivalent to kids portions most other places. Tasty, good atmosphere but sadly every underwhelming for something we were looking forward to since the launch.

Delicious at great value - with a beer that I hadn’t heard of which was also brilliant. Highlight was the service which was top class (I think from Daisy?)

Dined there twitch my girlfriend for her birthday where we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. We would like to specifically thank the restaurant manager matti so took great care of us the whole night to make sure everything was okay and that we were having a great time. He gave us several recommendations for our food and clearly has a lot of knowledge and passion about the food. The food here was some of the best I’ve ever had and the service and management is excellent. A big thank you for looking after us on a special day!

Honestly, one of the best dining experiences I have had in a while. From start to finish, the service was top notch. James and Manuel are real credits to the restaurant. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Gave some good suggestions on starters and wines. James clearly has smellier experience, picking out a great white wine and going into detail. The ricotta and ravioli were the stand out dishes!! Would highly recommend

Delicious fresh pasta, we chose to have the set menu selection that was £35pp. Consisted of three starter dishes, three main dishes and tiramisu desert. We enjoyed all the dishes and felt it was good value and nice to have some variation. Would be 5* but the service was a little slow and the atmosphere in the downstairs dining area didn't feel the same as the main area with the open kitchen. There is also some seating outside.

We’ve been a couple of times now. They never seem to have enough staff. It did take a while for someone to come to take our order but the staff were really attentive, lovely and made it a personalised interactive experience. The food we’ve had has always been a little bit different, something we wouldn’t have at home and cooked well. It’s great that they change the menu but keep some classics. Excellent drinks, I really like the seasonal cocktails. The staff had made good suggestions for wine pairing each time.

AMAZING FOOD!!! Heard good things and it didn’t disappoint. We basically ordered the whole menu but the best starters were the ricotta and artichoke. Lemon sole ravioli and the crab linguine were the stand outs for the pasta but all phenomenal. Would come back in a heart beat! Have been here on multiple occasions, the food is always so consistent. It comes out quickly and never disappoints. It can get quite busy sitting outside in terms of people walking past but not surprising due to the location. The service has always been good even on a busy Saturday evening. Would recommend the truffle pasta or the lamb ragu both are phenomenal. The strawberry and hibiscus spritz is also really nice.

This is the second time we've visited this place. The service, food, and atmosphere are excellent. The variety of food on offer caters for most tastes, including vegan and vegetarian. The service is very friendly and prompt, always with a smile. There is some seating outside and more inside. The pricing is very much in line with other places nearby. It's not overly expensive. We will definitely be visiting again.

Solo diner ignored by all servers. Wasn’t even offered water whilst I waited for my order to be taken unlike other tables around me. Dreadful - if you are a solo diner, avoid this restaurant at all costs. Such a shame as have been here before with friends and had a great time.

Totally recommend! Great food, value for money, well located and fantastic service, always. The consistency is dependable and I love it! Monique was our fantastic waitress, she went above an beyond to accommodate dietary requirements on our table, without compromising the quality of our experience. The cocktails were great too! The slight mark down on atmosphere is only for the downstairs area, it does get very loud when full.

100/10 recommend! The food was outstanding, but it was particularly the warm hearted service and the kindness towards our kids that made the experience really wonderful. The tuna salad and the truffle linguine were incredible!

As multi venue operation, my expectations were not the highest but Lina Stores Clapham Common really looked inviting. Let's say the service was exceptional and the quality of food was everything you could ask for. I would have no hesitation returning as I consider this one of the better value for money experiences at a London restaurant I have enjoyed for some time. Thank you and see you soon.

Given my prior experience working in the restaurant, I understand the challenges that can arise during busy periods but the service that I receive during my visit was unacceptable . It's true that I been without haven't any reservations but I made myself available to wait patiently and opted to sit outside on the patio to avoid inconveniencing the staff, However, I was left waiting at a dirty table outside without any form of acknowledgment or service without even a glass of water for half a hour. When we approached the general manager, we were informed that your restaurant does not provide table service outside. While we ultimately decided to leave due to the lack of service, I sincerely hope that you will take steps to address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, to uphold the reputation and standards that your restaurant is known for.

Our first visit, we’ll definitely be back. The food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

AMAZING! Best restaurant / dining experience we’ve had for a long time. Incredible food, drinks and service. Lovely ambience. Faultless. We ordered the set sharing menu for four people with the wine pairing. Every single dish was outrageously good. I can’t say anything else except “perfection”. Also reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I thought it would be rude not to in this case! Highly recommended.

What a lovely dinner this was. My partner and I didn't have such high expectations for Lina's stores before dining here. However, we quickly reconsidered our prejudice. The decor is delicate and pleasant with a cosy atmosphere featuring their signature colours everywhere from the plates to the walls. We ordered a selection of delicious starters, namely the burrata, the carpaccio, and the deep-fried ricotta-filled dough balls (gnudi). For main, we shared a plate of picci with sausage and mushroom (special shoutout to this; they were so creamy) and pappardelle with lamb ragù. It's clear that the quality of the ingredients here at Lina's is incredible as even the most simple of starters had an outstanding fresh flavour. All this with great value for money too. We'll be back for sure.

Always really good food and good value for money, although the service was quite slow as they were fully booked and probably not quite enough safe. But lovely lunch nonetheless

Positive: The food was excellent. Pasta taste and texture was fantastic, like being in a nice Italian restaurant. The pasta mains are great value for money, although I’d like to see them offer larger portions for an increased price, as I was still hungry afterwards. They weren’t small per se, but as someone who is 190cm tall and weighs 100kg, I needed something a little more substantial. Neutral: The staff were all friendly, however, everything was slow to come out and we did have to ask twice. We also said that we didn’t want salami because they’d ran out of the focaccia but, maybe in a bit of a translation issue (no judgement, I speak zero other languages and think it’s incredible that others can), they brought some over anyway. We didn’t kick up a fuss, ate it and paid for it. Negative: It was extremely noisy with groups dominating the restaurant. We asked to move once and were then placed downstairs with even noisier groups - for context, this was a Monday night (we’re not party poopers but we wanted a quiet, peaceful meal after a heavy weekend). Secondly, they didn’t have any focaccia, which was pretty shocking for an Italian restaurant. Neither did they have any lager whatsoever - after about 5-6 minutes of waiting the server came back and said they had ran out. For an Italian restaurant to have no focaccia or lager on a Monday evening is poor. Anyway, they lost out in this regard as we opted for water and didn’t replace the focaccia with anything else. We may give it another go but with so many great Italian restaurants close by, it won’t be soon.

Not only was the food delicious, the AMAZING service was some of the best I've experienced at any restaurant. It was almost like they read my mind half of the time. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

I don’t normally go for Italian but the food was incredible - highly recommend the crab pasta and salted caramel dessert. I would probably skip the focaccia. Staff were lovely. It’s probably better to visit when it’s not busy as on the ground floor it’s an open plan kitchen so when it gets busy there’s a fair amount of smoke. We went there on Monday at 6pm when it was very quiet - only got busy around 7.30pm.

Lively place. Ernie the waiter was amazing attentive, funny and takes his job very seriously. Would highly recommend going there. Kane the bartender was also very kind!

Really nice little italian restaurant with an open kitchen and unusual selection of italian dishes which are very tasty and not too large portions at reasonable prices, limoncello spritz and affogato also on the menu. Definitely worth a try!
