Excellent food. Very tasty Steak Ramen and a nice IPA to drink. Will come back for sure.

The food was pretty average, nothing too special. The tempura prawns were crispy. The ramen was hot which was great. The chicken katsu curry tasted very average. Sushi was good but fell apart easily. The seats we were seated at weren’t comfy. You couldn’t lean back on the backrest… not great. The service wasn’t too good either, we never got asked how our food was. There was a service charge but we didn’t get any service. The waitress who took our order had a bit of an attitude as well. Usually, we don’t mind paying service charge if we actually get a service.

Thank you Gigi for putting a smile on our faces, she really took the time to help us despite us being difficult and going out of her way to make sure our experience would be perfect. That girl deserves a raise! Will definitely be coming back just for her again!

Had a great experience at Maki & Ramen! I recommend the Garlic Ramen. Have been there about three times, and each time was greeted by the lovely Kayleigh! She has been so welcoming and helpful each time. Look forward to coming again and hopefully seeing our favorite server🥰

Kailey was really nice to us and the ramen (black garlic tonkotsu) 🍜 was the best vegan 🌱 ramen I have ever had. Just the waiting time was longer than expected, almost 30 minutes. But it was also Saturday evening so I am sure they did what they could.

Always a good experience dining at Maki ramen. Rachel was extra attentive and kind! Tonkotsu ramen shrank one slice of meat from what it used to be. It would be good to have it back.

The food was great, fresh and tasty. I’ve had the tonkotsu ramen, it used to be 3 or 4 slices of tonkotsu, now it’s only two. It’d be great to have more slices again. Rachel was very kind and thoughtful. I’ll be back for sure. Recommend it!

If you like Japanese food, you can visit, but do not expect too much! Hot food can be served rather cold! I didn't think it was worth paying compared to what I have served. I visited there twice, ordering the same curry, but they were served not as hot as it was supposed to be, which made me disappointed. Well-made, but not well-prepared to the end for the guest!

The ramen was just what I needed on a chilly day! I'd been craving ramen since my trip to Japan and this hit the spot. Lovely big portions and the staff are really friendly. I'd definitely recommend!

Not the establishment it once was. Have chosen quantity over quality. Real shame.

So the food was amazing but I left a bit frustrated as when the waiter brought me my plum wine it fell off the tray, spilling all over the table and my clothes. I couldn’t have been nicer as accidents Happen, I was hoping because I was going to be wet for the rest of the day that I would at least be discounted for the meal however not only was I charged full price but he was cheeky enough to add on a £5 service charge. I don’t think I’ll be going back now, not to that one anyways

Amazing food, perfect cook and taste

Today was my first visit here and it definitely won't be my last. The staff were all so professional but friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely 5 star, could not fault a thing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great staff an amazingly welcoming atmosphere.

About the food, nothing to complain about, it was incredibly good! On the other hand, not a very warm welcome and service to be reviewed. In fact, I received my ramen even though our cocktails had not yet arrived. I had time to finish my ramen before my boyfriend received his chicken and rice... In short, we have to review the order of priority of things: first the drinks and then start the dishes and prepare them so that the table receives everything at the same time! And the icing on the cake: error in the bill, we were given a double dish. Fortunately, no hassle with reimbursement. It's a shame to have had this experience because I really enjoyed it and I still advise you to try all these little dishes and cocktails, because everything is delicious.
